Joe is my barber. It took me awhile to find him. I needed someone who could cut black women's hair in the OC. I didnt want to go to LB or LA. Joe listened to everything I wanted and did a superb job. Rarely I write feedbacks. I had really bad experience at this shop, i called during their business hours and asked if I can walk in and the guy answered the phone asked me to come down. Upon arrival I could tell the guy was not happy. As soon as he started my hair cut, he started to complain about me coming toward the end of the day, he was about to leave, had busy day,...to life is getting expensive, hard to catch up.... Another issue that really bothered him when I tried to look at the mirror in the middle of the hair cut, he started to mention that this mirror is his tool to use not for the customers, he indicated that we have the small mirror only. Fast forward, I kept silent to the end, once done he asked asked for $30!!. Any ways, once done, I was about to leave, another guy came in for something else, he started to give him a lesson about coming late...., I realized it was not me, it's him who had zero customer service. First time going into this place and it's gonna be my new go to for a beard trim and hair cut. My friends recommended me to Ricardo cuz he's really good with beards and I'm am thankful for it. I like his fade better than most due to is not to high and he fade my beard into it perfectly. He was able to take me from looking like a wild man to an acceptable member of society with only asking for a beard clean up and a undercut with a fade and to make it look fit me. Made an appointment waited for half hour just to find out they were going to take a walk in first. The whole time she was cutting my son's hair she was on her phone texting. Needed a quick fade, I called up a couple places in the area while I was working and all of them seem to be hesitant on getting me in but when I called the Fade District, they were cool on the phone and squeezed me in even with them having a busy schedule. And Leo hooked it up! Cool dude, down to earth...will hook you up! Atmosphere is really chill, the other barbers a pretty chill as well, the only downside or tip I would give is bring cash. Ricardo is my goto barber as well as my best friend's barber, and I'm glad to have been a regular of his for nearly a year and counting. He recently moved shops and even if it's quite a bit of a farther drive for me, he fails to disappoint. Ricardo's a good guy and will respect your haircut wishes skillfully. Besides having a great barber, the shop itself is clean and spacious and the waiting area is pretty comfortable (couches), but most of the time the wait itself shouldn't be too long. There are TV's around for your entertainment, and all of the barbers I've seen and heard around the shop are very friendly and accomodating to their customers. Parking lot is kind of small, but it has never been a problem, but still, don't be "that" guy and come in late to your appointment. Cut your barber and yourself some slack and get there a few minutes early etc. All in all, this is clean-cut, family friendly barber shop that is worth visiting. read more

My father and little brother have been going to this barber shop for a while and thought I might give it a try. I always go to Great Clips and they do an alright job, pretty good. I was so satisfied seeing the end result, Vincent was amazing. They all seem to be very passionate about their job and they really do make you feel like homies. They do talk and have personal convos out loud but I honestly don't mind at all. I was very satisfied seeing my hair come out fresh. I've been going here once a month for the past 3-4 years, and the highlight of my time there was when I used $1 bills instead of my usually $20s and the owner said "It would be better if they had glitter on them." - basically calling me a stripper. They're usually not very friendly or welcoming to anyone they don't recognize from their social circles, and they usually end up charging those "outsiders" more than they charge anyone else as well. So, you would be paying top dollar (around $30 a haircut) for a subpar haircut. If you want a better experience, go anywhere else or cut your own hair at home, at least you would save money. read more
