Enjoyed this place again. They had a musician singing there. We had the veg momos and chicken Hakka noodles. Both were awesome. I will go again.

Well lit and lively food truck at 9pm on a Thursday night

Thursday night at 9pm and it was very busy!! The food truck is in a very nice community street market type area. There are plenty of barrel top tables to stand at, and a couple other food trucks and vendors to check out. The atmosphere is very lively, lots of bright lights and festive music. We ordered fried chicken momos, chili chicken momos, and chicken hakka noodles. I preferred the fried chicken momos over the the chili momos mainly because the chili sauce had more salty flavor than spice I think? The noodles were very tasty, that had a nice char on them. If I go again, definitely getting noodles and fried momos!

I can't believe I've never tried this food truck so close to home till recently. Their momos were banging and we absolutely devoured them. The green and red chilli sauces complement the paneer momos very well & we also got their triple schezwan noodles which was delicious. No photos unfortunately because I was too hungry lol. Fair warning that it is street food so expect it to be very greasy and very spicy, but very yummy!

Tried Momo Cook for the first time and really enjoyed the Indo-Chinese food it offers. We had the Chicken 65 which was crispy, flavorful, and had just the right kick. The portion is generous! We also tried the Chicken Chilli Momos which were juicy momos perfectly spiced with a great balance of heat and tang. The service is fast and the food came out hot and fresh! It's a great spot for a tasty and satisfying bite.

TL;DR: - the best momos we've had in Fremont! Don't forget to check in on yelp for a free momo and come packed with foldable bar-height chairs or dressed warmly to fully enjoy the food truck experience. parking: - large and easy parking available. wait time: - a few minutes ambiance: - a very unique and fun outdoor food truck vibe that comes with music, lights, and several fire pits. food: [Worth It] - Chicken Chili Momo: these came out hot, tender, and perfectly seasoned. Despite the name, it is less spicy than sriracha--perhaps on par with black pepper.

Must try for India like atmosphere. My friends and I had chicken chilli momo, egg chow mein, and veg momo. The service was slow but for good reason they made fresh hot momos for us. I liked the tandoori momo but the chowmein was just ok and I didn't like the veg momos. I've had better momos from Everest and urban tadka.

Really love their veg hakka noodles spicy, i can say one of the best street noodles in bay area. Quantity should be more according to the price. Momos were okay too.

I was deeply impressed with this Chowmein. Lots of flavor and huge portion. Definitely had to share. They also didn't skimp out on the meat which is highly appreciated. They are a food truck located near a parking lot. It's lively at night, so it'll make the experience fun.

Happened to be around the Chandni chowk food truck and we're waiting for our turn. Hunger pangs kick in and we ended up buying a box of Paneer Momos. Tasty for sure though the spic level was something that was beyond me and I ended up eating just a couple form the box and my friend who loves hot chili foods grabbed it with both hands. Momos pretty authentic though I think the spice levels should be toned down a bit. Worth a visit and then a repeat cycle :)

Though I prefer my food a little bit more flavorful, Ping's Bistro really shot every single flavor up. The Steamed pork belly with preserved vegetables was served first, and without a doubt, is one of the spiciest. It's a good size for sharing, but the preserved vegetables on the bottom was mushy and came in a very small portion. Though supposed to be a part of the dish, seemed to be thrown in just for some extra flavor. Though I selected mild spiciness for the Spicy Boiled Fish, it was still REALLY spicy. Maybe it's my spice intolerance, but this dish lights a fire in your mouth. Also, this dish is mala, so it numbs your mouth. Some people may enjoy this sensation, but it's a pass for me. The fish was really soft and tender though. The fish was my favorite part of the Spicy Boiled Fish. Not only there is fish underneath, it was surprising to see other ingredients like lotus, vermicelli noodles, and much more. The salted egg covered pork was extremely salty and oily. I was surprised to know it was boneless, and I felt like the salted egg crust is too thin, which let the taste of the pork overthrow any type of salted egg taste. The Country Style Sautéed Pork with Eggs and Black Fungus was again one of my preferred dishes, though it was extremely oily. I really liked the egg, black fungus, and bell peppers in this dish. The eggs and black fungus were soaked with flavor and the bell peppers balanced out the heaviness. The pork was also alright, but more on the tougher side. If you were to come to Ping's Bistro, I would advise you to order the Country Style Sautéed Pork with Eggs and Black Fungus. The floors were really sticky, but other than that, everything was alright. The water was poured messily, but I guess it's no big thing. The staff were really quiet and avoided interaction. When they serve your dish, they never wait an extra second before they leave for any questions or requests. They just drop the dish and zoom away. From my review, just remember: saltiness. I'm not convinced that I'll come back again, but I'm glad I tried it out.

