Madilyn came and got my drink order. I went with no appetizers as I was getting extra sides. I ordered the 3-meat plate with ribs add-on. Requested the sausage, sliced brisket, smoked ham, and a couple of baby back ribs. The sides were pinto beans, potato salad, hand cut fries, and Tchoupitoulas Gumbo. The wait was not too long, better than average. Presentation on the plate was nice. Check the photos. All the meats and sides were great, very tasty. I absolutely loved the hand cut fries, they were seasoned just right. The real surprise for me was the cup of Tchoupitoulas Gumbo. It was quite delicious. I'm definitely going for the larger gumbo meal next time. All kinds of cool things adorn the walls and hang from the ceiling. Above average noise with all the different conversation volumes. Very clean and lit for character (night). Madilyn and Trinity were the best tonight. They helped to make the experience enjoyable. I'll definitely be returning.

My meal was tasty....Yummy !!! I drive from Wichita at least twice a week to eat Chicken Fried steak. You can't get anything like it around here. The review from Tiffany was way off .The staff is EXTREMLY friendly , the owner Zac made a trip by our table to introduce himself and gave us a coupon for our next trrip. Which by the way i have never had that done in Wichita .My husband and i eat out all the time. The interior was awesome very clean. I looked at their scores from the health department online. Dont ya think if they werent clean that they would have scored lower than a 97 on their reviews. Just saying. I will KEEP telling everyone i see how awesome The Feedlot is doing. Due to my line of work I travel a lot and I have to say that The Feedlot is some of the best home cooking I've had yet. It make reminds me a lot of my mom's cooking growing up. The portions are huge! The wait staff was friendly and attentive. The rustic design gave it a flare that haven's seen in any other restaurant.Every time I looked around something different caught my eye. First as 'Subs n Subs' then Deli Planet. The consistent thing has been Eric Rutledge. He's been serving me since my first visit in 1986. Bob did an awesome job with hiring this guy. All the employees over the years have been fantastic and have always treated me like family. Always greeted with hugs and smiles. The one big change in all the years that turned this place into a powerhouse business is when Eric married Becca and this true power couple became one. Legends in the local restaurant business! The food always top-notch and very consistent from visit to visit. The place is always clean. All the employees seem to really enjoy their working here, which translate to a great atmosphere. I really love dining here and reflect back fondly on all that have crossed my path while dining here. Especially when I think back to all those that this place gave me a permanent friend like Samantha Ellis Stanley. The thing is, I get it but account for when things happen unexpectedly. My girlfriend also mentioned that the bathroom toilet was broken and did not flush. Honestly, I can't give a recommendation based on the food. Other reviews say great things about it, that's why I went. I told them that too. The two ladies she has working for her though were helpful, especially the dark skin queen cashier she was a vibe. Until the inconvenience on both of our ends, it was decent off the cashier's vibe.
