Our mixologist was named Talon; he was very friendly and knowledgeable. He started by asking us what we usually like to drink (spirits and flavor profiles). Once we gave him the information he needed, Talon proceeded to make us some amazing cocktails. I absolutely loved mine and could have drank them all night. I tried some of my friends' drinks and they were all excellent as well. We ordered several appetizers to share (guacamole, wings, empanadas, and mojo chicharrones), everything was very tasty. Talon came back over to ask us what options we'd like for our second round or drinks, so we all went with something different than the first order. Every cocktail he served us was really good and based on our individual tastes and preferences. I wish I lived in the area because I would go to Odd Birds regularly. The night we were there, they had a secret disco going on in the main dining area which sounded like a fun idea. I loved everything from the drinks, food, and interior decor. The Charlotte 33 Speakeasy area has a very pretty atmosphere as well.

My spouse and I checked out the self-guided tour right before we grabbed dinner at The Ice Plant. The tour isn't particularly long but was filled with information. After the tour, we headed upstairs to the restaurant. The restaurant feels really spacious with its super tall ceilings. There was lots to look at reminding us of the previous use of the building. We ordered the hand cut fries, strawberry and beet salad, and the gochujang marinated pork chop. I also ordered a few of their drinks, each one featuring different types of ice to fit the drink. Honestly all the food and the drinks were so good, but the easy standout of the night for both my spouse and I were the pork chops. These might have been the best pork chops I've ever had in my life. The pork chops were incredibly tender and juicy, not dry at all. I was expecting it to be a little dry, as I feel like pork chop can sometimes get overcooked, but no. These were so juicy and tender. I asked our server how the pork chop was cooked. Our server said that the pork chops were cooked sous vide, which makes a lot of sense as to how they were so tender. I've already told my spouse if we are in the St. Augustine area again, I would make a special trip just to get these pork chops again, they were that good. I really enjoyed this restaurant. This was my favorite spot we checked out in the St. Augustine area, if you are ever passing by the area, check The Ice Plant out!

Send everyone home with a free bag of ice -- at least then I'd feel like I paid for something I got to keep. Would go back for the food. Would think twice before ordering another cocktail.

One thing I love about this venue is their free shuttle system that takes you to your car (which is free parking) during the concerts. The venue is on the smaller side so it feels more intimate for the artists. There are a few areas where seating is obstructed but they do mention that when buying tickets. One tough thing about this venue is the merch line usually tends to get MASSIVE and I have seen people miss a handful of songs while waiting in it if an artist takes the stage. Bathrooms are usually clean but they are scattered around so you may need to hunt for them. Drink prices are pretty reasonable and they usually have a drink of the night that is slightly discounted. They also have a reusable cup that you can bring throughout the night for a couple dollars off refills!

I went last weekend for lunch with my boyfriend after a few trips over years. I was excited to come as I have enjoyed the food in the past. We ordered the pimento cheese arepas and were very disappointed. The pimento cheese was great (I love pimento cheese!), However, the arepas were raw inside. We sent them back to the kitchen and were told that is the way they are. Our waitress said they get a lot of complaints (about half of people who order them) and they are a very hit or miss item. She particularly didn't like them and said they were even a re-worked item on their menu. Their past version got lots of complaints as well. Word of advice for the chef/owners - if half of your customers don't like it, take it off the menu! Also, they need try a real arepa - they should not be the consistency of raw dough. When made correctly, they are a very delicious treat! We ordered some fried green tomatoes to replace this app and they were good. For our mains I ordered the fish sandwich which was great and my boyfriend ordered the chipwich on suggestion from the waitress. OMG, it was disgusting. It really was one of the worst things I've eaten from a restaurant. It was an over toasted, dry hoagie with dry chicken on it. It was stuffed with so much lettuce and dry chicken we couldn't even close the sandwich in a way that it could be eaten. After my boyfriend said it wasn't good, i tried it. It had some sort of sauce and blue cheese on it, but not enough to cancel out the huge amount of dry bread, dry lettuce and dry chicken, plus it smelled like a horse stall. I recommend taking this off the menu, too. I would visit this restaurant every time I went to St. Augustine, but now I think i'll look for something new on my next visit. read more

This restaurant is located at 72 Spanish Street, Saint Augustine Fl, 32084. I had dinner at this restaurant. I ate the Dixie burger. This burger was a half pound veggie burger. I drank water to go with it. I would rate this burger as an 8/10. Overall, the restaurant is clean and you can have a private conversation. The food is healthy and comes out quick! I would rate the restaurant as a 9/10. The quality of the food is 9/10. It is cooked perfectly and fills you up. The water tasted fresh and looked clear. The decorations went with a theme of Florida. I would give it a 10/10! The price of the items on the menu is fair considering everything is fresh which is another 10/10! The service was amazing. 5/5 Stars! A Must-Visit in St. Augustine My girlfriend and I recently dined at The Floridian, and we were blown away by the experience! From the moment we walked in, the cozy and inviting ambiance set the perfect tone for the evening. The service was exceptional--attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable without being overbearing. Now onto the food... wow! I ordered the Cornbread Stack, and it was an absolute masterpiece. The cornbread was perfectly moist, with just the right balance of sweetness and savory flavors from the fresh toppings. My girlfriend opted for the Meatloaf, and she couldn't stop raving about it. Bad night for the chef! Let's start with their reservations. We had a 7 pm reservation on 07.12.25, and a couple in front of us on the waiting list were seated ahead of us. When I gave them our name, the young lady said it'll be 15 to 20 minutes. When I questioned the young lady at the check-in desk, she said they were on a wait list. I asked her Why would we make a reservation? We ordered Fried Green Tomatoes, which were razor thin! Our dinner was disappointing. I ordered Shrimp & Sausage Pilau, but the sausage tasted old, so I didn't eat it. Additionally, it lacked the spiciness mentioned on the menu. My wife's dinner was the Golden Curry, which was COLD. We went for Easter dinner , joined the waitlist so only had to wait about 10 minutes once our family of 5 arrived . The food was great and for the price you can not beat the sirloin steaks cooked perfectly and large portion side salad included if you choose as your side . my son got the Salmon and throughly enjoyed it . Huge piece of yellowtail and just an overall unique dish. The Scallop Cavatelli had to have been one of the best seafood dishes I have ever had. It was rich and decadent. I am not sure if they hand roll the pasta in house, but the pasta tasted so fresh. It had ample outdoor and indoor seating and staff were very helpful in their recommendations when ordering. We ended up getting the shrimp nachos, the fresh catch of the day, and the anchor burger. Food came out pretty fast and very tasty! The standout though was the shrimp nachos, served with cilantro crema and lobster cheese sauce on top that really put great flavor in the dish! Food was quite pricey but I guess that's expected on any popular tourist strip. Would go again to get their shrimp nachos for sure!
