    Steak tips poutine

We came here without a reservation and were seated right away. Service was friendly but didn't come by very often so we never got a drink refill and absolutely would've ordered more rounds. The chicken nachos appetizer was pretty decent and I'd say evenly layered with toppings, it was enough for a table of 3 for an appetizer. I shared the steak tips poutine with my sister and it was a fantastic and flavorful entree. It's a busy, sandy, loud and fun beach bar vibe so this is a great spot for large parties etc. I would be back for sure

Highly recommend the fried fish sandwich, which contains the same fish as the fish and chips. Both were excellent choices. The fries were good enough but the fish was great. The fish tacos were just okay, arrived a little cold (and we were a party of only 3). It is outdoor seating so beware on hot days. The seating is pretty crowded and the waiters were very busy but the service was okay.

Next to the harbor as we walked along we spotted this hopping place called the Sand Bar and Grill. It's an outside & Inside bar and restaurant we learned later about the inside as we were outside on the harbor walk. When you walk in the walking and seating area is covered in sand. (Outside only) It's a very nice area except you can't see the harbor really and it is extremely crowded. They make it as comfortable as possible with tables and umbrellas but it a different experience. Not bad, just different sitting and walking in sand. That being said, the service is great, the people are great and the drinks are delicious! We did get an appetizer "loaded tots" very good! If you like bacon, it's in there! It wasn't until we were leaving did we see the inside part. It's very nice and, no sand. So either way you like it, with or without sand I think you will enjoy the experience. We have piña coladas, Bahama mamas, and mudslides. The mudslide was interesting because it was made with peanut butter whiskey. It was my first time having it. It was very good.

Very fun vibe eating in the sand by the harbor. Friendly staff and excellent lobster rolls

Sand bar and grill is a great lunch spot on a hot day. It is right on the water and there are lots of shaded tables so you won't be sweltering in the heat, but will still get to lookout at the ocean. The menu was pretty big and had something for everyone. Salads, sandwiches, seafood, drinks, etc. The service was also great and people were very friendly. It is more of a touristy spot but not as crowded as some other ones. I really liked the Caesar wrap and my mother who loves lobster rolls said this one is great. It was a little pricey but nothing outrageous for being on MV.

Decent food and drinks, efficient staff, and a stellar view. Food. 3.5/5 It is what it is, a tourist trap. We ordered fried scallops and a burger, both came with fries. It was decent. We also ordered a frozen marg and a colada drink which hit the spot. Service. 4/5 Efficient and friendly. You can tell they want you in and out quickly.

This is a carry-out only restaurant, and they allow you to place orders ahead for pickup. My friend and I walked in and both ordered the oxtail dinner, and I also ordered a side of plantains. The oxtail came with a healthy side of cabbage and rice and peas. The flavor on the oxtail was very bland, and the meat itself was somehow both fatty and tough. The rice and peas, cabbage, and plantain were both okay. I don't see myself coming back again, but if I did, I would stick to the fried chicken, as that seems to be a popular item.

Lol But I went with it. We called the order in while we were lounging on the beach for pick up. This is a pick-up only spot as I didn't see anywhere to sit and eat. Items ordered were the Oxtails, Thai Salmon, Blackened Shrimp. My friend that ordered the blackened shrimp was the only one disappointed. The oxtails were amazing and tender. I paid .75 for a side of Jerk sauce. The peas/rice were a bit dry; but the jerk sauce helped. I even had leftovers for the next day. I also got the coffee drink with Vanilla & Bailey's, I think it was called "Jamaican me Crazy" That was a bit disappointing because they just handed us a cup with ice for us to pour ourselves. I was hoping for freshly brewed.

The restaurant is so cozy, the service is always quick and friendly, they have an outstanding tequila selection and the food is tremendous. I went with a big group of girlfriends on Wednesday night so we were able to sample a plethora of dishes from the current menu and let me tell you, they all slapped. We had the taleggio agnolotti, rabbit pappardelle, sunchokes, foccacia, halibut, scallops, pork schnitzel and duck leg cassoulet. Truly all of the food was outstanding but my favorites were the cassoulet, rabbit pasta and the halibut. The pork was good but do note that it is a positively enormous amount of food! We were so full that we almost skipped dessert but we had to try just a couple of things so we ordered the Dubai chocolate ice cream and the sticky toffee pudding which were both great but the ice cream was the favorite. I love Sweet Life and wish I could transport it home with me to eat there year round!

Ordered some drinks and relaxed. The Jasmine Blossom was refreshing and tasty. The old fashioned was your run of the mill old fashioned with essence of burnt butter taste to it. For apps, we had the half a dozen local oysters and the Hamachi Crudo. The oysters were tasty and fresh! I think the sauce was house made and I really wished I ordered a full dozen. The hamachi was fresh too! The honeydew was a bit underripe but all the other components were amazing. Oh we also got some focaccia bread. The bread is skippable, was not a fan. For our mains we had the gnocchi and scallops! The gnocchi came piping hot. Chunks of octopus spread throughout. Seasoned well, great texture. Gnocchi cooked just right. The real star was the scallops dish! Beautiful dish. Each scallop cooked in buttery goodness. Sitting on delicious sauce. The maitake mushrooms were cooked to perfection. Good crust and flavors. For dessert we shared the grapenut ice cream. Light essence of smoked maple flavor. Lots of crunch with the cereal. More crunch than ice cream. Service was a bit slow but very helpful and informative of dish options. Tasting menu available.
