Went for the first and last time on Friday about 1:00 pm. Ordered a raspberry ice tea. Received plain unsweetened. I was just going to add sugar when the waiter returned to take our order and we asked about the ice tea. He suspected they had hooked up the wrong tank...went to check. Food came. Returns to say out of raspberry ice tea. I said ok, I'll just add sugar. He says, we have sweet tea. Okaaayyy. Can you bring that then?‍ On to the food. I ordered prime rib sliders. The grilled onions were missing. The meat was tasteless and fatty and the au jou was like brown water, cold and no flavor at all. Didn't look or taste like prime rib to me. I worked my way through two of the three sliders and gave up. Dry, no flavor whatsoever. $30 for a barely edible meal. I will never go back. I should have taken a picture. I want to give a SHOUT OUT to the staff at The Fat Frog for saving our family's baby shower this past weekend. We originally reserved a Ramada at Goldwater Lake, with plans to order catering from somewhere else but had to scramble for a change of venue last minute due to the weather. On a day's notice, Richard, the manager, arranged for us to use their back room and we met with the kitchen manager to set up buffet-style appetizers and a salad bar. The event very well - the back room was the perfect size and we were able to have some privacy from the rest of the space. Lindsay, our server, provided incredible service as did the rest of the staff. After all was said and done, this ended up being a more affordable and enjoyable option than our original plan. Our friends and family (most of whom came up from Phoenix) said they loved the food, the atmosphere, and want to visit the place again someday. Perhaps what's most important is that the Fat Frog saved my wife lots of unnecessary stress, which we both genuinely appreciate at this stage of her pregnancy. If you haven't tried this place yet, GO. You won't regret it. read more

Went to Fat Frog tonight 7/19/26 Sunday and ordered a Ruben Sandwich and was expecting a good sandwich done correctly and it was terrible they did not cut the meat right and it was way too greasy and the fries were way to cooked. Just an fyi I had a Ruben about 2 weeks ago on a Tuesday for lunch and the meat was cut right and not falling out of the bread and was not greasy and it was good so why was it so bad tonight? We had a reservation for 20, with a time limit to get somewhere. Started a bit worrisome because we weren't seating on time, but once we were, our server Lindsey was hot on it! This would be the second time we dined at the once augies now the fat frog. And once agin our meal was good and made well. Flat breads are something to try. And they have one of my favorite things,pork belly bites. Cooked perfectly and delicious if i may say so myself. The menu is filled with good selections and our server was positive and came over to my table a few times to see how we were liking our entries and asked if there was anything else that she could get for us. I recommend this eatery and I'm glad that the food matches the open air seating. read more

We have visited Prescott several times over the years and thought about stopping to try The Fat Frog which is right on Hwy 69. Finally tried it this trip and it was worth the stop, ...should have eaten here the first time we drove by. I had the Ruben sandwich, yummy and my wife had the Prime Rib French Dip, also yummy. Meat to bread ratio is great. We will defiantly be eating here next time we are in Prescott. read more

Arrived at about 4:45 on a Thursday. Friendly greeting and prompt seating, and server arrived shortly after. Decent selection of tap beers and bottles, plus full bar and n/a options. Appetizers came out promptly, hot and fresh. Server was attentive and prompt with drink refills. Entrees came out after appetizers were finished; food was hot, fresh, and delicious. Been here several times and always enjoyed my selections. Staff are very nice and attentive. TV screens aplenty for sports fanatics but they aren't distracting if you're looking to just converse with your dining companions. Has an open, airy feel to it with a comfortable, large, outdoor covered patio that welcomes dogs. It's our go-to eatery now. read more

Stopped here to meet up with family in Prescott as this place is big enough for larger parties. The service was quick and our hostess was kind and friendly. Gives you that typical sports bar vibe but is well kept and clean compared to some other sports bars I've been too. Portions were generous and the food came out very quick after ordering. I was so hungry that I forgot to grab photos of my food. The appetizers and burger that I had were good but not star worthy or super memorable in some way. I would recommend stopping here if you want to catch a sports game with a clean place to grab some food. read more

