Visited here recently for a pedicure and my first attempt at getting gel nails. I was greeted as soon as I walked in and only had to wait a few minutes before being escorted to the pedicure chair. No real complaints on pedicure... wish she could have been a little firmer with the foot rub, but she did a good job. My manicure and gel nails took forever. I was kinda annoyed at that. I don't know... is 2 hours typical for getting pedicure and gel nails? Maybe so. My biggest complaint is after spending all that money, my nails started chipping 5 days later. Update: I received an acrylic fill in on my natural nails. It has not been 2 weeks and I've gone back to get one nail repaired because the acrylic broke off and I wanted to save my natural nail. After getting that nail repaired 2 nails completely broke off, the nail I just had repaired chipped again and another nail chipped. Of course I'm frustrated because my natural nails are broken. Mind you I do not do any extensive work and they broke while doing nothing. I feel like they may have changed product or have slacked on the quality of service....unfortunately I will have to lower my rating. ************* Original Review: Back in GA again and needed to have my nails done before heading to NY. I checked Yelp reviews and after checking out this businesses Facebook page I decided to come to this establishment. I came in at 2:25 and no one greeted me. I walked to the counter and still no one greeted me. I looked at the clipboard and assumed that I just write my name and services needed. I waited 45 mins before being acknowledged. I watched another lady who came in after me leave because no one even said anything to her. It was also her first time visiting the establishment. Two ladies came to me within 10 minutes (after waiting an hour) to ask what services I wanted. I then waited another 15 minutes before being serviced. While sitting here I noticed free WiFi is available and they require $10 in order to use a credit card. There are no price listings and I saw a couple people ask about pricing for services. All that being said Nora did my nails and I loved them. I had my gel polish removed from my natural nails and acrylic added and they are perfect. I had a great conversation with Nora and she apologized for my wait as soon as I sat at the bar and thanked me for being patient and waiting. All I can say is be prepared to wait. Which is never my strong suit for good service, but I decided to give this place a try anyway. It's located in a suite, which seems to stay quite busy. The staff seem friendly and they work dilegently to provide good services for their client. Overall, I was pretty satisfied with services. For all you ladies who enjoy being your nails done regularly, expect to pay higher prices. My nail tech was Chin. I was recommended here by girls who work at the children's dentistry. They told me to come in and that they would give me what I asked for. Broken glass etc..so I went to try it... Once there I asked for confetti on my ring finger instead I just got glitter nail polish. Lady says she can't do confetti for some reason!! How to get what you ask for at nail places when they refuse. I didn't mind paying ?? Found this place while searching for a Nail Salon here on (you guessed it) Yelp!!!! Thank you yelpers for your reviews.. I went to check this place out and it was spot on!!! Now for my review: When was the last time you went to a moderately priced nail salon and was offered complimentary bottled water? Exactly!!! Never!!! I liked that , very nice touch! The place is very clean which is what you what from a nail salon. I'm very picky about who I let handle my feet. .......Flat screen TV's so you can watch TV while you are getting your work done (let's be honest, getting pretty takes work) Wendy did my feet and is very personable. What I liked the most is that she listened to what I wanted and did exactly that. You would be surprised how many times I've been to nail salons where they have done their own thing when I clearly stated otherwise. Now here's the interesting thing that I noticed on the nail menu: They host nail parties and they allow you to bring your own catering and entertainment as long as it is legal.... Now this is cool, because I know a DJ personally (if you need one too,I can hook you up) and if I want to have a party I can do that!!!! I called to tell inquire about the SNS and the Gel mail prices because my nails are strong and have only gotten regular manicures from this salon over the YEARS. I was told just come in no appointment needed when I asked. I sat for almost an hour and finally was told that although they were practically empty and several manicurist were standing around talking that the only two manicurist who did SNS dip powder were the only two actually working at the moment on other customers, I walked out. This is the second time since Covid ended that I have been in and walked out bc they're slow. They were better before and during Covid. I brought my adoptive mom a gift card to them and she walked out too bc they were to slow!! I work in Austell and anyone who knows about Austell knows it's not the best. Very low end for the most part so I searched around before selecting this one to check out. It was recommended to call ahead to schedule an appointment so I tried to twice- no answer either time. Then it came time for lunch break and off I went. When I got there I as told it was about a 25 minute wait so I left - I would have made an appointment had someone answered a phone. Honestly I would have walked right out anyways.. very not my personal style. This place might be "hip" but definitely not a relaxation kind of place. If you have "standards" like me just don't get your nails done in any Austell salon, drive a few minutes to Kennesaw or Smyrna. read more

