I moved to Brevard from Boston and this is the BEST Ahi Tuna I've ever had in my LIFE! The service was quite prompt and very nice. The fish was good (slightly under-seasoned), but the sides were really under whelming. For two entrees and a bottle of wine we walked out for just under $80; we felt it was overpriced and we could probably make a better dish at home. But the servers were quite nice. read more

Had dinner here with my husband and two friends from out of town. Food was OK, nothing extraordinary. Problem was the waitress. She was combative after being questioned about how we were served, loudly and publicly disagreed with us. She sent the bill to us with another wait staff. We asked to speak to the owner and he wholeheartedly supported her. What has become of "the customer is always right?" I swear I have never been treated so rudely by a restaurant staffer, anywhere, ever. We were embarrassed for our friends to witness such poor service. read more

That was a great meal! Tasty and just what we expected plus some added twists. I had the blackened mahi mahi. It was tender and tasty. My wife had the local trout with sweet pecans on top. My mother and ate at Falls last night. I would love to be able to give it a better rating because the food was delicious. My issue was the manager Kim. My mother made an off menu request which the restaurant did not want to accommodate. I understand the restaurant saying no, but the way that Kim spoke to my mother was so patronizing and offensive that I'm shocked she would be allowed to have any sort of customer facing role. My mother chose to stay and spent over $100 on the meal, but I will not return if Kim is on the premises. I live in New York City which is notorious for rude behavior but I expect better in Brevard. read more

Stopped in for lunch. The clam chowder was tasty and good but for 5 really overpriced. I had their drunken shrimp served with mixed greens for 11. The shrimp were smallish and cooked in beer. They were cooked nicely but pretty tasteless. A small portion of salad was on the side with no dressing offered. Frankly a tablespoon of dressing would have saturated the tiny pile of greens. The service was good and the soup was tasty but this place is not a great value or dining destination. read more

Went for dinner while in town to drop off our daughter for camp. I had the salmon. It was good but a little over cooked for me. It came with a side of pasta that was not bad but nothing you could not make at home. The veg was fresh and cooked well. The service was really good and our waitress was attentive without being intrusive. The reason for the 3 stars is the prices. I felt the prices were high for the quality. The Falls Landing is a nice upscale pub in downtown Brevard. Excellent food, top shelf service, and a very friendly atmosphere. Make a reservation if you want to get seated quickly as it is a popular place for dinner. I dropped in unexpectedly and took a seat at the bar. One of the crappiest experiences ever. If you are not going to seat customers 20 minutes prior to your listed closing time, either list the last time you will seat people or say the time you must be seated by to get served. Rude and unapologetic to top it off. read more

Have only been once (October 2017) but if I lived in Brevard would be a regular. Love the atmosphere, the service, the staff, the food. What more can I say? You won't regret it. One of us had the trout and one the taco salad. Both delicious. Just be forewarned: It is a busy, popular spot so allow time to wait for a table. It's worth it. read more

The Mahi Mahi was so delicious. My husband ordered the steak very good also. He ordered shrimp for his app he said the shrimp were the best he had in a long time. We returned for dinner Monday evening... Seemed to have lost our server at one point and got another gal. They seemed short staffed. Two of us ordered burger, both had to be sent back as were very well done. The new burgers, (medium, )were delicious. A gal in our group had the shrimp, said they were just okay, nothing special. The 4th diner said his salad was fine. I'll keep coming for lunch, perhaps skip the dinner. The ambiance just doesn't justify ordering something more expensive like a filet or lamb chops. read more

This seafood restaurant is the most consistent seafood restaurant I have experienced here in WNC. They always have a couple specials but menu is superb and I have never been disappointed. It baffles me why their Yelp rating is so low? I crave going here more than I can afford to eat out, but when I do frequent this restaurant, I have never been disappointed. Their Ahi Tuna sandwich for lunch is to die for and the Salmon they get for dinner is absolutely amazing and their chef is top notch. Also their Mahi was phenomenal, super fresh, perfectly cooked and amazing flavor. I have lived in Miami and Miami Beach for over 40 years and I would put this seafood restaurant up against any in South Florida. This is a true gem to be in the mountains! Also, if you are not in the mood for seafood, their hamburgers are the best in Brevard, NC hands down. Their bar is fully stocked and they always have a good selection of draft beers on tap. Had the clam chowder and cheeseburger. The soup was luke warm and crackers pretty stale and chewy. Not a good start. The cheese burger was to be medium but after first bite was almost raw. I was re-served the same burger after it was re-cooked looking like a hockey puck. Not too keen on being served a raw burger and if the place is too cheap to cook me a fresh burger, well there are other restaurants in Brevard. I have eaten there several times in the past with good results but this was pretty unacceptable. Manager didn't even bother coming over. read more

Beautiful day here in Brevard! My husband and I ordered the bison burger special -- one with fries and one with a side salad. The burger was absolutely delicious! It had pepper jack cheese, bacon mayo, caramelized onions on a fresh baked bun. This is a well priced, local restaurant with a very friendly staff. We will come here again! read more

Trout bland, wahoo over cooked , asked if wanted bread and two slices brought, atmosphere good, oyster appetizer tender served with two bites of greens, side salad ok, risotto cake great, server asked about dinner and was receptive to our comments and comp us an appetizer which was unexpected but kind. I had lunch at The Falls Landing, a restaurant I wanted to dine at for some time. The meal was excellent, as was the server. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted by the hostess who was a black lady of considerable size. I mention size because it is relevant to this review. The hostess wore a very thin and well worn jersey type material dress that looked more like a sleeping gown than a dress; the dress was very thin and clingy. As she moved it clung to and within the crevasses of her body. The dress flipped in and up in the back as she walked, revealing much more of her stocky legs than anyone should want to view. When she bent over to retrieve menus for guests it clung to the curves of her buttocks, which was repulsive. All other employees were dressed professionally, but her poor dress spoiled the meal, especially since she was the first person we met and she consequently formed our first impression of the restaurant. Even though she was not our server she came to our table three times: once to fill our drinks, once to collect our plates, and finally to retrieve our payment for the meal, which included the server's tip. If the owner does not pay attention to each employee's attire, then how much detail does the food get? read more