We arrived around 7 PM without reservations. The restaurant was PACKED with several parties one of which was a wedding. Still, we were able to be seated at a table after about a twenty-minute wait. Below are what we ordered: Macau Style Roast Pork Belly ($22.99) - Good, but on the salty side. Steamed Shrimp Dumpling (6 pcs, $16.99) - Yay for Pearl Bay offering these dim sum dumplings for dinner. These are HUGE har gow because there are two shrimp inside. Double yay!! Sweet Corn & Minced Chicken Soup ($18.99) - Velvety smooth and the perfect balance of savoury and sweet from the corn. Sweet & Sour Chicken - I didn't see this in the menu, but I requested for a plate of crispy chicken with a sweet glaze. Our waitress suggested this and said that she ask the kitchen to fry the chicken to a crisp. Although I would have preferred a little more crisp, I was happy with the flavour. Special Deep Fried Tofu ($13.99) - These looked a lot crisper than they were, but I still enjoyed the little cubes of fried tofu. Crispy Spring Rolls (6 pcs, $14.99) - These fried egg rolls were crispy, indeed. The side of sweet and sour dipping sauce were a good complement. Wok Fried Minced Chicken, Diced Fish & Pine Nuts with Lettuce Cup wraps ($23.99) - I heard our waitress ask if we wanted it with chicken, and I didn't taste any fish in the yummy mix. Very nice. Pan Fried Beef & Vegetable Egg Noodle - This was another special order that I requested. Very good. Dad really liked it, too. Deep Fried Sesame Ball - Yummy, but, again, I was looking for more crisp. Service was stellar again. Now that Ho Chow has permanently shuttered, Pearl Bay Restaurant is looking to become my new favourite Chinese restaurant in Fremont.

When you enter and get seated, you will be prompted to go on the url code at the table to pick your items. While I understand that this is the new way for restaurants to serve guests post-covid, the vast menu items you have to scroll through makes me long for physical menus of the past - but that's just my boomer take for the day. There were a bunch of other items like rice and noodle dishes that looked interesting to pair with the meats, but we were only craving bbq so we skipped out on the carbs. We ordered a BUNCH of skewers, from the standard beef, lamb, pork belly to chicken skin and a fried quail. All of the skewers had the same type of dried chili powder spice seasoning mix so unfortunately there wasn't too much of a diversity in flavor profile but on the flip side, it allowed us to focus more on enjoying the meat quality itself (this is where rice or noodles would definitely help cut through the richness). All of the meats were incredibly well-cooked and charred. It is on the drier side, so be aware if you are looking for a juicier, plumper cut of meat that some other restaurants have. Paired with the Chinese vinegar, soy sauce, and chili oil, they were super delectable. My personal favorites were the pork belly, chicken skin, and beef. We had some leftovers to go and the staff provided us some extra sauce to go so that's a big plus. Great food here and definitely will be back to try more of the other menu items for the full experience.

The cuisine is more western China focused with the Chinese hamburger (肉夹馍) and big plate chicken (大盘鸡). Parking is ample in the plaza, and service is very fast. You can see the kitchen and its workflows from the outside, sort of like what you see at Marugame. Spoiler alert, the noodles really are handpulled and the kitchen is very clean! I ordered a Lanzhou Beef noodle soup and Chili Oil noodle. The broth in the Lanzhou noodle was very savory and perfectly seasoned. They also respected my comment for mild spicy, and it was one of the only times I drank almost all the soup since I did not taste artificial powders or too much white pepper. The Chili Oil noodle was also ordered with mild spice, and the noodles were so chewy and perfect, I can't wait to come back here already! We just wished the chili oil noodle had more meats, since there were like only a 2 or 3 slices of beef. Otherwise, portion sizes were also big for the price point, and the quality was beyond my expectations. Since it was our first time here, we were a little cautious and just ordered what we needed. There seems to have some menu change since the last time we came. We ordered 2 dry noodles and a cold spicy pig ears appetizer. The pig ears were piled up with no fillers - something hard to find these days. You can select the type of noodles so I picked the widest while my husband picked the middle one. I love the el dente texture of the noodles giving it a bit of chew. My braised pork belly dry noodles was not dry... very watery which was not to my liking. I want my dry noodles with as little gravy as possible. The flavor was light despite all the gravy, but the veggies and one egg made it up. The house special dry noodles had just the right amount of gravy for taste but not enough ingredients. I was wondering why the restaurant is called One Piece... I guess the entire bowl of noodles is one piece noodle as it was hard to eat as all the noodles are tangled. No complaints here just need to be careful with the splashes on your shirt. Overall the food was good, service was decent as we were offered actual menu instead of only using QR code to order. The place was not small with plenty of table. A bit noise as with all Chinese restaurants.
