First visit here today with a friend. We arrived early so seated quickly. Sat in a booth. There are tables available too. My friend wanted soup but was told no soup today as its hot outside Thats a shame as many items on the menu have soup listed. My friend decided on the Chicken Salad Croissant served with a pasta side salad. I had the Ham and Cheese Panini with pasta side salad . The restaurant got extremely busy and loud it was hard to hear ourselves talk. Guests were waiting for tables inside and outside of the restaurant. Food is very basic not fine dining but nice for a change. read more

Always a good place for lunch. They get busy, so go early if you can. The chicken Caesar club sandwich on a croissant is huge and was good, but difficult to eat with large chunks of chicken rather than being chopped or shredded. The Italian pasta salad that comes with it was very tasty. My friends ordered a piece of sweet potato cake for dessert. It was huge with lots of frosting and delicious! Would love to try more of their cakes. Service was very friendly and efficient. read more

Delicious local spot for lunch right off Main Street in fountain Inn. Loved the chicken salad sandwich and some of us chose the broccoli salad and I chose the pasta salad. Both great, but the broccoli is slightly better. They did not have fries in service today but seemed to have thin cut fries. I had to top off the lunch with their homemade hummingbird cake which was delicious and light. read more

Stopped in after a business seminar on a weekday, and chose it based on reviews. Could not have been more pleased. True southern charm and hospitality as far as the staff went, and the food was fantastic! Fresh and very tasty... felt like I was eating in my grandmothers kitchen. Love this place. Best chicken salad I've ever had and I get it on a croissant which is also amazing. I'm sure everything else is great at least everyone with me says it is but the chicken salad is my choice each time. Save room for dessert or get it to go because their cakes are also the best in the upstate. I've never been a fan of coconut cake but was convinced to try it and it's the best cake I've ever had too. It's 25 minutes for me but it's worth it. Probably best for my waistline this one isn't closer. Very inexpensive too. read more

Passing through this tiny town looking for lunch, we parked and begin the search. The downtown is one street (Main Street of course) of brick storefronts. The first business we came to was Sweet Catherine's and upon entering we knew we had found the right place. It was noon and every table in the main room full - many by first responders - a good sign. Where the locals eat. Friendly, quick service brought a chicken philly and low Country Reuben with sides of watermelon, broccoli salad & pasta salad. Then back on the road south. read more

This restaurant has always been one of my go to's when I wanted a burger and homemade potato chips. But on todays visit I learned that those wonderful and delicious chips are no more. Which is sad. Based on that alone I don't think I'll be back to Sweet Catherine's in the future. Maybe it's due to supply chain needs or maybe they changed ownership. Not sure. The service is always good. The wait staff are on point and so helpful. The ambiance is as always loud but not overpowering. read more

My favorite place for lunch! Sweet Catherine's is a charming local eatery with a hometown feel, from the storefront to the local artwork on the walls. The food is top-notch, freshly prepared with quality ingredients. Service is always welcoming and friendly. A few of my favorites are the fried green tomatoes, the black bean & corn quesadilla, the house salad (especially with strawberries when they're in season!), and of course, the sweet tea. The downtown area of Fountain Inn is quaint with a little bit of charm. Small area with shops and restaurants lining the street. Stopped in for lunch at 1:50 and luckily they were still serving food. I made sure to ask if they were still serving lunch because I hate to be an intrusion. I worked in the industry so I know the feeling of last minute visitors. I got the Reuben. The sandwich was good but the chips were greasy and some had grease dripping from them. Service was non existent. She basically took my order, hid in the kitchen, brought my food out and went back to the kitchen. Water glass was empty for a while. I got there at 1:50 but was done eating by 10 after, so it wasn't like I was holding them up. Not sure if this is typical, but I would have liked some better service. read more

This great restaurant has limited hours but it so so worth making the time to enjoy a fabulous salad, satisfying sandwich or juicy burger! The staff is personable, professional and very good at making each guest feel special. Atmosphere is comfortable, simple and location is central Fountain inn. Menu is perfect for lunch and the food came quickly and was perfectly cooked. Make sure you leave room for dessert! The generous servings of cake are mouth watering delicious! We were looking for a light lunch so my niece selected the chicken Caesar Club sandwich, which we split along with a pasta salad. Food was good. My niece ordered a side of homemade potato chips that weren't completely crisp, with some downright raw as far as I could see. It didn't stop her from eating most of them; I would have sent them back. We will give it another try next time we are in that area. read more

Sweet Catherine's is a life line if you work in Fountain Inn, I probably eat here at least once a week, and I usually bring my lunch!! The food is always fresh, delicious, and abundant.
