I haven't been to the flameburger in a long time. So I stopped in there the other day for breakfast. The waitress was very friendly. I ordered the steak and eggs and they were totally awesome.Eggs perfectly cooked over medium. Steak perfectly cooked medium. The hash browns were very good. I didn't look at the lunch menu but that looks very good. I would recommend this place for late night breakfast or early morning breakfast. read more

Unpretentious. Everyone eating their knows it's greasy. The breakfasts are good with nice brown greasy hash browns. The burgers are OK. Went here for breakfast. Very disappointed. The waitress seemed more interested in having a conversation with another employee than taking our order. Then our Ranch Breakfast came. My overeasy eggs had runny whites, the toast was buttered cold because it did not melt and the hash browns were so greasy I couldn't finish them. To top it off, all the food tasted burned. Could REALLY IMPROVE on CUSTOMER SERVICE. They rush your order like they're ready to get rid of you. Myself and 3 classmates decided to try this place. We were warned that cooking time could take a while so we called in our order since our lunch break is short. Called at 11:45, told the lady we'd be there by 12:15. We arrived on time, but lady at register didn't care to greet us and only gave us the "Okay, what do you want?" look. When I told her we made the call, she replied bitterly, "Well, your food has been sitting out for like 10 minutes now. Have a seat." Waitress responded quickly and got us drinks, but our food was COLD!!! IF IT WAS SITTING OUT FOR 10 MINUTES, IT WOULD AT LEAST BE WARM. Nothing's more disappointing than being served COLD hot food (when you gave them the chance to do their part well) and an employee who's not so friendly. Unfortunately, this place doesn't cut it. Our takeout order was pretty bad. Two burgers were packed into one container and were unappealing. Our onion rings had to be worst ones we've ever had and - they melted the take out contained and were over fried! The fries were cooked in old oil so they were crunchy like chips and not evenly cooked. Looked like they came right out of the freezer bag. The meat was flattened and therefore overcooked. You get a lot of hash browns but they seem kind of bland, I usually add salt. Also, tell them you don't want butter on your toast, they really glop it on. Seating is pretty awkward: you're always staring at someone you don't know. Daytime dining is pretty quiet, but since they're open 24x7, the wee hours are for people leaving the bars. You've been warned, so get take-out if that's not your thing. I've never seen anything "break out" but there's definitely been some tension, I also noticed they have security during those times now. read more

I walked in and noticed what looked like mold on the walls, the menus were sticky , the hostess who brought up our water looked like the tips of his fingers were rotting, I was in clear view of the cook, he was not wearing gloves and I witnessed him touch raw meat multiple times , never once did I see him leave to was his hands, he would touch raw meat then touch someone's cooked food, seeing all of this before my burger came left me feeling nauseous, the burger was boring, I don't think it was anything special.. the t.v was way too loud and someone decided to play the jukebox so the t.v and jukebox were on at same time, I asked waitress to turn one of these down and was completely ignored, I left feeling nauseous, sticky and full of anxiety with all the noise, not to mention the food poisoning I'm sure I'll get from the cook not wearing gloves.. Any bad reviews the flame burger gets is because they are expecting it to be some sort of five star restaurant when it isn't. It isn't fancy and it isn't luxurious. But what it does offer is great food. The flame burger is just a little dive. It's between a couple of bars so it stays open forever. So it's a great place to eat late at night if you're craving some good burgers or early morning before work. They have great breakfast items served 24/7.
