The community here is so special, the studio is inviting and has everything you need whether you are a beginner or have lots of experience. Ellen's class on Sundays are my weekend staple, she has a way of approaching the class that is both challenging but also meets you where you are in your experience level. She is kind, approachable and experienced. The owners Cat and Paul and wonderful people, they have created an incredible environment for the community and they are invested in their guests experience. I saw all different body types and I knew I'd feel right at home. The workouts are great, mixture of high intensity, body sculpting workouts and some yoga to stretch that body out after a fast paced workout. Adaptable for whatever your body can handle. Just enough to test your limits and not cause hurt or injury because your health and body come first here. I'll admit the first week was stressful for me. Starting to eat clean, I was moody lol and I was like "I thought yoga was suppose to be calming?" Lol because I was more concerned about "am I doing this right? Am I suppose to be feeling this way? Not only is the studio clean and nice. It's the instructors, so knowledgeable and helpful. They truly know what they are doing. They have our best interest at heart. They have over the last year incorporated other classes besides Bikram, like inferno hot Pilates, and variations of the classic Bikram 26&2 class. Those I cannot speak to because I'm a classic Bikram gal. It those classes seem to be very popular and full! So others must enjoy them. I see others reviews that put down how hot it is and how rigid the instructors can be. It IS hot, it's supposed to be. There a reason for everything they do. Trust the process. When I practice Bikram regularly not only does my body get fit, it's detoxifies and my skin looks younger! I'm in my 50's and no one believes me. I feel like when I go to Bikram yoga I get a work out, I am stretched, I get a facial, and I detoxify. All in 90 min. What else can do that all in 90 minutes!! Nothing. If you're on the fence about it try it at least 5 classes. Then make your decision. Don't do one class. My best friend made me try it years ago. He told me try it 5 times before I quit. I called him after my first class and said "I hate Bikram and I hate you for making me promise this!" After class 2 I didn't hate it. After class 3 I liked it after class 4 I was hooked. It has changed my life and if you trust the process it will change yours too.

I mean, goats on your back, while performing Yoga moves? Ummm.... Okay. Sure! Why not?! YOLO! So, I bought the tickets, freed my mind of any hesitations and marked it on our calendar. Thankfully, my BF is a good sport and will try anything with me. We had no idea what to expect. We didn't know what the environment would be like. We didn't even know if we would participate, but instead, just be spectators if it was just to 'woo woo' for us. And, I'm a Born Again Hippie . As soon as we arrived, I mean, like hadn't even parked our car yet, we were greeted with a smile and warmth from Denise. The location is in farmland. The goats are in a pin, where you get to first become familiarized with them - and they with you. Then, you are escorted into the pin with the goats. Sounds strange? Not at all! You commune with nature. And that is the point! Once everyone is comfortable, the experience begins. It's magical. It's transcendent! The experience allows you to let go of all the gunk you've developed throughout the course of your week(s) or even months. It allows you to ground yourself with Mother Nature and be taken care of by Her. And, knowing how to perform yoga moves is not a requirement! Do what you can or don't. It's all about good vibes and love. After yoga, we were able to hold the goats, ask questions, and be provided trivia about them. I learned so much!!! I was previously scared of goats. Their eyes were spooky to me. Now, I look forward to seeing them again. After we returned home, I felt SO relaxed that I took a nap. And, it's been years since I have been able to take a nap during the day. I'm lucky if I get 6 hours of sleep a night! Menopause anyone? That's just how much the experience relaxed me!!! It revitalized me. It detoxed me. It made my mind and body smile again. So, what are you waiting for?! Open up your mind. Give it try. Just do it!!! You won't be sorry. You know how people have bucket list items and it's usually these big bucket list items like…read morebackpacking through Europe or jumping out of a plane? Because life is life and sometimes those big bucket list items are hard to accomplish, I started what I call small bucket list items. Small things that are in reach of you accomplishing and having a moment of aaahhh I can't believe I did that! Small things that bring big moments of joy! Goat yoga was on my small bucket list item that brought me big amounts of laughter and enjoyment! Let me tell you it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked up the two owners greeted us with a big smile. The class was intimate with only 9 people including me and a friend. The ladies are knowledgeable both in yoga and in goats obviously lol! It was so much doing the yoga while the goats walked around you. And yes they said it's okay to be distracted and play with the goats instead which I did the entire time lol. After the one hour class is done you're free to play and take pictures with the goats some more. I also loved that they took your pictures for you as well and airdrop them to you after class. 10/10 experience you don't have to do just once in your lifetime as it's decently priced and local!
