My family and I attended an event at this venue, and what should have been a fun, memorable…read moreexperience turned into one of the most upsetting and unprofessional situations we have ever dealt with. Moments before Silverstein was about to take the stage, a female employee aggressively confronted us without warning. There was no polite request, no conversation--just sudden hostility and yelling. The supposed "issue"? My six-year-old daughter was on my shoulders while we were standing OFF TO THE SIDE, near the handrail, purposely away from the center so we wouldn't block anyone. We had already watched three bands this way for over two hours without a single problem. No one around us ever complained--quite the opposite. Many people were excited to see a child enjoying her first concert and told us how awesome it was. People were smiling, cheering her on, and taking photos of how much fun she was having. When this employee stormed over and started yelling aggressively, several concertgoers immediately spoke up for us. They told her clearly that my daughter wasn't bothering anyone, wasn't blocking anyone's view, and was just a little kid enjoying the moment. Instead of listening--or acting like a professional--the staff member told these guests to mind their fing business*, loudly and aggressively, right in front of my daughter. My daughter burst into tears instantly. She was terrified and confused and kept saying she didn't understand what she did wrong. This altercation absolutely devastated her, and no six-year-old should ever be treated like that at what should have been a joyful experience. We supported the venue fully--we bought tickets, we purchased food and drinks, and we even paid to have our jackets stored in their cubbies. Despite all that, we were treated with nothing but disrespect and hostility. After being forced to leave the show entirely, I spoke to the young woman at the front desk. She told me directly that this has never been an issue in the past. When I asked to speak with someone in charge, they sent the exact same female security employee who had yelled at us. She walked up smiling--as if she was proud of the altercation or pleased with herself for causing such distress. It was disturbing and completely inappropriate. I later spoke with the General Manager hoping there would finally be some accountability. Instead, he acted as if he didn't believe what happened. He even stated that it was "impossible to post rules or regulations for their events--they just deal with problems as they happen." That attitude alone demonstrates the lack of structure, consistency, or professionalism at this venue. Despite multiple witnesses trying to defend us earlier, he dismissed nearly everything. In the end, he simply pushed a refund at us like that would somehow erase the harm done. A refund does NOT fix this. A refund does NOT erase my daughter's fear and heartbreak. A refund does NOT change the unprofessional, hostile behavior of the staff. In a blind effort to find answers--knowing full well the band was not responsible for the venue's actions--we contacted the band's management. Shockingly, the band's manager responded to us before the venue ever did. That alone says everything about who actually cares about their fans. It says even more that other concertgoers showed more empathy, common sense, and integrity than the venue's own staff and management. I hope this review helps other families understand the type of treatment they may face here. No child should ever leave their first concert crying because of a staff member's deliberate hostility. If the venue cannot handle enforcing rules respectfully, cannot create a safe and welcoming environment for all ages as they advertise, and cannot treat paying customers with basic human decency, then something is seriously wrong with how they operate.

Very personal. Never been in the pit before. I'm an old dog and we stood for four hours watching and the wait before the show. Tuff but worth the closeness. This theatre is very cute and has a nice layout that's easy to navigate where you're going.. I also appreciate the bar with a fair selection of canned drinks and they do a couple themed drinks for the shows. One is typically an Italian soda that can be be made with a shot of vodka or nonalcoholic. I think it would serve them well to add a 3rd option for themed cocktails but I can see why they want to keep it simple for the bar employees who get quite busy on show nights. One down fall is they have no food concessions whatsoever. They put out a small plate of store bought cookies at the bar for intermission but they go super fast... and they are just the Keebler cookies so really nothing all that special so be sure to eat before you come here. The shows they put on are great quality especially the one my fiancé and I went to most recently.. Santa Clause conquers the martians! It's honestly the BEST stage prodution I've seen thus far and I've seen A LOT of amazing theatre productions!! I got a great deal for this show as I volunteered for a day here recently at the box office. When you volunteer they'll give you a free show ticket. I'm not sure if I'll volunteer as a box office attendant here again... while I overall enjoyed it, things did get overwhelming up front at one point and I needed assistance from my supervisor who was helping out at the bar. She definitely gave me a hard time for that after my volunteer shift was up but I do understand her frustration with me, I can't blame her for wanting everything to run smoothly when i forgot how to do a couple tasks that she showed me during training. I recommend being a volunteer for community theatre but unless you are very tech savvy, I'd suggest volunteering as an usher at Boise Little Theater instead as that's much easier and you can still see a show for free. Overall it's a great playhouse and I look forward to returning in the new year!

I will put my words in concrete to let everyone know that this coffee joint has the best Chai and staff, hands down! You can't compete with this shop. They are always on point. Thank you to the two baristas working last Saturday afternoon(7.25). The both of them took such good care of me. They were kind about getting me a non communal lid and straw. I have to be so careful with germs and my new kidney. No hesitation, they provided me what I needed to be safe. Your kindness speaks volumes! And I appreciate you so much for it! I look forward to another chai breve soon! Especially with Fall coming up. That Chai is going to hit different! It's going to be so great!

Our Lattes came fairly quick, maybe 15 minutes at the most. The latte art was exquisitely applied. The latte itself was served in a large ceramic cup. I ordered and paid for an extra shot in each but I'm pretty sure by the weak taste I did not get them. I wasn't watching, I just trusted them. We also ordered two House Granola + Yogurt Bowls that took awhile to come out. They were very different from the standard and usual. There was no fresh fruit or berries but instead a cherry compote. Also added was some almond butter, honey, and a bit of cinnamon. Thrown on top were some chia seeds. The granola was sparse and of no added taste, but perhaps a bit of texture. Although not what I expected the resulting concoction tasted very good, even though my wife didn't find it as appealing. The portion size is huge. I would order this again without remorse. The ambiance is of a very busy and active hub of diverse groups. The audible level of many many conversations was party like.

There was a 20 minute intermission for the singer and band members to take a break. Of course we headed to concessions to grab a drink. It was nice how they had it set up. The line went really fast and guests were being helped at a great pace. We were able to get our goodies and head back to our seats pretty quickly. I know there are a lot of events that happen here.