They are really nice. But niceness isn't always what is needed I got my nails painted white and was told they would last at least a week before they start changing colors and getting dirty. Then I was told if they change color just use acetone to clean them. 2 days after I left they were dirty. And then to add onto the joy... my nail nail chipped. Why toe nail never chips. When I called they just said "um yeah there is nothing we can do about it. A color change is 25$" Nope. Nope. Nope Nice people. But that was my first and last time there. read more

By far the worse pedicure/ manicure I have had in my life. See attached photos. I literally took those when I walked out of the salon. Poorly polished toes, hardly polished toes.. huge spot missing on big toe and my nails... not sure what she did to them other than scratch them up. My pedicure was quick and I paid for the "luxury." Was little to no massage and I honestly wouldn't have complained about that if they were at least polished nicely. Having to get them RE-DONE on the same day is just not acceptable. Save your money and go elsewhere. read more

This is a first - updating and update. Over the past 3 or 4 weeks - I had tried 'dropping in' and they were too busy to accommodate me. Due to my schedule - I wasn't able to actually make an appointment - but I found it odd that I wasn't even offered one. Have seen this happen to other customers a lot (they don't seem to realize they're missing the boat here). So the other day - I realized I had about 4 hours free - so I called an asked if they could see me. Ree said they could and I drove right over (they are within walking distance of my home). When I walked in - as I was signing in - Linda shouted across the room, "HEY! Did you get my message?" I walked over and said, "No . . . . my phone is at home on the charger? What's up?" She went on to tell me that they were out of latex free gloves and she was going to ask me to pick some up. Um . . . okay. So I wind up getting a pedicure - with no massage, no scrub, etc - because I can't have prolonged contact with latex. When I get ready to check out - I ask Linda if she's offering any sort of discount because I wasn't able to get full pedicure, and she chuckles uncomfortably and says, "No . . . um . . . I told you in advance that we didn't have latex free gloves." I said okay. Life's too short to argue with idiots. I left without becoming 'disgruntled' and just vowed to never go back. Maybe I'm being overly-sensitive - but I equate this with calling to make a reservation at a restaurant - and being called back to ask to bring your own knife and fork. And since they weren't able to reach you - once you physically arrive - you're told you can't have a steak because you they're out of knives and forks. And now you can only order a dish that can be eaten with your hands like a burger or chicken tenders. And on top of all that - you're not offered any sort of discount. I might not have been a 'big money' client - because I don't wear artificial nails and I'm not a fan of airbrushing and jeweled nails - but I HAD been going to them pretty consistently for the last few years. And I always got the basic french pedicure - or solid color. And my feet aren't 'busted' - lol - no corns, bunions, cracked heels or thick yellow toenails. :-) A quick client that tipped well (except on that day). In fact, I used to keep a box of latex-free gloves in my trunk. They would sometimes melt together in from the heat during summer months. Lol. But as latex allergies became more and more common, I found that practice unnecessary, as most salons just by latex free instead. But that little episode last time was the proverbial straw that broke this camel's back. They've lost me as a customer forever. read more

