The view at The Flying Bridge Restaurant is absolutely beautiful. Sitting by the water, you can see the boats gently moving and feel the fresh ocean breeze. THE scenery alone makes this place special it's peaceful, relaxing, and perfect for a nice meal. What made the experience even better was our water, Glenn. he was very friendly, professional, and attentive. He greeted us with smile, made sure we were comfortable, and checked on us at the right time without being overwhelming. He explained the menu clearly and gave great recommendations, which really helped us enjoy our meal. overall, the service and the beautiful location made this a great experience. This restaurant was recommended to us by a local lady at our resort. The stuffed lobster was filled with scallops and shrimp. I enjoyed the huge seafood platter. Sushi roll, fried oysters w belly were bland in flavor and small. My friend said it's end of season and the oysters are now on ozenpic Alayna's the miso black salmon which was overcooked. Food and view were exceptional, service was severely lacking. When we first sat down our server came and said hi, took our drink order. If I had known it would be our ONLY chance to order drinks I would have ordered two. We out in our orders after our drinks arrived, which err good, not great. Apps arrived timely and were pretty good. We had the muscles. The problems started there, my partners food was delivered to the table 9 minutes before mine. It was rude and awkward to watch him sit there with a plate full of hot food getting colder and colder by the moment, waiting for mine. When mine came my partners food complained about the wait difference and was completely blown off. Our drinks had been empty for about 15 minutes at that point and no one came to ask if we would like another. Once we finished our meals (they were delicious) and waitress came by and offered the check. Still didn't ask if we wanted another drink, didn't offer us a desert menu or coffee, just the check on the table and walked away. If she had been more attentive she could have nearly doubled her bill as we were out for the first time in a year after having a baby, and were ready to spend some time and have some cocktails and treats. We ended up stopping for ice cream on the way home instead. Overall disappointed with experience. Likely will not return. read more

Visited on a Sunday evening, and it was packed, but only waited 10-15 minutes for a table, and every seat in the house has a view! Food was incredible - the onion rings are a must for the table. I want to share my experience at the Flying Bridge restaurant in Cape Cod. This was unfortunately one of the worst dining experiences I've had. Despite many empty tables, no one came to ask if we needed seating. I was waiting for a long time with my wife and 4-year-old child. Eventually, I had to go and ask someone for help. A staff member told me that someone would come and seat us, but after waiting even longer, no one showed up. This was very disappointing, especially when dining out as a family. Omg the food was so good. We came in a Saturday that also happened to be prom so parking was a serious struggle but worth the wait. We each had a cocktail. Yummy food, a great view, and good service! We've come here several times over the last few years and the food is consistently good. I usually get the clam plate ($37 as of summer 2022). The clams are huge and juicy. Perfectly fried delightful bites! Little pricey, you can definitely get cheaper clams in the cape but the ambiance is quite nice here. I also tried the tuna our last visit ($22). The tuna was good quality but it just didn't do it for me. Worth a try! read more

I've been here a few times during trips to Falmouth. I've only been for drinks and light bites at the bar and it was during the off-season (once in mid-November and twice in late December). First of all - I love that this place is open in the off-season as that's not a given on the Cape. There were still a good number of people there all 3 times I've gone. There were obviously a lot of locals who knew each other and folks just stopping in for a casual bite and a drink (or many). The cocktails I've had have all been really good and strong! I've had many of the martinis on their drink menu (cosmo, lemon drop martini, espresso martini, french martini, etc) and they've all been boozy and delicious. There was a trend going the last time I was there (late Dec) when multiple people were getting the frozen drinks and it was hilarious. The bartender didn't complain - he just kept going over to that funky frozen drink machine and making the magic happen. We've only had really friendly service at the bar - no complaints there! And while we've mainly been by for afternoon cocktails, we did get the oysters and shrimp one day (both were fresh and divine) and a side of fries another time (hot and crispy!). I wouldn't hesitate to order more food here the next time I'm in town. Lastly, this place is right on the harbor, so you can get a really nice view when you're sippin' and eatin'. This was a great spot for lunch on the water. Looking at all the boats was very relaxing. The food and service were great. My friend and I shared the clam chowder and a fisherman's platter. Both were delicious. The clam chowder was loaded with clams and had wonderful flavor. The Fishermans platter consisted of haddock, whole belly, clams, scallops, and shrimp. The Flying Bridge has been a long time destination for us. Post pandemic and under new ownership everything has changed in a very positive way including the branding, menu, and drinks. Service has always been fabulous. Friendly servers always elevate the experience (Norman!). Water views and a breeze can't be beat, assuming you're sitting outside. Let's talk menu. One of the new additions this year is Sushi, and the rolls I ordered were amazing. Highly recommend the SOS and Rainbow Rolls! They were both really tasty , but the SOS stood out. They offer a full sushi menu, in addition to all the standards. Of course you can't review The Flying Bridge without mentioning the huge stack of perfectly battered and fried onion rings as a table starter. The desserts looked amazing at our neighbors table.
