When my laundry was delivered I found most of it was not mine. Then discovered all my jeans and other items missing. I contacted them and I returned the items that were not mine. I receive a generic response each time I have reached out for a status on my missing clothes. First I was told it would be resolved in 24 hours or up to 7 days. It has been a month. I just realized I'd left this company with a 3 star from something over 3 years ago that got resolved. I've used this company, really regularly, for probably about 4 years now, and it is magical. I have severe depression and fibromayalgia. To have a clean home with my pets I have to have help. Especially in an apartment where I have to lug heavy bags up and down to a wash room. Some days I can, often I can't. The Folde has done so much of my laundry in the last 4 years I'm going to start calling the owner 'mom.' Have there been booboos? Yes. It's still a newer company and it's small. When I started using them though they were very small and very new. Here and there things were left out or left behind on rare occasion. Pricing changed at first which I was fussy about until I wrapped my head around the new business still figuring out what was sustainable. My stuff got left at the wrong apartment once, a bag got left behind at the washing facility once. I was a huge pain in the ass both times (in fairness they had all my work scrubs lol), but everything was always sorted out with discounts to soothe any trouble, apologies, and they'll let you know what happened and how they'll fix it too if you take the time to talk to the owner which I have. As far as the service it's great. I think they're the cheapest game in town, honestly, and my stuff if always clean, smells nice, and is nicely folded. I'm moving next month, and they just did an ungodly amount of laundry (blankets, towels, quilts, comforters the animals use) for me. The level of stress that takes off me is priceless. I'd recommend the service. I notice more of their bags in my complex now a days too, it's a good choice. read more

If you can pony up the dough, this place is a life-saver. I fill up a big bag once a month just to keep caught up on my laundry. Their site is easy to use and doesn't force you to download yet another app. They are always prompt with their drop-off and pick up times, and my clothes are always perfectly folded and hung. I've worked out at a private gym across from The Folde's office since before they started. I'd previously had poor experiences with laundry service and had a nice high-end washer/dryer setup in my condo, so never considered using the service. Ended up buying a new house, renting condo, and new house had an old Maytag setup that had a proclivity for shrinking things. Then the boil/conserve water thing happened. Had soo much laundry that needed to be done and zero time. Setup an account, stuffed an XL bag full, it got picked up, washed, and dropped off within 24 hours. Boom. All my laundry done, button downs ironed to perfection, tees nicely folded, zero time spent doing laundry. Soo easy. Cannot believe I did not try this sooner. This is the second review I've ever written on Yelp! in the 5+ years I've been using it so this is kind of a big deal. I LOVE my clothes. Seriously. I'm super particular about what I buy and I don't mind spending more to get quality items. I also used to never let anyone else do my laundry out of fear that something would be shrunk or ruined. So please believe me when I tell you that The Folde is prompt, convenient, and good at what they do. I am not a first time user. I've had this service since January when I was working 70+ hours a week and had just moved to an apartment complex with a less-than-stellar laundry situation. Out of pure exhaustion I took a chance on these guys after the holidays and I'm glad I did. They take care of my clothes like I would. They hang my button-ups so they won't wrinkle. They hang-dry my jeans when I request it (drying ruins denim over time). If there's a stain they can't get out, they pin a note to that particular piece of clothing letting you know they tried (anyone else ever gotten concealer on a white tank? Yikes!) Their text notifications keep you posted if you start to get separation anxiety. The regular bag is big enough that I can have this service done once a month before I run out of clean clothes to wear. It was hard at first to justify spending 25+ a month on laundry but after many good experiences, it's now in the budget. read more

Couldn't be happier with the service. Pickups and drop offs are always on time and I really appreciate them hanging up dress shirts. Pretty happy with the recent updates to the website. It wasn't all that user friendly before but now it is pretty convenient to use. My only complaint is the plan options. I used to have a monthly subscription on a biweekly pickup schedule and that was no longer an option after the update. Not a huge deal to me since you are able to just schedule by request and the pricing works out the same for it anyways. read more

I really can't stress enough how amazing this service is. As an entrepreneur who recently made some big lifestyle changes in an attempt to create more time in my life to create/paint/read/reconnect with friends/etc. This service is a big part of that. We are living in a rental on the east side while we are renovating our home and our rental does not have a W/D. I was stressing out because I was imagining spending a whole day every week at some gross, hot laundromat. I found the Folde and I could not be happier with the service. First of all, the guys who pick up and drop off could not be nicer, even when my dogs are barking at them like they want to rip them to shreds. They pick up and drop off easy peasy. And some of my and my boyfriend's shirts come back PRESSED and IRONED which is not something that otherwise ever happens at our house. Even when we get back in our real house, I will still use this service during those busy times when you need some extra help like the holidays when you have a ton of extra bed and bath linens due to guests or you need your table linens pressed and ironed. These guys are magical. The pick-up and delivery service is fantastic, but I was amazed by how nicely the close we're folded when we got them back, and just how many things they put on hangers. No more wrinkly shirts that sit in the back of my closet until I'm completely out of other clothes--my wardrobe (of clothes I want to wear) just grew by 25%. I've occasionally used wash-and-fold services in other cities, and this is definitely the highest quality and the most reasonably priced. We've decided to keep doing our towels and sheets ourselves, (I know, I know, we have an in-unit washer and dryer... so this is a little embarrassing), but I think we're going to have everything else done for about $100-$115 per month--and we go through a lot of clothes.
