Small menu with Big Flavors. Great Coffee and Summertime Lemonade's. Their Avocado Toast is INSANE. We'll be back....

The Folsom Café is a great spot. I always get the avocado toast it's delicious and a good portion, definitely worth it. Next time I'll have to branch out and try something else because all the food that comes out of the kitchen looks really good. They also have a solid coffee selection depending on what you like. The espresso is smooth, and my go to, the Americano, is always on point. This has become one of my new stopping points when I'm out cycling. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the customer service is always nice and pleasant. It's just one of those places that makes you want to slow down, enjoy your food, and take a break. Hope you enjoy!

Good location at the downtown Folsom a very historic place. Coffee was good, they did not have a variety of breakfast but I assume it is more for coffee and pastries. Service was ok.

The two girls working were very nice. I ordered a gluten free sandwich (didn't know they offered gluten free bread!) and they were out of stock. They were super sweet and tried accommodating my allergy and trying to find substitutes for me to order. Lovely service and excited to come back and try the sandwich!

My first time in The Folsom Cafe and it's aesthetically stunning with local art and a home feel. The service was really sweet and they have a variety of teas which I love. I went with the grasshopper matcha iced and WOW SO DELICIOUS on a hot day.

Had lunch here today and the remake of this shop is working well. The iced green was pleasant. Bacon grilled cheese was a bit more expensive than expected, but hit the spot. Note, you can get grilled cheese with tomato soup which my friend enjoyed. The best part of lunch was a delightfully good tomato bruschetta. Balance of flavors were just right. The beefy tomato cuts were perfect. Liking the subtly mint green new paint inside. Good amount of indoor seating. A few nice sized tables under shade outside for when the weather is warmer will be most welcome. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable with the new menu. Drop by and check out this new place.

The Vine is in Old Folsom across from restaurants and bars, making it an ideal spot to possibly start a girls night or date night at if you wanted to walk around after. It's a cute cozy wine spot with a nice selection to choose from. When we got here it was initially empty but soon people started to trickle in. The worker was really nice, we were able to sample different wines, and he was helpful in answering questions we had. The inside is clean, there's bar seating, tables, a small couch area, and seats in the window if you wanna people watch. The wine we tried was really good, I really liked their more tart white wines and the sparkling blue champagne. The inside was also nice and air conditioned which helped with the hot weather outside. The day we went they weren't serving any food outside of salads but the food portion of their menu looked pretty good. This place was super cute and I'd definitely come again!

We decided to get a wine flight: I got the Rosé flight, and my friends got the Chardonnay and Pinot Noir flight. For tapas, we decided to split the Tuscany Hummus Bruschetta, Hot Honey Cheese Balls, and the Caramelized Onion, Goat Cheese Flatbread. There were a decent amount of vegetarian options to choose from. Wines were delicious and very smooth. The presentation of the food was great and it tasted flavorful and fresh. Since it is tapas style, the portion size is small. The bill with tip came out to be $120 which we felt was a bit steep for the three of us considering the small portion sizes and the fact that we left the restaurant still feeling a little hungry. This would be a great date spot and I would consider coming back for happy hour.

Thus cheered, we were seated quickly, even though we arrived without a reservation. Water, bread and menus came quickly. Perusing them to the background mix of contemporary mellow pop (think James Taylor and Van Morrison) and old standards, we decided on the petite prime rib for the carnivore (me) and sea scallops served over risotto for my wife. We each chose flights of wine to accompany our entrees. Despite including three wines per flight, the pours were fairly generous. Our dishes were perfectly prepared and came out more quickly than we expected, considering that the place was almost full. Our server checked back just enough and took care of any special requests promptly, even offering to exchange one of the wines (out of six!) that we didn't like for something better suited to our taste. The pace was leisurely which was fine given the good food and wine accompanied by the relaxed vibe of the live music. And the prices were quite reasonable given the quality of both the food and service. A dark-ish old school atmosphere added to its charm for us Baby Boomers, but even younger diners seemed to be enjoying themselves. As for us, we highly recommend it!

The space has a modern, stylish vibe, and we were welcomed right away by the large wine bar at the entrance. The staff was friendly and seated us quickly. I'd recommend making a reservation if you're coming with a larger group. They offer three different wine flights, along with a wide selection of wines by the glass. The food menu leans toward small bites--charcuterie boards, cheese platters, and finger foods. I ordered a Caesar salad, but it had an overwhelming amount of shaved cheese and the dressing was a bit bland. I'd love to see more meat-based food options on the menu. Most of the wines we tried were quite good. Eve, the sommelier, was incredibly sweet and accommodating--she let us sample several wines to make sure we found something we liked. We ended up ordering a few bottles. I really enjoyed the rosé, while my friends were big fans of the "Sexual Chocolate," which you'll just have to try for yourself--it's smoky and definitely unique. There was also live music, and the performer was lovely and added to the great atmosphere. Overall, our group had a wonderful time here--great wines, good conversation, and a relaxed vibe. We'll definitely be back!
