We made a reservation yesterday for Sunday brunch and had an excellent time. We were prepared to pay a pretty penny based on what we read online. Adults are $45 a person with no drink included. Kids are $22 and under 4 is free. It was my husband and I plus our two kids. The restaurant was quiet and clean. There were several other patrons already eating. The hostess was friendly and told us both kids would be eating for free that morning. This was a pleasant surprise because even though our girls are older they don't eat much. We relayed this to the waiter who was happy to oblige. The food was all so fresh and delicious with a huge selection of fresh food. The fruit was sweet and delicious. The omelette bar and fresh oysters was a nice touch. The shrimp and grits were delicious. They had waffles, bacon, potatoes, salad, and fruit. Just the two adult meals, with waters and two chocolate milks cost us $96. If you can eat and put away some plates this is a great option. I did want to mention that the service charge was already added (18%). I thought that was interesting with the size of our party but never the less it was fine. The area near the entrance was heavily occupied, so we asked to be seated in the room where the bar was at the very back. It was quiet and isolated there. We were seated by the fireplace and immediately served. The ambience was cozy perfection & had plush immaculate seating. There was a choice of tables with chairs or couches & upholstered chairs with tables to dine & be served. The menu was very impressive. I asked for recommendations and was torn between what to select. I chose the Crab à la vodka with handmade pasta and ordered an Italian Wine White Flight: Pinot Grigio | Moscato | Vermentino. My husband selected a hand tossed pizza, the Holler pizza. We were very pleased with the food we ordered and tasted. It went beyond our highest expectations in ambience, service, and food. They do give military discount if you have military ID. The food was very plentiful, and we had the rest put in takeout containers. Overall, 5 out of 5 stars. It has been many years since a restaurant has highly impressed me as much as this restaurant has to such an extreme. What a wonderful happy hour experience on a Tuesday at The Farmhouse Tuscan. I sat in Joshua D's section and he was both knowledgeable about the menu and quite attentive throughout my dining experience. I ordered the Howler Pizza, which includes pepperoni and sausage, finished with hot honey. A thin crust, quality toppings, and a good (half) price for happy hour. The ambiance is so cool and relaxed. The tunes in the background varied and included jazz, R&B, and yacht rock. Plus, the side of the restaurant with the comfy chairs is so relaxing and inviting. It gives a feeling of home and a chill vibe. Plus, now that the weather is getting warmer, their patio is a lovely, fresh air option. First time coming and it was 50/50. The waiter was nice and a lady that seemed to be the manager was very nice as well. It was very quiet for a late night dinner. The salad we order was warm which was a bit weird. The lasagna didn't have any meat so for 21$ that was a bit expensive. My wife and I were out shopping and felt like some fresh pizza so she looked up options and found this Italian restaurant. Driving up I questioned whether it was open or not since it looked abandoned but then saw someone going inside to confirm its status. There was sufficient parking to the front of the restaurant as it's situated in a plaza with other businesses. We were greeted promptly by the hostess who introduced herself and brought us to our table. I thought that was a nice gesture to introduce herself and welcome us. The restaurant appeared to have a seating area with tables and a more casual environment with sofas, bar, and live music. The live music wasn't visible to us until we were leaving and explored what was on the other side of the restaurant. We ordered a pizza to share and decided to get an appetizer to add. Two complimentary bread rolls were brought to the table which we enjoyed although later I found it odd they would be serving rolls instead of Italian bread or bruschetta at an Italian restaurant. The dipping oils they provided was the highlight. The Holler pizza, $18 didn't wow me. It was as advertised though- spicy sausage and hot honey. If you appreciate spicy and sweet pizza, then this one particular pizza is for you. It wasn't bad, but it's just not what I was looking for in the end. One thin pizza fed both my wife and I. We also ordered the Smashed Potatoes, $10 which didn't wow either one of us to the point we let the server know. It's essentially a basket of whole small, salted baked potatoes with a side of dipping sauce, not quite what we were expecting. We even tried to dip it in the oils that came with the complimentary bread to season it up a little bit which did help. We determined it wasn't worth the carbohydrates to eat it and left it. My wife told the server it was not good and the server didn't do anything beyond remove it from the table and charge us the cost of it. I was decently impressed- would NOT recommend for celiac folks but for gluten intolerant people there are great options. I loved the fresh squeezed watermelon juice in my tequila and the steak tips salad was incredibly fresh flavorsome and generously sized !! The accidentally brought me a regular pizza VS the gluten free one I ordered and luckily I realized it- and they switched it out. The chocolate cake was decadent and the outdoor seating really lovely. Just dinging a star as service was really lovely