Just tried the Fat Frog, really enjoyed, and will definitely be a go-to place. They converted the building into a sports bar with a nice big Arizona-style patio. We went for a late lunch on a nice day, and there were more people on the patio than inside. The bar is open to the patio, with bar seating inside and out. There are a lot of tables on the patio, and they were maybe two-thirds full when we went. Lots of TVs, and the inner part of the patio has heaters and appears to have roll-down clear plastic to keep out the wind and cold when needed. The menu is pretty standard sports bar food: appetizers, salads, flat breads, burgers, and sandwiches. My wife had the turkey club with sidewinder fries, and I had the chicken sandwich with onion rings. Both were very good with generous portions. And the prices are fair - about $14 for each sandwich with side. Looking forward to returning to try some other items. Service was prompt, and friendly. We did not have to wait for our initial drink order, and our server came by to check on us several times. And once we ordered food, it came out within about 10-12 minutes. Also note they did allow us to bring our dog on the patio. Our server told us that technically the policy is service animals only, but that they are letting that slide. We did see one other group with a dog on the patio. This is great news for those of us who like to bring our dogs with us! I hope Fat Frog continues to allow and encourage this. Returned back to fat frog for another try, second time was much better, Alivia was our server and she was great! We sat inside and were greeted with in 5 minutes ordered wings and beers, beers were out quick and wings were out with in 10 minutes. They were good, ordered our food it was not bad for bar food sides were a little cool not hot and my bun was cold but all and all it was a much better experience this time. These are simple things that can just be asked for in the future like a warmed bun etc. read more

So, this establishment is a hit and miss for good service. Tonight, was a big miss. The bartender kept pacing by m on the third pass she then notice I had nothing in front of me. No water, no beverage. Jaime, (bartendar) took my order gave me the wrong beer which is half my fault and when bring my burger to me the egg that I wanted for protein was missing and was delivered later. We went to the Fat Frog last Friday and we were seated immediately in the heated patio. Enjoyed the view and the heater kept us comfortable. The server was great and provided quick service and good recommendations. We enjoyed the fried fish dinner as well as Asian bbq wings and pretzel bites. All the food was amazing! The Fat Frog had an excellent array of drinks as well. We enjoyed their house red and blonde beers brewed for them by a San Diego brewery. Very tasty! I would absolutely return to The Fat Frog the next time I'm in Prescott. read more

Went Monday for the prime rib at $22.95. It was good, but getting what you order the first time was quite a task. Server didn't ask how we wanted it done - came out okay cooked medium. We ordered a chips and beer cheese appetizer with the standard salsa and $2.00 extra for guacamole. We had to ask again for the salsa and the guacamole was literally spoiled. We ordered baked potatoes - one without butter, both with sour cream. We both got no butter and had to ask again for sour cream. The server asked if we wanted raw horseradish and the milder sauce version. We said both, but did not get any sauce version. The details on the check indicated our choices incorrectly. Simple specific details were not noted anywhere. We could easily see that several of the servers need significant training on how to perform the basics of their jobs. read more

Visited this new establishment recently for dinner on a Monday with friends. When we arrived, the parking lot was packed but, we were lucky enough to find a parking spot. Upon entering and locating our party, I loved the environment and atmosphere of the place. They have both indoor and outdoor areas with many televisions on the walls which is great for sports enthusiasts. The menu had a pretty good selection from appetizers, salads, hamburgers, pizzas and more. They have a bar with a good selection of libations. The staff here were really friendly, attentive and made sure you were satisfied. I really liked the fact that this place is good for adults as well as families with kiddos. I can see why this place is so popular. Will definitely be back again!! read more

Mixed feelings on our first visit to the Fat Frog. The property was very clean and really felt like a Sports Bar/Eatery. The outdoor patio is very spacious and covered (I really like the outdoor patio area). To be fair they have only been open a few weeks. The staff is very uniformed, we had questions about the menu, availability at the bar, & Happy Hour that could not be answered. I also did not like the fact that the bar menu didn't have any prices, yet another question our waitress couldn't answer. We ordered several different appetizers and they were all very good. We will definitely be back. Hopefully before our next visit they add pricing to the Drink menu and have a few specials for Happy Hour read more

When our server finally showed up, we gave her our drink order, He had a beer and I had a margarita - she never asked if I wanted another brand of tequila or anything. when she came to take our order, she wouldn't even acknowledge my boyfriend, and she was rude.
