Stopped In today for first time and was really impressed with the layout. One side has a cool "boot camp" style workout area with turf , bands, weights , bars etc. Through another door to the other side is a cool Yoga/Bar room. No matter what your trying to do, you can do it here. The owners/trainers seem very friendly and super relational with everyone that was there including me. Great workout place! Very friendly people, wide range of classes, and the difficulty can vary depending on how strong I feel that day! I like also that every class is offered virtually. The workouts are different every time and I like that Mark does a lot of side movement exercises like side lunges and twists. There are classes offered every day at different times and they have different exercise themes so I really like that too. I only just started going, but lots of people seem to have been around for awhile, which is a great sign. So all in all, a great place! read more

YAY!!!! I'm the first to post a review for my favorite personal trainer and his new studio! Mark Parker has been my personal trainer since 2013. I took a break in 2015 due to personal reasons and really fell off track. I gained a lot weight like it was my job! I reached a breaking point where I desperately needed help and Mark is the only one that I trusted the most to help me. His passion for personal training and helping his clients reach their goals is amazing. I am so excited that he has his own studio! Mark knows how to push me past my personal limits and I have full faith that we will reach my goals as a team. He's always there for me when I need a little extra encouragement, even if it's just a simple text message. This is a private gym. The Fit Park will offer some challenging classes and barre fit classes, as well as the personal training. The studio is a great space to accommodate all fitness levels.The rates are competitive and worth every penny! Another feature that I'm very excited about is that The Fit Park also offers a personal chef service that allows you to order prepared, fresh meals that you can pick up weekly. I had a great conversation with Chef Woodman about the meals. They change up weekly and are easily adjusted to any dietary restrictions. Mark Parker has been my trainer since 2015, I've been seeing him twice a week since signing up with him. He's an awesome trainer and I've gained a close friend through our time together. Mark is understanding, friendly, and professional. He really cares about his clients. Many of his clients have been seeing him for years. I feel more in shape than ever and Mark continues to push me to work harder and eater better. I like the work-outs because you don't just lift weights, he comes up with these great combination moves that get your heart rate up and build your muscle/strength. I love the setup because it holds you accountable to work out. You buy a package and then schedule via an app or texting him. There are treadmills that you are able to use before or after your work-out session. I'm looking forward to the classes that he's offering. The location is in downtown Ferndale. This is my favorite gym in metro Detroit! Marc and Anthony are really helpful and know how to safely push you to get to the next level. Their workouts are a perfect balance of exhausting your body without being draining. They keep things fresh and fun while maintaining a professional seriousness about fitness progress. Additionally, I love that they offer yoga, it's great balance to keep flexible and calm, and the yoga instructors seem to tailor class to people who are strength training. I've been doing 1-2 classes per week and 1 day a week of personal training for a few months and I finally feel like an athlete again! read more

This has been the only gym that I have joined that has kept me motivated and WANTING to work out! I have lost 15 lbs in 3 months and inches everywhere. The classes are fun, the members are a family, and the instructors are so welcoming. I love the small class sizes because you get one on one work. Members are at all fitness levels. I have done the HIIT classes and barre classes with Al and love both. Mark, the owner, is dedicated and passionate towards helping others achieve their goals. 10/10 would recommend! The Fit Park just opened in 2017 , yet owner/personal trainer , Mark Parker has been my trainer 4 years prior. The atmosphere is non-intimidating, yet they have some clients that are intense ! I enjoy my workouts and have had intense workouts, but Mark understands if I need a low pressure day , we call it my "tank top arms" day. The Fit Park is clean and well maintained and has group classes also as well as a great "Barre" class ; they are in separate rooms so there is privacy for your personal training session. Classes and Personal training sessions can be scheduled online to make it simple. I really enjoy my workouts and they even let me choose my genre of music, "80s" for me. My teenage son also starting personal training with Mark and has been a great role model to get him into a more healthy lifestyle. I totally recommend you try it out read more