If there something you need just ask. I suggest people ask about the prices ahead of time so they aren't surprised (even though prices are posted) - I've seen some folks flip out. I gave this nail salon this rating because the woman who did my pedicure did a good job. The manicurist was frustrated from the moment I sat down. She sighed heavily at least 20 times and got angry when I told her the colors of my hand and feet did not match - which I asked to have white. I ended up with a putrid honey dew shade. She got the white shade and tried to add some coats - through her disgusted sighs and shady eye rolls. She did not add oil to my hands when done and spoke in her language rolling her eyes again. I cannot say enough good things about this salon!! I have been visiting here twice a month for almost a year. Lee is so talented, sweet and accommodating of all my needs. I had a crazy work schedule through the holidays and she always worked around my schedule making sure I could always get an appointment, even if it meant her coming in on a day off. The deluxe pedicure is immensely relaxing, and my nails always look on point. The ladies are professional, the salon is always clean, and we always have a great time. Ugly Nails - Horrible Customer Service! Went on the recommendation of my two daughters and some of their friends, who ALL have GREAT looking nails. They seated me right away and I was taken care of by the older woman in the shop who SHOULD NOT be doing nails! I wanted a full set of acrylics in matte black with a silver stripe across the nail. The product she used for the stripe was faulty and wouldn't work and the way she applied the color caused it to be uneven in tone making my nails look splotchy. At no time did she ever use a drill file to shape my nails and instead only used a block buffer. Because of this my nails were bumpy and uneven. I had product all over my fingers and it was slapped on and not filed away near my cuticles. 2.5 hours later I was STILL in the chair. I finally asked to speak to a Manager and was told none was in the building. I then requested that one call me the next day and I was assured one would call. Three days later, I'm still waiting for that phone call..... I went to a different salon to fix the disaster that this woman created on my nails, and the entire staff was laughing at how awful the "craftsmanship" was. The owner/manager should be embarrassed by the work this woman does and keep her away from customers. read more

The best nail salon I've been to in a loooonnnnggg time!! The nail bar has only been open about a month now but this is definitely going to be my new place to go! Very clean, the manicurists/Owner are very nice! I love the neon green modern interior and the pedicure chairs ( the bowls you put your feet into have this brown glass...very nice..) It was very relaxing to just sit back and be pampered while getting one of those chair massages while watching movies on their flat screen TV and sipping on a drink. They also have a "frequent buyer" type card where when you reach $200 in services you get a $10 service or $10 off a service, They also give you points which counts towards your $200 when you bring in a friend or refer people to come. I ended up leaving with a cute pair of pedicure flip-flops, a nail file and buffer to bring back with me on my next visit.My total was $22. I absolutely love this place! I found them by chance. I was driving home after dropping my grandson off at daycare and decided to get my nails and pedi done nearly 2 years ago. I love the atmosphere and everyone who works there is so kind. My daughter and I go every 2 weeks for gel polish. I have gone up to a 4 weeks with my gel polish without them peeling. Also be sure to try their jelly pedicure! I also have noticed that there is not a huge turnover - still the same staff which alone says they must me doing something right! read more

I was excited to find a nail salon close to my home with good Yelp reviews! I headed over to The Fifth Nail Bar as part of a relaxing pamper day. In accordance with my mood, I got the all inclusive mani/ pedi experience; the gel soak, mask, scrub, everything package. Cost around $50 if I remember correctly. Some parts of the service I loved like the gel soak which I will definitely get the next time and other parts like the scrub, I'd pass on. I also think all the focus was on the pedi and the mani ended up being very basic. The overall service and experience was good though. I come here regularly to get my nails done and I never have a problem with my nail service but the customer service is terrible. Every time I walk in i get stared at like I don't belong and it always takes someone 5 minutes to even greet me and it's not like there super busy to the point they can't speak because they look at you when you walk in the door. read more

I had the pleasure of going to this salon on Saturday. I was quite happy with the atmosphere and service I received which was a pedicure. The salon is clean and spacious. The staff was friendly. When I signed in and they realized it was my first time there they gave me a menu(in a real menu pouch) of services. Once I chose my color I was sat a station promptly. I was offered water. My manicurist Kim did a great job. There are 2 flat screen tv's for your viewing pleasure. They also give you the file and buffer used during the service. I LOVE that...no passing of germs. I mentioned it to the girl who was doing my pedi and she said oh it will come off when you wash your hands! I came at lunch time and was seen immediately. I got a mani with gel nail polish and a pedi. Both women did great work. They have a wide variety of gel nail polish colors to choose from and they helped me find a regular polish for my feet to match the color I chose for my hands. I will definitely be back.
