Is this the kind of place that a compete with the top tier of NYC/CA, yes but not at the same level. Cha Siu Pork - This was truly legendary. Tender, perfectly cooked. Duck - Flavor was alright, felt a bit muted. Skin wasn't that crispy. Spicy chicken - flavor was very good. Rice was decent. Nothing too memorable.

Highlights for sure was the calamari which was perfectly cooked and crispy, Peking duck was spot on and skin was perfect with juicy meat. Wonton was house made you can tell and it was awesome. I was disappointed with the steamed oyster as it was well cooked but the taste overall was just not for me. Lobster was also a let down. You could tell it was frozen or not too fresh. The meat was sticking to the shell which is a tell tale sign Overall a stellar meal , I would just avoid some of the dishes above but otherwise it was great

Michelin selected restaurant lives up to the ranking. I brought my Mom here for Mother's Day!…read more What a wonderful night of food we had. The Orlando food scene blows away the options in Tampa. I love coming over here to check out all the fine dining. First of all, the restaurant is inside of the Ritz-Carlton so you already know from the get go it better be classy, and delicious because that's exactly what comes with the Ritz name. When we pulled up, valet let us know that valet was free since we were eating at the restaurant. We arrived 30 minutes early to our reservation and they were still able to seat us. Up first, they bring around a bread trey. We decided to try all 3 breads. Mom liked the cheesy round looking bread best. I'm a classic sourdough baguette type myself. The croissant looking bread was just alright, both of us thought it was a distant 3rd best. I have no idea what the first compliments of the chef was, but it was delicious. We decided to split a $24 Knife Wedge. When it came out, neither of us were sure if they brought us the right food item. After diving in though they definitely did. It was super duper delicious. A wedge salad not like anything I've had anywhere else. For the main entree I had the $38 Pappardelle Bolognese and I thought it was absolutely phenomenal. The taste, the sauce, the cheese, the texture were all on point. I also got a side order of the $19 cultivated mushrooms. Really different, but excellent. My mom got the $64 Prime Filet Mignon 6 oz. Holy smokes this thing was cooked to perfection. It was weird too because it was super plain, a slight amount of salt, and I didn't taste anything else added to the cut of meat. I was surprised it was this good, and yet so plain. This was easily one of the most tender cuts of meet I've ever had. I was amazed at the quality. Then, after our entrees we had sorbet as compliments from the chef. However, between our salad and entree there was an hour wait for food. The staff claimed some massive order went in and backed up the kitchen. After speaking with our waiter and the Maître D' they agreed that this was unacceptable for a Michelin restaurant like this. They made it up by comping my entree and bringing us 2 desserts free of charge. I really have no idea which of the 2 desserts they brought us. 1 was pretty weird. The other was an excellent type of key lime pie. And then, we had some gummies for dessert. Beautiful restaurant. Exquisite experience. Top notch restaurant in Orlando. I would say, I did not order a cocktail as they are $36+ which is nuts. Highly recommend!

I explained we can to celebrate a birthday and they both immediately offered soo much help. I'm grateful for service that not only displays a smile but provides a smile. The place is beautiful, very modern chic with an accompanying contemporary spin. It screamed luxury. Beautifully designed table setting. The coat service and purse service. The food was subpar. I reached out to the establishment to gain some understanding on revisiting to make things right. Our experience was pricey and underwhelming.

We had the crabcake eggs benedict and the lobster toast. Both dishes were good but definitely more expensive than your typical benedict. Bloody mary was delicious and worth the price. Ordered a kid's burger with fries for my son which was a bit dry but he still ate a decent portion of it. The prices were high as expected but this restaurant is on inKind so it definitely makes the prices way more reasonable. Would return to try this place on a date night without the kids to see how the vibes are in the evening.

So much of Orlando is dominated by very average chains but Ocean Prime stands out as one of the better ones imo. Upscale with a bit of a trendy modern feel. Food (4.5/5) - Extensive selection of seafood-dominated mains and appetizers, but also complimented by upscale steaks, sides and salads. Hamachi Crudo - Hamachi pieces with pickled mango, sweet peppers, cilantro, sesame ginger vinaigrette - outstanding appetizer - hamachi was very fresh and the mix in the crudo just works so well together. We enjoyed it so much we ordered another one instead of dessert at the end of the meal lol. Oysters On the Half Shell - had half a dozen of the west coast ones and they were pretty good... fresh and flavourful but not briney. Sea Scallops - served on a parmesan risotto, with english peas, and a citrus vinaigrette. Outstanding main... perfectly cooked texture and balanced flavour/seasoning with the perfect amount of searing. Grouper - served with lobster pieces, pasta, peas and garnishments in an emulsion. Cooked to proper firmness and a nice fresh flavour. Side Asparagus - not bad... cooked to proper firmness but maybe on bland side. Service (4.75/5) - top notch - very attentive, knowledgeable and upscale. Server and support table staff were all professional and engaging. Atmosphere (4.5/5) - upscale and classy with properly spaced table options. Not a lot of parking however not as busy as the I-Drive one. Overall (4.5/5) - a definite recommendation if you are in the Orlando area and looking to have an upscale, quality dinner date, work event, get-together.
