This was our first time trying The Flying Biscuit in Greenville. My daughter recommended because they've tried it other places and never been disappointed. Well Greenville can now be added to that list because the food was amazing. Now it was a lil disappointing that busy downtown didn't have more then 2 servers but our waitresses tried her best to keep up. Our food still came out hot and delicious, now their drinks are another story, bit pricey and watered down so I would never order another alcoholic beverage here but will return for the food and service. The waitress hands probably were tied because we asked if we could replace it for something else because $14 is a lot for a small drinks that's not good so that was a waste and not even trying to offer a replacement instead she offered to charge me for another drink. Definitely not. Nice outdoor seating.

First time eating breakfast here. The food was okay . However the sides were not good at all the grits had to much cheese in them. Plain grits with butter would have been better. The macaroni and cheese brownies ( looked like brownies they had no taste bland) the fruit side I got was okay the fruit tasted like the fruit wasn't ripe and a lot crunchy. The entrees themselves were pretty good. A lot of food for the price. Family friendly. Our waitress was pretty nice. Do i recommend? Hmm let's just say that I would just leave it up to other people to try it and see if they like it. Because sometimes other people's opinions and reviews don't really matter because your experience may be better or different. I don't think i will ever be back .

Damn, do I love the creamy, dreamy grits! I hadn't been to a Flying Biscuit Cafe in over 10 years so I was excited that it was an option that was walkable in downtown Greenville. We went on Saturday morning, we were sat right away by a hostess with a personality of a wet towel. Does that sound rude? Yes but I also tried to approach her able there being no toilet paper in the bathroom and she just looked at me so that's that. Anywho, once sat we waited awhile for our server. She was on point and peppy but the process seemed to take foreeeever. Stoked that the food was still delicious (plus they have a lot bigger if a menu now!) but hopefully will be a little quicker next time I visit when I'm in the area.

Incredible breakfast we had with our friends (4 of us) in the charming Downtown area of Greenville. (Walking distance from Embassy Suites)...Flying Biscuit Cafe reminds me of a Mellow Mushroom of Brunch/Breakfast. Lots of groovy tunes and positive vibes from the staff and servers. Smiles and teamwork to provide your food hot and steamy. Cool artwork on the walls that add to the charm. We had the following: Stuffed French toast Breakfast- white cheddar cheese grits (creamy and heavenly), scrambled eggs (warm and soft), tall biscuit with apple butter (delish), chicken sausage patties (yummy) with the Gigantic stuffed French toast with crème cheese and strawberry glaze. All fantastic. Honey Butter Chicken Waffle- This was my favorite!!! The waffle was crunchy on the outside and super soft in the middle, dripping with honey butter. The fried chicken was HAND battered, fresh and cooked to crispness. This is not frozen chicken that is thrown in a fryer. I will order this every time! We ordered a side dish of Moon Dusted Potatoes that hit the spot with flavor. They are cubed and look ordinary but once you pop into your mouth, the flavor explodes! Soooo unexpectedly good. Had to RAVE over this simple side dish Great 5 star experience and feel Flying Biscuit is by far the best brunch restaurant in DT Greennville!

The best grits!!! Came here with my son, traveling from out of town, and decided to check this place out. At the time I saw it only had 3 stars but we still wanted to give it a try and the menu looked very good. I got the eggs, biscuit and gravy. It was so great. I have to say these are the best grits I have ever had. The day before we went to Biscuit Head, which wasn't as tasty. I recommend giving this place a try, especially if you love grits.

Slow service, rude hostess, and dirty silverware. Food was decent, but not worth the pain. We won't be back.

Right by Fluor Field with a fun, lively vibe. We sat outside, which was clean, comfortable, and a great spot to hang out before an event. Service was fantastic. David, our server, was friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable, and really helped elevate the experience. For food, we started with the wings (dry rub and Jamaican jerk). The flavors were decent, but the wings themselves were rubbery and a bit underwhelming, especially considering the price point. One standout though... the ranch dressing. Easily some of the best I've had. The breakfast tacos were good overall, and the chimichurri was fresh and flavorful. I think adding a creamy component would have taken them up another level. The sweet potato fries were fantastic. The chicken and biscuit was decent. The Nashville-style chicken had good flavor, but the tenders were on the smaller side, making the portion feel a bit lacking. The biscuit itself was solid. The tallow fries were also well done, and the Lefty's sauce was a nice addition. One unique touch at the end. You're given the option to send a postcard, and they handle the postage and mailing for you. A really fun and memorable detail. Overall, a good spot with great service and atmosphere, though some of the food execution and portion sizes could be improved.

After spending the day downtown, we went back to refresh and headed over to Coupe's Corner for the evening. When we first pulled up and saw a line outside, we almost changed our minds. Thankfully, we stayed because the line moved surprisingly fast. We probably waited no more than 10 minutes, and we even met some really nice people while waiting. Once inside, we quickly realized the space is much larger than it appears from the outside. In addition to the indoor area, there's a patio space in the back that gives you even more room to enjoy the atmosphere. It was definitely crowded, but in a good way. The energy was great, the crowd was mature and age-appropriate, and the overall vibe was exactly what we were looking for. The music was on point, with different music playing inside and outside, giving guests options depending on their mood. The drinks were phenomenal, and our bartender was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. Although they serve food, we didn't get a chance to try it because the kitchen was closing for the night. Since they're located downtown and close at midnight, the kitchen closes accordingly. However, our bartender shared that they're opening a second location that will stay open later, which means longer kitchen hours as well. We also had the opportunity to meet the owner, who was very friendly and welcoming. Service, atmosphere, music, and drinks were all top-tier. The only minor thing worth mentioning is that the hallway connecting the indoor and outdoor areas is a bit narrow and can become congested, especially since it's also where the restrooms are located. Overall, this place gets a solid 10 out of 10 from me. Great service, great drinks, great music, and an amazing atmosphere. The vibe was absolutely vibing, and I would definitely return the next time I'm in Greenville.

Let's talk about the drinks because whew the key lime pie martini was everything. Sweet, smooth, and dangerously good. And the strawberry cheesecake shot? Baby. Dessert in a glass! You can tell they put thought into their cocktail menu. Now the food? Chef's kiss. The glazed shrimp had the perfect balance of sweet and savory, and the seared ahi tuna was fresh and flavorful. But those maple sautéed Brussels sprouts? I could've ordered a second plate just for myself. I also love that they switch it up with events, R&B nights are a whole mood, and if you catch them on a Wednesday, the outdoor patio is the perfect spot to unwind. Overall, Coupes Corner delivered on food, drinks, and energy. Definitely a spot I'll be back to whenever I'm in Greenville!

It is found tucked behind the building with only a small, letter-sized paper sign marking the entrance. No flashy signage, no obvious storefront, which adds to the appeal if you're into that kind of hunt. Walking up to it late at night can be a little intimidating but it is well lit which I greatly appreciated! Once inside, the space is dimly lit and small, which makes for a genuinely intimate setting. I'd say it's good for a quieter, more conversational vibe rather than a loud night out. We went with the bartender's choice: pick a base liquor, then two words to describe what you're after. I went with vodka and "slightly sweet, refreshing," for $18. The bartender nailed the brief but it wasn't a drink I'd think about again or specifically order by name. Solid execution, forgettable flavor. Service was the real standout. Our bartender was excellent at walking us through the concept and translating vague requests into something that actually worked. That, plus the atmosphere, is enough to bring me back to see what else is on the menu since we made it there just in time for last call so I ended up only having one drink.
