This was my 2nd time trying momo. I've seen this food truck for a long time when I shop at Target but finally trying it for the first time. The first time I tried momo at anoother restaurant, I was surprised at how good & different the sauce was from the Chinese dumplings that I had thousand time before. So, that's why I really want to try Everest's momo. I ordered chicken fried rice & chicken momo. I asked if they could accommodate the fried rice to be not spicy at all for my kid and they said ok. The cashier said it would be about 15-20 minutes for my order, so I went to Target a bit and back after about 30 minutes and my order was ready. They wrapped the food with aluminum foil to keep it somewhat warm. The chicken fried rice was delicious! I wish they put more chicken pieces because my kid loved it! My husband liked the chicken momo. He really likes the sauce that came with it. As for me, the chicken momo was good but I like the sauce from another restaurant better. Overall, the food and the price was good and I will come back to try other menu. read more

Great Momos, flavors and consistency just like home and I think they make their red sauce from scratch because I love it and it doesn't taste like any of those packaged sauce. I have not tried their veg Momos yet so can't really review about it but their ChiCken MOMOS are awesome and delicious and fresh and so much meat! I absolutely LOVE this place! I have been a customer since 2016, after I found them on Yelp. My go-to's are the veg momo, veg fried rice and chow mein. They are consistent, ultra flavorful and best of all, everything is reasonably priced. I really appreciate that even though these are "like" Chinese takeout, it isn't greasy or heavy like it. The food is so jam-packed with flavor, you can't help but keep shoveling down more food. The orange sauce is an absolute must! If you're here on a date, be sure to bring gum! First time here and I was excited to try Everest Momo because I've never had Himalayan/Nepal food before. I read from the reviews that the chicken momos were the speciality so I knew I had to order that. When I came up to the truck, I wasn't greeted and I had to ask the guy if I could order. I ordered the chicken momos and the egg fried rice. The guy took the payment, didn't offer a receipt, and walked away without saying a word. The price of two dishes were $25 with a 15% tip. To be honest, not sure why I even tipped but I guess it was just out of habit. The food took about 10 minutes to get out. The Yelp advertised out door seating but there was only one table under a tree in complete darkness. No where else to sit so I sat on the curb. Egg fried rice was sub par but the chicken momos were pretty decent. That was the best part of my night. Overall, I didn't appreciate the customer service provided, the area did not have outdoor seating, and the food was subpar for such a high price point. Would not recommend. read more

I stopped by this food truck after shopping at the Fremont Hub, and got the Half and Half Combo (comes with 5 veggie momos and 5 chicken momos). I was pleasantly surprised with the veggie momos! They were pretty flavorful, and I liked them more than the chicken ones. The momos came with chili sauce and an orange chutney on the side. I would have preferred the chutney to be a bit smoother in texture, but it went well with the momos! I also liked that the veggie momos were green in color so that I could tell them apart. I appreciate that the momos were wrapped in foil, so that they remained hot until I reached home. By the time I ate them, the momos were falling apart from the moisture but I'm sure that was only because I didn't eat them right away. This food truck definitely surprised me. Its located in the Fremont Hub parking lot near the Party City and the Pier 1 stores. We've seen it in passing but finally got around to trying it. We ordered at the window, they gave us a beeper, and maybe about 10 mins later, the food was ready. We ordered the chicken momo, chicken chow mein, and the chicken chilli (no rice). The momos were good and the chow mein were good. The chicken chilli was a generous portion but wasn't my favorite. Probably should have gotten the rice. There was chicken in the chow mein so it was probably just chicken overload for me. Check out this place if you're looking for momos. I'm not sure how they handle larger lines and crowds (there was only 1-2 other people ahead of us) but for the price, this truck isn't bad. It is wonderful to see The Everest Momo food truck in the East Bay! We have been fans of the Momos and other delicacies from The Everest Momo since they opened up their first truck in Sunnyvale. The taste has been consistent over the years and so has the quality. We visited their new truck in Fremont and it was equally good. Tucked at the far end of the parking lot of Fremont Hub; they have a couple of tables to sit there. We ordered Vegetarian Momos, Vegetarian Chowmein and Vegetarian Fried Rice. They were all great. Plus we got Lemon Soda which was freshly made and super delicious. The truck uses MSG in ALL their dishes but are able to serve rice and noodles without it. The momos are pre-made so there is no option of having them without MSG. Being a new food truck in the area, there were only a handful of folks at dinner time. Service was quick and taste consistent with the other branches. They serve a dipping sauce with the momo and a hot sauce with all the dishes. The sauces are great with all the dishes we got there. They have veggie and chicken momos available. Along with that chow mein and fried rice as well - again veggie, chicken and egg as options. Reasonably priced. They have masala chai and soda on their menu as well. I picked up both chicken and veggie momos that day. They gave the sauce for momo and the hot sauce as well. I think the chicken momos were better. Delicious. Veggie momo was slightly undercooked. Nevertheless I liked it. I had the veg momos and egg fried rice. Momos : taste is good but has a weird green food coloring I guess that is for them to distinguish it from the meat varieties that I don't care for. Make it without the food coloring and I will be more interested in trying them again.
