Went last night after yet another Christmas party. It was fun, I love the free popcorn in the back, and they have pool tables. It is absolutely a neighborhood bar, no pretentions here. However, the bartender had a bit of attitude, kept freaking out when a kernel of popcorn got onto the pool table and was in general, pretty stressed out. I like how they have so many chairs, play decent tunes, and that there were FOUR rolls of toilet paper in the girls stall, all on individual toilet paper holders. Even on a busy night, you wouln't be left without a square or two. This isn't a destination bar, but if you are in the neighborhood, want a beer or to play pool, Final Final is a great option! read more

Whatever you do, don't eat here. Sure, I know I should blame myself for eating here, but seriously, they microwave everything. I watch a LOT of college football here (big 10 fan, games start at 9am Pacific), and I made the mistake of ordering bagels here once. I think he microwaved the bagel. I'm not joking. He also microwaved the cream cheese. The bald guy (Arnie, I think) is just plain hormonal. Its hard to tell how pleasant he's gonna be, or whether he's gonna put your game on. The first time I walked into the Final Final I knew that I found my new neighborhood bar. Some of my reasons were 1. Two Pool Tables 2. Ample TV's 3. 20 Beers on Tap 4. Great weekend crowd - not to many MD's 5. Minnesota Vikings Bar (The Vikings part made this an easy sell for me) This is probably one of the betters sports bars in San Francisco. With ample seating, and roughly 15-16 TV's, its a great place to get lost on a Saturday or Sunday. Only drawback.......not a lot of food options. They do, however, have a killer hot dog, hot link or Polish Sausage for $3.50. (when you order, ask for the nacho cheese - its quite tasty) The wings are tasty as well. read more

Not full of frat boys looking to fight you, so its got that going for it. If it wasn't stationed in the Marina, it would probably grow a bit more divey, which, would be an improvement. As a new resident to the great city of San Francisco I decided to try to meet new people by signing up with a softball league by myself. The first couple of games were fun, but I felt slightly awkward playing on a team with a bunch of strangers. A few games into the season, we started meeting up at Final Final for a few post-game beers. The Final Final provided a cozy and homie atmosphere which was perfect for bonding with my Softball teammates. The popcorn fed our hungry apetites and the pitchers of beer were bountiful. Final Final was a great conduit for bonding with my soon to be championship softball league teammates and getting to know some great people. This place has several pool tables and plenty of TV's for watching your favoirte sports team. Beware of obnoxiously loud fans during college basketball season, but overall people are pretty laid back. I've had no problems with the bartenders that other people complain about, they've been nothing but friendly to me. My only complaint is that parking is a bitch, but that is what you get in the Presidio/Marina area. read more

This is the best neighborhood bar in San Francisco! A true family owned / operated place that has such a welcoming staff that you feel like you are part of the family by the time you leave. Anyone looking to grab a drink or watch a game in the area should make the trip to The Final Final. The only reason the Final Final gets three stars is because their jukebox actually played my songs I requested. Otherwise the place is a dive and I am not a fan (so I guess this review is already biased). I don't even think this could be a last stop on a long night of drinking. Well, it's where all the Texas fans go to watch the game. It almost feels like Austin, it's really a collection of younger alumni that took finance or tech jobs in the city - at least on Saturday afternoons. The service is just....really, really slow. But it's fine, if you're there for games, it'll be 3.5 hours, so think of it as self moderation. It doesn't feel like a dive (how many dives are covered in HD flat panels?), it just feels like a casual sports bar...where what's on the TV is more important than the label on the clothes you're wearing. read more

Awesome corner dive bar in the edge of the Marina. Great place to catch up with your laid back friends, watch some sports, play some pool, snack on free popcorn and throw back some nice cold beers! I love this classic dive bar! Good sports to watch, pool, beer is always cold. I will never pass up the opportunity to go enjoy all of the above when the occasion arises. Sadly, they lost a star for me. Last night the bar was flooded with large men in tank tops. Normally, I'm ok with tank tops and/or large men. But combine the two and my up chuck reflex was in full force. Men, wear the tank top loud and proud. But save it for the gym, the beach or even a game of tennis. One of the better sports bars in the City (ok, there are only 3 true sports bars here). Decent televisions for watching games - satellite packages can get just about any game televised (and they aren't pricks about turning on your game). Despite what some Yelpers say, the bartenders are really friendly. They just don't put up with a lot of the BS that Marina Elitists tend to bring with them (sorry d-bags, Bar None is probably more your scene). This is a place to drink beer and pay cash. This is an awesome sports bar. My kickball team comes here after every Wednesday evening games. The bartender is super cool and friendly, always greets us with big hello's! The booze is not expensive and they have some good beers on tap. There are also two pool tables, several TVs, and a jukebox to keep you entertained. Definitely check it out! read more

