The 20" pie is gargantuan nearly requiring extra help to lift it into my car. Overall, the pie was tasty and a decent value although I don't know what the competition offers since they were closed on the night I ordered. Apparently, takeout only so I was bewildered as to why the joint appeared unkempt and not clean. I also felt the ingredients were marginal so we're losing stars quickly. Way better than the national chains, however, that seduce the masses into believing a $6 cheese-stuffed crust and all that nonsense is pizza. SOS with tomato sauce, IMO. Cold night? Don't wanna cook? I got severe food poisoning from this restaurant. I'm thinking it was from the salad. Will never go back.

Ordered takeout and service was extremely fast and friendly. Overall, this is one of the better pizzas I have had in the area. "Thin" crust here is not actually thin. It's just a thinner hand tossed. But it was very well topped. Only main complaint is with the addition of the garlic. They use pre minced jarred garlic and you can taste the jar. If it were fresh garlic it would make a huge difference. Overall- pretty good pie! Would try again. read more

I left a very good review in 2020. But in the last year things haven't been so good with them. I ordered at 6:52 p.m. on a Saturday night. I called at about 8:20, still no food. We had ordered a Pizza and wings. The person said he should be there now. The delivery driver showed up about 8:40 p.m. The wings were cold, the pizza was burnt and no longer warm at all. Missing a lot of cheese on the top, there were plenty of meat toppings. We ate the pizza at room temperature (ugh) and heated up the wings in the microwave. I paid in cash and still extra tipped the driver. But I don't think we will continue to be a customer any longer. I worked in the food industry before I retired. Ordered a deep dish meat pizza, a 8" mushroom, onion and steak and a cheese bread. Arrived 1hour and 45 minutes later. It was cold, the custom pizza I ordered was a cheese pizza and the food was not good. Total was $70, it was a delivery. I would not recommend. read more

I'm never ordering from here again. I placed an order online at 12:30 to be delivered at 5:30. 6:00 rolls around, and I still don't have my pizza. I call the place and am polite but firm. The teenage girl manager still takes issue with my tone, tells me that I, the paying customer, don't need to get an attitude with her, and then hangs up on me and won't take my call when I try to call back, even though they have my money, and I don't have my order. I drive down there, and the manager hides in the back and makes the kids who work here deal with me. I am getting it remade and getting my money refunded, but f this. Don't recommend this restaurant, I thought they would make fresh food but they gave me old and spoil subs, at first you couldn't smell the spoil until you eat it then you can taste it because the chicken ranch subs shouldn't taste like spoil food. Home of humongous pizza! I made the mistake of purchasing a large pizza for 3 of us - that sucker fed us for days! I did think $20 for pizza was expensive but then realized I had literally purchased a gigantic pizza! $20 was a deal! The dough is hand-made and fresh and the pepperoni some of the best in the area. If you are feeling indulgent you must try their Chicago style deep dish pizza. It is so good and tastes like a real Chicago pizza. The smallest size will easily feed 2-3 people. Just make sure to allow 45 minutes before you pick up since they take longer to bake. The breadsticks with marina are also a favorite of ours. read more

We have given this place numerous chances since we moved here nearly seven years ago and the last experience will likely be our last. They run some good deals but there is were the positives end. Our last meal there consisted of baked spaghetti and and an Italian beef sandwich. We had previously given up on their pizzas as they were generally devoid of any taste. The spaghetti was cooked however the cheese was barely melted. More like a gelatinous glob than cheese with some crisp. The Italian beef was salty and on a bun that felt a few days old. The cheese wasn't flavorful and the au jus had blobs of fat. Frankly quite disappointing and neither one was completely consumed. Oh how nice it would be to have a real pizzeria in Goshen. read more

In town on business and I decided I did not want to go out to eat, so I ordered in. I'm so glad I did the pizza here is awesome! The weight of the pizza really took me by surprise, and once I open the box I realize why it was so heavy. This pie must of had a quarter of an inch of mozzarella cheese all over the top of it, straight to the edge of a crust. There were so much cheese that the toppings of pineapple and meatball that I got were not even visible. Between the taste, amount of toppings, and level of helpfulness from the delivery driver this is a must-have pizza experience. There is one other Pizza place that I would rank alongside with this one as my top favorite and it's located 30 minutes outside of Coldwater, Michigan. read more

