Local lounge & restaurant that has some spectacular specials! We came for lunch when it wasn't crowded. Lots of parking in the lot adjoining the building to the east. Great service from Autumn today! This establishment hasn't changed for years (it's a good thing).

Family member died took her daughter there to try to make her smile. Waitress threatened to kick her out because she was to loud so we canceled our order what really up set me wasn't the way she talk to us but it was a 20 min wait for my change so I can leave. Waitress name was Erica I'm still sitting here waiting for my change

    Hot Dago and Spaghetti!

Disappointing that I had to discover the Hot Dago during these extreme circumstances facing us (takeout Style) but it was awesome and look forward to sitting down at the Fireside Lounge soon to eat my 2nd Hot Dago and trying some of the other menu items. My wife had the steak sandwich and spaghetti and thoroughly enjoyed both. The red sauce on the spaghetti and Hot Dago is worth the visit. Thanks Mike and team.

Just moved to the area and my dad recommended it to my husband and I. Every person there was extremely friendly and welcoming. Angie was very kind and even asked our names, which made us feel like she cared. The food was excellent. I had the corned beef and cabbage dinner. And my husband had the Philly steak sandwich. Both cooked perfectly and piping hot. Usually when we ask for medium rare steak it's always off just a little. Not this time. Incredible food and service. We will be back for breakfast and happy hour.

I liked Meatloaf special with mash potatoes, roll and veggies. It's kind of a fun place, retro and such.

The food is old burnt and awful. If it were not for the drunks this place would be out of business.

Service was friendly and efficient and the music playing was like barbershop doo-op so it was fun. Food, just like at their other location, is really good and this was my first time trying the Sante Fe and I think it's my new go-to. The dill deep fried grilled cheese bites were a special and were more like cheese curds with pickle inside. I enjoyed the pickle, glad I tried them, but wasn't in love so I'd probably pass in the future.

The place is nostalgic and definitely has some history of being here. The food came out fresh, hot, and fresh. Our waitress was very nice, and joked around about us being from out of town which half of us were. They were very impressed with the Juicy Lucy's flavor and crispy French fries. Beer was cold and refreshing. The only drawback is the location of getting there in a direct route which is location, location, location. Definitely would recommend trying these burgers here. I miss seeing the Pulltabs here as well as they stopped selling them after Covid

First of all we found this place on Yelp and landed on it because of the high reviews and how close it was to our airbnb. I was a bit worried about a wait as it looked popular but with two people we were able to get in pretty quick (less than 5 min wait) on a Sunday morning. It was packed though, so there might be a wait. Space is at a premium in this building and despite being a bit crammed in it was still a great experience overall. Honestly everything was wonderful. The server: A+, ambiance: great, food: holy hell it was delicious. I had some sort of benedict that came on cornbread and was paired with some incredible hashbrowns. Chef's kiss. I also ordered a specialty mocha for fun and it also did not disappoint. This place is a slam dunk for breakfast. If you live in the twin cities and you haven't eaten here yet what are you doing!?

Single. Time. That doesn't even cover how wonderful the staff there is! Just really great people who are keeping it real. No parties larger than 6, this is a hard rule and needs to be respected. I have seen people argue with the owner. It's a small place and he values his staff so much that he will not opt for income over his staff's mental health or stress level. I admire that so much. All the more reason to take your close friend and enjoy a real down to earth local business!!!

The Mac and cheese was delicious, and the potatoes had a great flavor. Be warned that the initial line is super long and can stretch to outside, but then it is much quicker after you get through the first line. The servers were all super nice and the place had a great, welcoming atmosphere. I also appreciated that they let girl scouts sell cookies inside the restaurant! Will definitely have to come back for their other menu items.

I would literally shut down for a weekend and higher better servers or just train everyone so much more... It took a straight hour I mean a full hour to get a fried chicken sandwich and a burger with some cheese curds-that is crazy guys. Our server just seemed really uncomfortable and out of sorts. It felt super awkward. The old place was so much better!! I understand wanting a bigger location and I was excited because I'm in Hastings a lot and yes, you did need more space but we literally compromised service for space and that's not sustainable in a restaurant. I really hope this gets fixed because this place was a gem! My husband and I loved it. We would go all the time and get burgers and fried chicken sandwiches for like the last three years. I was excited over being in a bigger location, but yeah, the service was so awful and the food took so incredibly long that it just put a huge cloud over the whole experience. Also my loaded fries--the cheese wasn't even melted. Like, how could you even send that over to the table? I hope you guys do a lot more training and get people up to speed. There's no way I could come back after what I just experienced maybe in a few more months when people are more trained that was super frustrating. I also feel sorry for all the veterans and good old boys that used to go there every day. The old place had a way better vibe to it. This feels chaotic like people are confused. You have a whole bunch of staff that don't know what they're doing now and it's super noticeable. Fried chicken was delicious as always, but boy did I pay for it. Honestly, the wait time was just the worst part. That's my main complaint a full and I mean I'm not exaggerating here--an entire hour for one burger and one fried chicken sandwich that's insane and they didn't even offer to take anything off when it was all over. $90 for this experience and it was really frustrating. It was sad to us too because this used to be one of our favorite spots. Super bummed.

We arrived before our reservation so grabbed a seat at the bar. Came just in time for the tail end of Happy Hour and enjoyed a glass of wine and beer with the appetizers of truffle potato wedges and charcuterie. Loved the charcuterie especially the cheeses, but do wish the bread was sliced better. The potato wedges were piping hot but a bit too thick on the potato for me. We finally got seated and was pretty disappointed as I saw that the table they sat us at was open the entire time we were at the bar. I was told by the hostess that someone was sitting at our table when we arrived, but clearly that was not true. I was grateful that they didn't make us eat off the Restaurant Week menu and I got the gargenelli pasta. It was a nice pasta dish with the goat cheese and the toasty bread crumbs. I didn't taste any of the n'duja though the waitress said it was in the sauce. Overall a nice dinner but do wish the service was as good as it was in the bar area.