Word up to Final Final for keeping it real. Real friendly and real chill. According to my SF native friends, they used to hit up this place 10 years ago when business was slow going. And according to the real locals, even through its rise in popularity FF has maintained its og flavor. I've been a fan of FF for about 5 years now. And Tim is the best bartender in the world in my book. He really takes care of his peeps. This man is loved and respected by anyone who has had the chance to get to know him. I was downing pints of Stella over at Flybar on Divis, and the next thing I knew I was getting into a cab with my group. Me: "Where are we going?" Ashley: "The Marina." Me: *hangs head and wants to puke* (and NOT from drinking!) I didn't actually hear exactly where we were going. All I could think about was the fact I was going to the Marina wearing the same clothes I had been wearing all day, since going out at all that night was a last minute decision and I wasn't planning on the Marina! Anyways, we pull up to this place and I'm thinking "Where the hell are we!?!" I was later informed by a guy that apparently comes here regularly that we were actually in SOLO...south of Lombard (gotta love how much some people will break down SF). We walk into the place and the first thing I said to one of my friends is "We're not in the City anymore." Not that I don't ADORE this city, but it definitely needs a place like this. 1) They serve alcohol (always a plus for a bar) 2) It's a REAL sports bar (and a regionally affiliated sports bar at that. There were a few Nebraska banners hanging up and they were playing the Big10 network on the TV, so I guess there's some sort of Midwest connection). I'm from AZ where regionally affiliated sports bars are all over the place, so this felt like home. 3) It's unpretentious 4) It's a dive, but not TOO divey (trust me, there's places in the City a lot divier than this place) 5) They have a juke box 6) They have a pool table 7) They have FREE popcorn In addition to this they serve bar food. I didn't try and it didn't look good, but I didn't care since I wasn't eating it. Our waitress for the evening was a doll. It sounds like from some of the more negative reviews I've read on this place poor service was an issue, and I can't say I experienced that at all. Our waitress was prompt with drinks, had no problem managing several tabs, and most important had no problem dealing with obnoxious drunk people (*me raising hand*). Shitty sports/dive bar with a shitty bartender. Perhaps my impression of this bar would have been different, had the bartender not acted like a douche on the first drink I ordered. I asked for a black & tan. He pours and says $5.50. I pull $7 out of my wallet, give him $6 and put $1 down on the bar. He grabs the $1 and walks to the cash register. He does not come back with my 50 cents. Now, I didn't say anything...I mean, who starts a scene over 50 cents? But I was still put off by his assumption that I didn't want change. When I recounted the story to my friend who's been here before, he didn't seem at all surprised and said the bartender has been known to yell at people for leaning on the pool table or standing where he needed to walk. Well at first the Bartender was nice but not super friendly but as we sat there he became super friendly and we had a great time.. The free popcorn works in their favor, as I drink more because of all of its lovely saltiness. Perfect post-softball or volleyball team spot during the week. What a great neighborhood bar! We were leaving dinner @ Presidio Social Club when servers steered us the 900 feet to The Final Final! Bouncer was very patient with us moms who haven't been bar hopping during covid so took a bit to unearth our vacc cards on our phones. Bartenders were super friendly and also happy to bring many pitchers of ice water to help us hydrate on warm night between rounds and Altamont Maui Waui on tap!! Love! Nebraska game: 23 seconds left and they get a backup and first time kicker, Ryan Bailey, setting up for field goal. Just as his leg swings back, the cable goes black, luckily he kicked a 22-yard field goal to lead the Longhorns to a 22-20 victory over the Cornhuskers in a Big 12 showdown. Terrible service but I suppose that's to be expected at a dive bar. Usually we go to nicer places but tonight we were celebrating a softball event and the team wanted to celebrate close to home. When we saw the nearly empty bottle of Blanton's we were excited to buy a few drinks to score another one of the collectible toppers but after buying two rounds, the bartender rudely said "no, we don't give those to customers, our owner collects them!" Classy. We'll make sure to spend our money elsewhere next time. Let the owner know that his collectibles are losing him customers. He might take a hospitality note from Bobo's Burgers.
