    Sweet & Sour Chicken

It is so convenient for a college student since this place is right on campus. The menu has a ton to choose from and so far everything I've tried has been excellent! The same guy at the cashier always delivers quick and effective service. The food also comes out fast and steaming. There are no tables inside, just chairs for you to wait on. I usually get the grab-and-go plates because it has everything I want and it's very filling! I've also tried the baos which are always savory. I will be coming more often throughout my college career.

Came here with my husband to get some dinner before a Rockets game. The food was alright but in my opinion a little overpriced and we waited a long time for our food to come out. There isn't seating in the restaurant so you have to take your food to-go. I got the egg drop and the chicken lo mein. The egg drop soup was pretty good but the lo mein had a lot of oil. My husband got the orange chicken and said it was okay but the sauce was artificial tasting.

Convenient spot for Chinese food on campus. Nothing spectacular but good, fresh, and consistent. I recommend getting a grab n go plate which is the entree with steamed rice and an egg roll for around $10 with tax.

Good for a place on campus and not crazy expensive. If you're craving greasy asian food this is the place for you. The worker is very nice and super helpful. The sticky rice shumai has a LOT of rice and can definitely be a meal on its own. Everything comes out hot and fresh.

Had to wait forever for my food. They said 20 minutes. It was 40 minutes. Order ahead of time. The Bao was huge but on the dry side.

BEST DUMPLINGS IN HOUSTON! I've tried dumplings from different places but none compare to these. They're always freshly made, really big and a good portion for the price. The place is small but the service is great. It's right by U of H which was really convenient when I was in school. I keep coming back because they're actually amazing! Everyone that I've gone with has loved them as well. If you're thinking about going just do it, you won't regret it :)

Amazing food. Dumplings were awesome. Also had a spicy chicken dish that was great. Hard to find but worth it.

Food was just not impressive. Crispy ribs were ok, just seems lacking in flavor and all I could really taste was the smoke. I was thinking they would be dripping in sauce, but they weren't. Not really falling off the bone or anything as far as tender. 6.2.10 Brussel sprouts were not great. Very bland and a little mushy. 3/10 Salmon was pretty good, feel like this dish really hit the Asian fusion theme. Nice apricot sauce or something similar with seaweed and pickles. 7.1/10. Chicken Karaage was phenomenal, but an appetizer can't save the whole meal. Dipping sauce was awesome, perfectly fried and balanced flavor. 8.7/10 Con fritters were also a must try. No notes. Try it if you like corn. 9.1/10 Potatoes were also very nice. At the end of the day they are just taters though. 6.6/10. Wanted to really like this place heard great things. Would check it out again to try more things in the menu and the brisket which is only served after 4pm.

The crab rangoon burrito didn't really taste like crab rangoon. It was extremely creamy and heavily filled with cream cheese almost to the point of being overwhelming. After a few bites, it started to feel a bit sickening, and I don't think I could finish more than one slice. It was missing that traditional savory, umami flavor, and instead tasted only like cream cheese. The outer layer also didn't hold up well. It wasn't strong or crispy enough to support the filling, so everything felt soft and fell apart. It honestly made it difficult to eat without a spoon (which they did include). It was also overpriced at $16. The service was good and the ambiance was pretty standard.

We came with a group of 18 people, and the bill ended up being around $972. Unfortunately, most of the dishes were more impressive visually than flavor-wise. The colorful green fried rice looked unique, but honestly just tasted like regular fried rice. The green beans were overcooked, so they lost the crunch and sweetness that usually make that dish enjoyable. The green curry was extremely spicy, but outside of the heat, it wasn't very memorable. The shaking beef dish looked amazing presentation-wise, but the sauce was too sweet for a savory dish, and the crispy rice pairing just didn't work well for me. I initially thought the duck dish was Peking duck, but it was actually the Jasmine Tea Smoked Duck. Even so, everyone at my table agreed we still preferred the traditional Peking duck style. The duck itself lacked flavor for us, and the skin was soft instead of having the crisp texture we were hoping for. The only dishes I genuinely enjoyed were the soup dumplings, cucumber salad, and fried dumplings. Most of the other dishes at the table were barely touched. If you're looking for colorful, aesthetically pleasing food and great presentation, you may enjoy this place. But if flavor is your main priority, this spot just wasn't for me personally.