Enjoyed Massimos little over a year ago and decided to try them again since I've moved closer to Goshen. After this experience, I will stick with our usual pizza place. Placed an online order stating I wanted pepp/saus on one half and ham/pineapple on the other. Even triple checked before placing and once I received the receipt. Submitted order online anf noticed it didn't tell me a ready time so i had to call and ask. Went and picked up pizza, made the unfortunate mistake of not checking it before I left and got home to find ALL of the toppings on one side with just cheese on the other! So I immediately called and explained what we received and that I triple checked the order online. Lady said ok we can remake it for you I said great, how long will it take? She answered 45 minutes which is what I waited for the original order! I said wait, so you messed up my order and I have to wait the full time again? Then I heard mumbling and she came back and said ok we can have it ready in 25 minutes. Better answer. I returned to pick up my corrected order only to be asked if I knew what went wrong with the order.....umm yea! I already told your employee on the phone! So I had to bring up the order on my phone, as well as the photo I took of the pizza I received (I ate some of the cheese to hold me over as I'm 4 months pregnant and was hungry). Then I was told oh ok we can give you the remake....damn straight you can!! Excellent pizza, they do not skimp on ingredients. Excellent flavor and crust. Takes a while but good things come to those who wait. A gem of a pizzeria aromas are tantalizing too.. Too bad they don't serve wine or beer to pass wait time. Locals know to call ahead and pick up, we didn't. We wanted takeout and will return again next time we are in Goshen. read more

I tried Massimo's tonight for the first time. We ordered a 12" for carryout and it was delicious! I was so pleased by the quality of this pizza and it was a welcome change from the larger pizza chains we usually order from. We had a coupon for free breadsticks and marinara sauce and that was also great! I have only been in the area about 8 months now and have yet to find a good thin crust pizza. The pizza here is like eating a frozen Digiorno pizza mostly dough. Maybe the locals are use to a heavy thick crust pizza but I will take a pass on this place. read more

If only there was a zero Star option. Walked into this establishment at 7:55 PM, their website advertizes a closing time of 9 PM. After waiting in line for a few minutes, the 15-year-old behind the counter asked me if I was ordering? I replied, "yes I am". Then she left the counter and consulted with the other two 15 or 16-year-olds running the place and came back to the counter and announced to me that they just took their last order a few minutes ago because they've already cleaned everything up. I thought about challenging her and stating that they are open until 9 PM and they should serve people until 9 PM, but then I really didn't want a couple of 16-year-olds making my food after I've made them stay past what they wanted to work. The best deep dish pizza outside of Chicago. Regular pizza is very good, as well. Regular pizza has a thicker crust (can be ordered thin) that has a great snap to it. Well balanced toppings. My wife is a crust person and this is her favorite pizza place in the area. I'm more of a sauce and toppings person, and Massimo's Chicago style pizza never disappoints. read more

Delicious pizza, including crust and sauce! The pizzas are over-sized so order a size smaller than the well-known brands. They do have a few booths to actually eat-in... but the majority is carry-out. They deliver to the Goshen area for $3.50. We look forward to trying some of the other items on their menu. The best way to describe Massimo's is "inconsistent". One visit, the pizza is outstanding, quite possibly the best in the area. Next visit, it's like, "What happened?". They use a brick oven, which gives the crust a classic texture and flavor. The sauce is very flavorful and the toppings seem to be very high quality. Just wish I knew what the end product was going to be every time. Sometimes the order is completlely wrong. Sometimes it under-baked. Sometimes they cannot measure 1/2 a pizza (we order 1/2 and 1/2). Last time they had the sauce and cheese right out to the edge of an under baked crust. I would recommend, but cautiously. When they are on, they are really on. When they are off, it is really bad. As a side note, their normal crust is very thick. We order it thin crust. read more

Order a pizza square cut and received it cut in triangles..told the guy taking my order send me parmesan cheese with pizza and he said ok but I never received it and along with my pizza I ordered 6 piece hot wings with ranch sauce on the side and never received the ranch sauce.. poor service wouldn't recommend only gave 1 star because I had no choice but would give no stars do not order from here you will not get what u paid for!!!! read more

Very inconsistent at times its great other times I would rather go to pizza hut. They have taken to hiring some 15- 18 year old school kids. To save on money I assume. Last pizza I got the young crew was working. After getting home I almost drove the pizza back and asked for a refund. My husband and I come back to Boston every year and must visit the North End. This year we ate here and enjoyed a fabulous meal. The antipasto was a special that night. It was a huge portion with meats and veggies drizzled with olive oil -- delicious ! We also had the mussels also delicious!
