I love this location with a passion !! I am a fan for diners. This is truly one of MN'S hidden gems. They also are super convenient because Minnesota lacks in restaurants open late at night. ESP @2AM!!!! Mind you every time I come here its the same 2 chefs sending out delicious platters of food. They have never disappointed me in the last 2 years of coming here. Service here is also top notch. Even when restaurant is crazy busy the crew has great customer service and are very attentive to the guests. This could not get any better!!

They are open until 2am on Friday and thank goodness they are. Fast and efficient food came out extremely fast. Onion rings were amazing.

I can't believe how lazy the cooks are. They can't even cook a fresh hamburger instead they reheat a precooked patty.

Great place to grab a bite. 24/7. Breakfast lunch dinner. Diner vibe. One of my favorite Minnesota food spots. A classic.

Service was poor. They lost my order and it took about 50 minutes to get my food and when it showed up it was wrong.

The Burger Monarchy: A Paradox of Plenty in Miesville In the…read morequiet, pastoral stretches outside Eagan, there exists a roadside institution that defies the modern trend of curated minimalism. King's Place in Miesville is a relic of a different era, a burger joint that functions less like a restaurant and more like a high-volume assembly line of Americana. The menu is not merely large; it is an overwhelming, multi-page manifesto of beef. With roughly 80 to 100 variations on the burger--many named in tribute to the local Miesville Mudhens baseball team--the experience begins with a bout of genuine decision paralysis. For the average diner, the sheer volume of choices feels like a dare. It is a place where you can find almost any topping imaginable, which makes the absence of a simple fried mushroom all the more jarring. It is the one note the kitchen fails to hit in an otherwise exhaustive symphony. When the food does arrive, the logistics are the primary entertainment. The floor staff at King's Place perform a nightly feat of athletic grace, weaving through the crowded, character-filled dining room while balancing five or more burger trays at a time. It is a spectacle of efficiency that puts the sterile, automated nature of modern chains to shame. However, one must navigate the side dishes with a discerning eye. While the temptation to "upgrade" is always present, the seasoned waffle fries are an investment that yields little return; they are best skipped in favor of the standard fare. The real value here lies in the core product and the refreshing lack of pretension. Despite the fame and the daunting menu, the pricing remains stubbornly reasonable, a rare feat for an establishment that has transitioned from a local secret to a regional landmark. "Life is too short to miss out on the beautiful things like a double cheeseburger." -- Channing Tatum For those seeking the predictable polish of a franchise, King's Place will be a confusing sensory overload. But for the traveler who values soul, speed, and a price point that respects the wallet, this is a kingdom worth visiting--just don't expect to find a fried mushroom on your plate. Tried the cheese curds and fried pickles for appetizers- came with delicious homemade ranch for dipping. Got the Rundown and Queen burger with waffle fries and tots to try the different options. I loved the Rundown burger - so refreshing for a summer burger. The tots came with cheese dip - yum! Saw another person order a Bloody Mary and had to give that a whirl. They home make the mix and make them spicy or not to order. The place is broken up into different rooms which made for a more intimate atmosphere while also being able to serve a lot of folks.

We arrived early at 4 PM on a Sunday afternoon so the place was not yet packed. By the time we left at 5:30 most of the tables indoors were full. You wait for the hostess to seat you. We took a hightop. They have a big outdoor patio area, but it was 90° that day so we opted to stay inside. Service was great and friendly and fast. Our Party ordered the following: Nashville fried chicken - chicken was crispy and just a little bit spicy. It was a bit greasy, but that is expected. The server said it was their best sandwich. That's my jam - this had cream cheese and habanero, bacon jam, but we couldn't really taste the habanero. But it was good nonetheless. Campfire burger - two of our Party ordered this and they thought the combination of the peanut butter with a spicy lingonberry jam was really good. The chips that come with the sandwiches are amazing. Don't even think of switching to something else. I also had the bloody Mary, which was a good mix, but not very spicy. I was wondering why they gave me Tabasco on the table. The burgers are huge, maybe a third or a half pound of beef and well worth the price. Overall, it is worth the 40 minute drive to White Bear Lake and won't mind stopping by if we were in the area again.

The food was incredible, the space was perfect, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. Planning a party can be stressful, but the team at Tipsy Steer made the entire experience easy and enjoyable. We received so many compliments from our guests on the food and venue. You sit at a table and order off your phone, and servers will bring your food and drinks out to you. Had no problem with that, it was a fairly easy process. Our servers were kind and I believe we talked to the owner for a bit who was attentive to all the tables! The food is the disappointing piece. I had the chicken rojo avocado tacos and they really lacked flavor. There was plenty of chicken in such a small tortilla, which made the taco fall apart as you ate. My sister ordered the pesto Mac and cheese with chicken and it was okay, but the chicken was not good. I didn't try the tenderloin bowl, but it seemed to have better reviews than my meal or my sisters from my family. I don't make my way out to Blaine often enough to try again, but I think this would be a better spot for pizzas and milkshakes.
