I am SO happy with the work Fire Place LTD did today. I had never had my gas fireplace cleaned since we moved in 2021. The glass was pretty black so I made a Google search and found The Fire Place. And OMG The repair man was on time, friendly, and very clean. He cleaned my fireplace inside and out, and even cleaned the vent outside. The inside walls of my fireplace have always been black. Who knew they're supposed to be WHITE!! There was a screen on the vent outside preventing air flow. And the wood inside was covering the pilots in one pile. So everything was covered in black. I have always thought my fireplace was pretty but now it's just stunning!! Great price, great work! read more

We visited the showroom several weeks ago hoping to convert our wood burning fireplace to gas. The salesperson was friendly, informative and very helpful. We scheduled the work and we were told it would be a few weeks to install. Right on schedule, the two installers arrived and worked quickly, and efficiently. Once install was complete, a tutorial was provided and the area completely cleaned. Finished quote actually was less than expected. We are thoroughly enjoying our gas fireplace. It's providing warm and ambience with no smoke or ash residue. It sounds and looks like a real wood fire! Highly recommend! read more

These guys basically pulled off a miracle for us. Rodents got in to the electrical control wires for our ventless gas fireplace and chewed on everything. The folks at The Fireplace took the time to see exactly what was damaged and actually found replacement parts for this unit that was at least 15 years old. It works like a charm now and they saved us many thousands of dollars by fixing vs replacing. read more

I agree with the first review. TERRIBLE service. Don't waste your time. They apparently just changed their hours but forgot to change their voicemail message. The message still says open Wednesdays until 7:30. I guess they close now at 5. It was 5:15 and the guy tells us yeah, they'll have to change the message. I told him we drive all the way across town and he said yeah, sorry. I said well isn't the team still here? You just closed? No, if the door is locked there aren't any sales people to help you. Ridiculous. Hope they go out of business tomorrow. read more

had fire place ltd come for service te replace hearthstone. waited about 5 weeks before the tech was able to come. he did his work and seemed to be okay but: he could not explain why he had gaps between each hearthsone piece but speculated that if might be good to have an 'airgap.' also after he left i noticed that he used only one screw for the attached each hinge while two are required and the sigle screw that he placed was never screwed securely. lastly he couldn't get the gas lighter log in place. he left it hanging. i am fearful about using my fireplace when the tech was so ignorant and careless about what he was doing. i have not contacted the fireplace because i dont want any more incapable technicians in my house. read more

My husband & I stopped in the show room about two months ago to take a look at a fireplace insert (converting our natural fireplace to one with an electric blower). About three weeks ago we actually pulled the trigger and ordered the unit. We were told when we were we shopping it would about three weeks from order to installation & that's exactly what it was. They came out to our home yesterday to install & we had a great experience. The installation team was running about 10 minutes behind schedule & called us to let us know. They were super clean - took their shoes on & off as they were in & out of the house, laid down plenty of protective coverings during installation, completely cleaned up after themselves & offered comprehensive owners training. The install tech was great & was able to talk from personal experience - he shares he lives in a home similar to ours and has a unit, similar to the one he was installing for us & talked us through the whole process. Our shopping experience was very pleasant in the showroom. We had showed up shortly before they closed. Two employees took us through the showroom, were very knowledgeable about their product offerings, very patient. We never felt rushed and they kept the store open late for us. Price was exactly what we expected from their quote while we were shopping to yesterday's final bill. We also had them out a few weeks ago for a chimney cleaning & installation. I knew I wanted to write them a nice review & was absolutely shocked to find some poor ones on Yelp. Perhaps they've turned things around at the store but the previous documented reviews are 180 degrees different from our experience. Can't say enough nice things about this team. Would definitely recommend them & go back without any hesitation for future fireplace needs. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE AND VERY ARROGANT!! Took off of work to get brand new fireplace serviced after waiting 4 weeks for an appointment . They never showed and I had to call to only find out no one was coming because their tech was out sick. The soonest they said they could reschedule was another 2 weeks out !!!! Brad was very rude and not sure how they stay in business! Whoever the owner is should be embarrassed !!! read more

Nice showroom but when a sales person asks if they can help you and you mention you are looking for a custom mantel I'd expect someone to actually come out behind the counter and talk to us. Not just point to the wall and say. "They are over there". Gee thanks for nothing. We will go somewhere else where and spend our money read more

Fireplace Ltd. is the worst company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is non existent. Hire any company but this one.

Unbelievably poor service. I bought 2 fireplaces from them several years ago. The gas insert has been very finicky and had many times where it wouldn't light. This will be my 3rd service call. We called and troubleshot with them on Saturday and they said they'd have a tech call to set up a service appt. No one did. No one called Monday. I called again on Tuesday. Someone called me back. Then they are going to have another person call me back. After 6 calls I still don't have a service appt scheduled, but they've told me it will be the week of November 6--3 weeks from now. To even schedule something, they want my CC# and will charge me $85 (half the price of the service call--before they will do anything), but I still don't have an appointment on the calendar. Someone else will call me back to schedule. I have never encountered a business that charges you before you schedule an appt and they will have my money for nearly a month before I even see a technician. And they want the 2nd half before they actually do the service call. And the amount of time I've spent calling and messing around is insane. If there were other good options locally, I would never give these folks my business again. read more

Great place! I don't know what happened to the previous reviewers, my experience couldn't have been better. The sales staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They took their time and answered all of my questions no matter how silly they may have seemed. I was just stopping in for some information and to "comparison shop" but after spending some time in the store, I felt no need to shop elsewhere. I was confident that Fireplace LTD would do a great job installing my gas logs and fireplace door, that I didn't need to go anywhere else. And they did not disappoint, the servicemen were prompt and polite, and even put on some little booties so he didn't get my floor all dirty! I will absolutely be returning for all my fireplace needs. read more

Called for service that my fireplace was leaking gas. I even found the leak at the valve. System only 6 months old. Scheduled repair 11 o'clock to 2. took off work, No one showed and no phone calls. I left house 245. Im so pissed I might punch someone in the face. His name is Brad!!!! read more