but "young". They didn't have the wine one of our diners ordered and her meal was halfway done by the time they brought it out, and we were confused why they wouldn't have rushed it as it was their own delayed realization. Just like all the reviews say, the food is great and service is wonderful. The atmosphere is just lovely too. We had the minestrone soup, a fried eggplant, appetizer, and a sea bass entrée. Plenty of food for two people. Everything was wonderful. Everything was hot, presented well, and very tasty. Could not ask for anything more. The prices were even quite reasonable with portions good, considering today's cost of things. The only thing I would ding them on is the bread. Lovely display when they brought it out accompanied with oregano, olive oil, and Parmesan Reggiano on a plate, but the bun was not that great. Small issue. Will definitely not stop me from going back. This place is not anywhere near my home, but I'm definitely making a trip back. It really is lovely and the food and service fantastic. What a shock for a place in a strip mall. Once you get in though, the decor lets you forget that you're in a strip mall. Apparently , they also have live music at times. The inside has a nice wood panel, comfortable upscale vibe, and when we were there, it was not busy and we were seated immediately, and the server was very attentive. I will mention that this is not a super cheap spot. For example, I had the crab a la vodka: pasta, fresh crab meat, asparagus corn, basil, with a rosé sauce and it was $32. We spent around a $100 on a very luxurious lunch. They give you bread and dipping sauce, which was delicious and I highly recommend digging into some of that. We also got some of those fancy Saratoga bottles of water. It could be just me, but I thought the strawberry lemonade was way too sweet and couldn't drink more than a sip - if you don't like it super sweet - avoid! The appetizers we had were excellent: I really liked the steak bites ($16), fritto misto fried calamari ($22) and absolutely loved the char-grilled octopus ($22)! This restaurant is a great place for a quality meal without having to head into the city. Once you enter, you're in a completely different environment than what you would expect coming from a shopping center restaurant. The menu has lots of great options and we haven't had a bad thing yet, except for maybe the "smashed "potatoes which really didn't seem very smashed at all... instead, they were just small potatoes. My wife and I got a good chuckle out of that. The best deal coming out of this place has to be the pizza specials during happy hour, at the bar area only. They have live music from time to time, and as mentioned before the environment is very cozy with a fire pit and very comfortable seating arrangements throughout. Initially, server was slow-- took a long time to get water, a long time to get a glass of lemonade, and a basket of bread. Another server came to help out and our service picked up. Several staff members came over to check on us throughout our meal. Mom said the fish was good, but lacked seasoning. It was accompanied by the smashed potatoes (surprisingly, they're not mashed potatoes, rather sliced small whole potatoes) and sautéed mushrooms. We had the crispy eggplant and the ragu-- they were both good, but I would've liked them more seasoned. I don't really drink alcohol but I'm not spending that much on a single can. The young men at the hostess stand asked me if I wanted a seat in the bar or a table. I said I wanted a table and they still sat me in the bar. While I love live music, it was too loud, especially in the bar area. My waitress was extremely kind and friendly but it look over 30 minutes to get a box and my bill after I was done eating. While the food was good, I won't be back between all of the above. Customer Service was sharp from start to finish. We had a hiccup with one order, but the service took immediate accountability and remedy the situation expeditiously. It's so much better than Black Wall Hitch which I visited the night before; their service is still good, but the food quality has went down and the prices have went up. What a pleasant surprise when the front doors open up and your eye immediately catches the dark wood tones and high back leather chairs. To the right was a lounge and bar area with a fireplace. To the left was the main dining room. We were seated at a table and greeted fairly quickly. The menu had many options from sandwiches to entrees which included steaks, pork chops and pasta. We split a wedge salad that was full of blue cheese and bacon. It was pretty good and large enough for two. Since it was lunch time I went with sausage and peppers ciabatta. This was excellent as the melted cheese wrapped around the Italian sausage and peppers. The ciabatta held together well given the sauce and sausages. Fantastic sandwich and very filling. My wife had a pasta dish that she really enjoyed and could not finish. The pasta dish also had ground Italian sausage and sliced sausage. For a new restaurant everything went very well and it is nice to have an upscale restaurant in this area. We will be back often. read more

A year ago I gave a 5 star review oh how things have changed. Went Saturday night around 7:45pm. Place was empty! Sat at bar (only customers there) took almost 10 minutes before a bartender came over. One male bartender was there but doing busy work. The female seemed friendly enough but was slooooow. By 9:30 we had two drinks and empty water. Left and may not return for a date night. Not worth being ignored for $15 a drink.
