Don't trust them. The product was not from the sustainable supplier that it was advertised to be from (no explanation form them on this). The stair steps are a different depth that requires shimming. Also, they didn't accept a return of unused product. I don't recommend. read more

We purchased flooring from The Fantastic Floor and at first, the experience was good. They were helpful in selecting the floor and shipped us samples to help out. The products themselves that they carry are good quality. The problems started once we had paid for the order. We had set it up to be delivered to our house, unloaded onto the trucks lift gate and placed in front of our house. We knew they weren't going to bring them inside, which was a bit frustrating, but we understood. However, once the wood shipped, we were informed that they stacked the pallet wrong, so the trucking company wouldn't be able to use their lift gate. We now had 2 options. Either pick it up at the warehouse (which was an hour away) and we are talking 75 very long boxes of 40lbs each...ya that's not possible. Or they would deliver it, but we would have to unload all of it, OFF THE TRUCK ourselves. I found this to be pretty ridiculous as our contract clearly stipulated that they would lift gate it down and place it on our property. When I expressed concern over this to Nathalie, she basically told me I should just get over it and deal with it. That "things happen and it's all about how we respond to them"...ummm ok. I let her know that I would like to cancel the order if this was going to be the case. She then proceeded to tell me that they would charge a re-stocking fee, laughed at me and hung up on me. WOW... We had our installers already set, so since I'm a younger guy in good shape, my wife and I decided we would do our best to unload all the wood ourselves, what other option did we really have? They also let us know we would only have 45 minutes to do this before the truck would leave...super. I can confidently say that anyone who was not in good shape or had any type of injury what so ever, this would be EXTREMELY dangerous or not possible. We were sweating like crazy and dead tired afterwards. To add on top, Nathalie was supposed to have our trim pieces sent out to us in time for our install. That didn't happen. It was pretty clear to me she forgot and tried to blame it on others (kind of her MO I guess). I showed her the emails she sent me committing to the date they would ship, then saying they were shipping...but she still played it off like I was making it up. Come to find out at the end of this...Nathalie is actually the owner of the company. Sometimes this can be a great thing, but in their case, she should probably let someone else handle customer service. We keep getting asked where we got our floors, because the actual wood is beautiful, unfortunately won't be recommending anyone to Fantastic Floor. read more

I can't say enough good things about Natalie and the team at Fantastic Floor. I was trying to match an existing wood and Natalie went above and beyond to help me find it. She was so quick to respond and reached out to me several times with questions to be sure we were on the same page. I'm positive that I would not have found the perfect match without her help. The flooring was very reasonably priced in comparison to many other stores and TOP QUALITY! The shipping was also superior as well--fast and continued communication. After getting exorbitant quotes from local stores, I heard about Fantastic Floor from someone on a local Facebook group. I am so glad I did!! Rhiannon from Fantastic Floor was very straightforward, patient and super helpful. 5 stars for the product, pricing, customer service and delivery. The LVP product was shipped from the manufacturer to manufacturer's warehouse close to me. It was then delivered to me through a logistics company. Payment to delivery time was 5 days (weekend in between). Driver was kind enough to bring both pallets into the garage so we let it sit there and brought boxes inside as work progressed. All of the boxes were intact and came with plastic wrapping. If I had to find a negative comment to make, I really cannot. Fantastic floor has helped me save thousands without any compromises! Nathalie really needs to not be doing customer support! After giving them the manufactures product code, they sent an acknowledgment with their own product code for a different material. The wrong material was sent and when I called to see what they could do about it, they said it was my fault for not paying attention to the product description in the acknowledgment. Fantastic Floor offered to sell more material and ship it at cost. They appear to never have encountered an angry customer before. If their mission is to help customers find the perfect flooring, they did the opposite with me. read more

