Great, friendly service. Loud, kinda sports bar-ish, environment with lots of tv's for viewing. Seemed to have a quick and efficient system with all customers ordering at the bar and food/drinks being delivered to their numbered tables. The food was good - just a couple of things that could be improved. We both picked the MSG pizza which included mushrooms, sausage and giardiniera. We had NO IDEA giardiniera is spicy! Like SUPER HOT. As much as I tried to pick it off my pizza, it made it so hard to eat and kinda ruined the experience. I'm sure I would have loved the pizza had I known to pick something else without spice! Maybe put a note on the glass at the front and on the menu designating spicy ingredients. Also, the caesar salad came out absolutely doused in dressing. Fortunately, we were both cool with that, but fair warning to others they may want to request it on the side. Overall though, cool pizza spot. Looking forward to giving it another try next time we're back in town and trying something NOT so spicy. read more

The building is well lit with staff greeting you as you enter. The staff asked politely if f we wanted to be sat at a table or the bar and were helpful in explaining the ordering process (walk to the bar to order, pay, then it will be brought to the table). The food was delicious and relatively prompt. The jerk sauce was both sweet and spicy as expected and the garlic parm sauce was wonderfully tame when paired with the heat of the jerk sauce. The wings come with the choice of two sauces. I could have eaten so much of the garlic cheese bread. It was so cheesy and the pull was wonderfully delightful as my wife and I enjoyed our appetizer. The pizza was huge and tasted great with the right amount of meat distribution to ensure each bite got something of all flavors. The sticker shock of the price is quickly worn off upon receiving the very generous portions of food. We had previously tried a lunch here where it is by the slice with drink and chips and were eager to try some of the other items on the menu that are only at dinner time. The only negative I would say is the staff are maybe overly eager to check in on your tables and could perhaps time their check-ins a little better. I stopped in on a whim last weekend while shopping in Goshen, and was wowed!! Great atmosphere and amazing pizza!! I was excited to bring my wife and two teenagers to enjoy amazing pizza in a vibrant atmosphere. And then... got there tonight with my wife and kids to find that you must be 21+ to dine on the property. So sad. Great food! Great for 21+. NOT FAMILY friendly. I do not like to leave bad reviews but this place is new and I really want them to take some constructive criticism because their pizza is the only decent casual pizza spot in town. I'll start with the good: it's okay pizza and they have selections for a variety of dietary restrictions. The not so good: the average casual slice in NYC is about $3. The Fold is charging a little less than California and Seattle prices for an "okay" slice in northern Indiana. I get it, supply and demand, The Fold currently has the only supply so they can set their prices. But what happens when demand goes down? This brings me to my other issue with this spot: the place is just confused in how it's run. I have only done takeout of full pies, but the first 2 times were unnerving and there were unsafe practices, but they fixed those so I will move on, mostly. The unsafe practice: my first time in they weren't taking phone orders so i walked in to order. They didn't ask for my name and when I walked back in to pick up a staff member was shouting my full given name as it is on my birth certificate and my credit card to the whole restaurant. This is a dangerous practice, and they since moved to a number system which is why I am okay with moving past this. The past 2 times there was a general lack of communication. Last time I came in, asked for my pie, the cashier went to the kitchen. When they came back I was told it wasn't finished and to wait. I waited ten minutes before the front of the house realized my pie was in front of me (and them) the whole time. This time I called in for an order at 5:40 pm on a Friday and was told "there is a 7pm slot open if that works." I asked for clarification, and they confirmed my pizza would be ready at 7. I came in a few minutes after 7, right as the kitchen was bringing up two pizzas in boxes. I gave my name to the cashier and was told my pizza wasn't finished, "there's a 15 minute window." I was given a number and told to sit. I paid, grumbled about how disappointed I was about the service, left and waited 5 minutes. When I returned I was told my pizza was ready and was coincidentally exactly where the kitchen staff left the pizza when I walked in. Was it the same pizza? I don't know. But if it was, it would be exactly what happened last time I was there: no communication between front and back of the house. If it was not, it was just poor service. A casual place doesn't reserve "spots" for pickup, and if they do, they don't ask for a 15 minute window. Especially if there's already an hour and 20 minute wait on the pizza. I get that this place might want to be a beer and slice joint, which is fine. They don't allow anyone under 21 to dine in, so that tracks. However, if that's the business model, run with it and stop pretending to be a pizza place with a full bar. Cut the carryout all together or streamline communication between front and back of house. read more

Have wanted to come for a long time! I'm a NYC pizza girl. If you can't fold it., it's not the real deal. I'm diabetic, and pizza is usually a no go, but HALLELUJAH this is sourdough crust., so my blood sugar went DOWN!!! Who knew?? I'll be back!! read more

I want to like this place, I really do. It's super cool. Especially for a smallish town like Goshen. Maybe that's the problem though. I'm new in town, moved here from Chicago. I'm used to genuinely cool bars there where the staff is friendly and attentive. I think bars in towns like Goshen tend to put on the cool image, emulating what they seem to be aspiring to, but not realizing that it's really cool give equal attention to customers you don't know as you do to your friends who come into the bar. Both times I've been here, there were maybe 10 people patronizing and five staff. I ordered a beer and a couple slices of pizza and sat down to watch the game. Someone was quick to take my empty plates away, even when I was still finishing my last bite, but they seemed more interested in socializing with their friends than asking if I wanted another beer. I've honestly never been in a bar before where nobody asked if I wanted another when my glass was empty. I get it if they're slammed, but they really had nothing to do. I saw two of the staff sit down to play pac man, and another watching the ball game and all of them chatting with their friends. I guess if they don't know you personally, you're invisible. Ok, I'll try the next bar down the road. If you're the owner of this place reading this, just tell your people to pay attention. It's great they can play ms pac man during work hours, but your customers notice. read more
