Okay this is exact what I've been waiting for! Southern smoked BBQ and really good seafood. Not only can you get a whole rack of smoked ribs but you can also get lobster, shrimp, snow crab legs, and all the fixins' to go along. Everything was seasoned well, the steak and ribs were tender. My steak and seafood platter also came with corn, a hard boiled egg (which was a nice touch), sausage, and potatoes. Just to say I tried everything, I also ordered the Mac-n-cheese and the greens. Their greens had smoked turkey which works for those who are not into swine/pork. This is a nice change of pace for those not looking to drop $100 on a seafood dinner. The takeout atmosphere allows you to enjoy the food at the numerous picnic tables or simply in the comforts of your own home. I am not a huge seafood guy, but I must say this place is really good. I had the fried shrimp combo for 16$ and it was worth it. The food was well seasoned . I would recommend you bring cash instead of paying with a debt or credit card, if you do bring a debit or credit card bring your I.D. Because they will check. The dessert menu was subpar and they do not have fountain drinks just soda. They also have a BBQ truck outside the restaurant. The BBQ wasn't so great but the Mac&Cheese is fantastic! read more

The business never got back to me regarding the missing item from my order, so I am knocking off a star for lack of response.

We were in search of a black owned business to support while visiting Orlando and Eat and Wash did not disappoint. The medium platter was more than enough for us and the couple we were traveling with. The snow crab clusters were meaty and well seasoned. We requested an extra side of garlic butter to make sure we had enough flavor but it was not needed. Everything was seasoned and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend Eat and Wash for your seafood needs while in Orlando. It was raining so we didn't get a chance to get our car washed but we enjoyed the food! read more

Definitely a "locals" kind of place, I don't think I would have even heard of this place had it not been for my friend's recommendation. We decided to order a big family sized tray to go and add on an additional cluster since we wanted more crabs than shrimp. We ordered about an hour and half before they closed, what we did receive was hot and fresh. I did enjoy the seasoning but it wasn't anything overly spectacular, just really good. Once we got home we realized our order was missing the additional cluster that we ordered and paid for. We quickly called back, the young lady on the phone did apologize & say that the order was sitting right at the pick up window. We lived about 25 minutes away, hopped back in the car to pick it up before they closed. Once we got there there was no compensation for the inconvenience offered. Why was the order on a separate tray as opposed to inside the bigger pan with the other food? No idea. Crabs were good, not great. Sausage was okay, not my personal favorite but I'm particular about my boil sausage, LOTS OF POTATOES...too many honestly, very few eggs and a decent amount of corn. read more

We ordered the garlic crab, lobster, and shrimp combo with an extra crab cluster and hush puppies on the side. The food was so good. They also play music videos in the eating area and take suggestions on which video to play. The price was good for all the food we ordered and the seasonings/garlic butter was amazing. This is so good. I'm always down for some good soul food and this place delivers. I actually had a co worker who brought some of their food to the office. It smelled amazing. She shared a small sample with me and I immediately decided to get two of my close friends and go after work to get some. The drive is literally 30 minutes away but it was worth it. We showed up about an hour before they closed and ordered the shrimp dinner which comes with shrimp, corn, sausage, and potatoes. The meal was super affordable and each plate was full of food for only $10. It was an amazing experience and the inside of the restaurant was very intimate and small. The television wasn't working but everything else was great. The workers were helpful and were polite. So stumbled upon eat n wash on DoorDash . I am originally from Baltimore so I Love crabs and shrimp. I ordered the chicken and shrimp combo . Also a side order of crab. WOW!! So I moved to to Florida back in 1997 and I have yet to find a restaurant that has crabs like back home ! Its not 100% like Baltimore but damn close to it , say 95.5%!!! The shrimp man is incredible. I went here as soon as I landed in Orlando after seeing it all over my Instagram and I was not disappointed even slightly. Not only did I have to wait an extended time to just get a salad, but they didn't have a variety of salad dressings (or not the one which I wanted and the one which I was given had been watered down) and when I inquired as to why, I was instructed that I didn't have to come back if I didn't like it. The customer service (the female owner) was very rude by stating I would have to take what she had or not come back, and this is after I've paid my money and had been told that because I left the window (or as she but it, went to my car), that she would not give me my money back.