I wanted to buy local so I purchased flooring from this company and also took their recommendation on installer. I instructed the salesman in an email message to not order an additional box of flooring if the total sq. footage I was instructed to order was within a few boards of the total sq ft. He disregarded my instructions and ordered an additional box anyway. The installer ended up using 2 boards from the 2 boxes additional plank he told me to order, but I also ended up with one more additional box the salesman ordered. I spent over $300 on flooring I did not need and was told to "sell it online" since the manufacturer would not take back anything less than 5 boxes. I realize I have to eat the cost of the additional 10% over the measured surface because the installer told me to order it, but to just dismiss the money I spent for the additional box shows this company does not place a high priority on customer service. Because I advised them not to order the 3rd box it should have been their responsibility to pay for it. Customer goodwill isn't worth $100 to them? Do business with this store only if you double and triple check everything they do, just as you would buying at a big box store that doesn't have "professional" flooring personnel. I made the mistake of depending on them to order what I requested, not question their paperwork and calculations, thinking I was buying from flooring professionals. The Flooring installer they recommended did not do the job as promised and left me with a gap in the floor to fix myself since I was met with silence when I asked him to "make it right" and do the professional job I paid him to do. He could of simply told me we don't have it, but he went the extra mile and reach out to the company to find my flooring. I heard from him the following day that he had found it! Nathalie started off nice and was accommodating while I explored samples for a small space that would require a small purchase. Once I decided on a product and called her ready to order I sensed an attitude and she was being short with me. When I told her what product, she immediately explained it was NOT readily available and would be several months before this product would be available, this response was immediate and certainly felt as though she jumped to conclusions without checking availability. At this point, I professionally and simply reminded her when we first began this process, you informed me that you would not be sent samples if the product was not available. It was at this time she began to raise her voice and cut me off to explain that my need was very small and they are too busy to keep track of availability and would no longer let me speak as she continued to speak over me. Once I was able to start speaking, she hung up on me. Within minutes I called back twice and was hung up on. I called another company who is a vendor for the brand, they said 7k feet was in stock in stock at the factory, had it 4 days later. I am utterly SHOCKED that this company doesn't have a thousand 5 star reviews! Maybe it's because everyone is busy enjoying their "fantastic floors." :P I recently purchased engineered hardwood floors from Nathalie at Fantastic Floor and HANDS DOWN, this has been the best experience in my remodeling process. Service and pricing are unbeatable. Nathalie was extremely patient with us, amidst our OCD-ness. Every question we had was answered immediately (even when she was on vacation) and thoroughly. I swear, her emails were like dissertations...including references and articles. This is someone that has infinite knowledge of the industry and products; I'm sure she has a PhD in floor-ology. ;) My wife and I were having a difficult time deciding what floors to go with. Through the whole process, Nathalie was very willing to help, even offering to mail us samples for ANYTHING we wanted to see, at no cost. We explained our idea of our ideal flooring and immediately, she sent us a whole slew of suggestions that exactly fit our criteria. We ended up going with one of her top suggestions, Johnson's English Maple Pub Moonshine. We shopped around (online/locally) and got multiple quotes. Nathalie had no problem matching the lowest price and had it shipped to our garage within a few days. Even when I had to order a few more boxes last minute, because our contractor's miscalculation, she honored the same price/sf. and waived the minimum pull fee and ate the fee from the manufacturer for a small order. (Common fee's with any flooring retailer when ordering small amounts). Our flooring is almost finished and looks beautiful. We got exactly what we wanted, with incredible customer service/support, at an awesome price. We're so happy with our experience that we've already recommended them to a few neighbors and friends. Natalie won me over and seemed great and responsive to get my order. I had a lower price closer to home for the same item but the salesman kept adding to the original price (increased delivery fees and then credit card fees, etc) so we found Fantastic Floors as an alternative for the same flooring though a little more expensive. When asked about the wood finish, was incorrectly told it was oil based and not poly coated and that it was from Indonesia and not China. (FF could have been given wrong info as no purpose to lie about this.) Delivery was from a place about 60 miles away, not from their own warehouse or store. Then the nightmare began. Delivery took a week and was loaded on the truck and taken off 4 times. We were told to be home to accept delivery but it never arrived, again and again. Finally they delivered to a local transit station and another company brought it to our place, with fork-lift damage and banged up corners on the flooring. Missed a lot of work waiting for the delivery but never received compensation of an apology. FF and Natalie never took any responsibility and said that the delay was due to their using an unproven delivery company to lower costs to come close to matching the lower price I had - like it was my fault! And for the damaged flooring - several boards broken from a fork lift and others banged on the corners, Natalie said to just trim the edges and use the rest of the board. The boards have beveled ends so if you cut off both ends to remove damage, you no longer have a beveled end and can't use the board. Get a clue! Go install some flooring before you sell it. Overall, I would NEVER recommend this company based on my negative experience. read more

Nathalie at Fantastic Floors has been amazing! I had visited flooring showrooms all over my area and could not find anything to match existing flooring that I had in my downstairs. I really wanted to match the wood both for continuity and because I really love the look of the wood. I happened upon Fantastic Floors via the internet and Nathalie helped me by sending samples from places I saw online and places I hadn't seen online. She knows her suppliers! Although the shipping was costly the overall price of flooring + shipping still came in below the cost of my local dealers. I received the flooring today and it arrived in excellent condition. Fantastic Floors was careful to let me know how to check the flooring upon delivery and how to let the flooring acclimate before installation.
