How have I've never tried this place. I pass it all the time and this was my first time here. The place is super small, with about 6 tables only. It gets pretty busy so go off hours. We went and had breakfast there and to my surprise it was super tasty. I didn't expect anything because it's just breakfast right!? But I was wrong. Their steak and eggs breakfast was really good. Steak was nice and juicy. The flavor was also really good. I didn't need to add anything to it. I also really like their hash browns and I'm not a big fan of hash brown. My husband had their breakfast burrito and he really liked it too and we got eggs, sausages and bacon special for my toddler. The people who owns this place is super nice. Welcome us with a smile and they were playing with my toddler. Made it feel like family. We will definitely be back. read more

We spent about $40 and unfortunately left disappointed. We ordered the huevos rancheros, biscuits and gravy, a burger, and the wings and fries plate. The huevos rancheros tasted like canned refried beans with canned salsa. The biscuits and gravy were even more disappointing. There was virtually no flavor, and it tasted like the gravy came from a packet. The burger was just okay; the patty looked like a basic store-bought patty and nothing stood out about it. The wings and fries plate was probably the biggest letdown. The wings were tiny, about the size of my pinky, and lacked flavor. The "buffalo" sauce didn't taste like buffalo sauce at all. It tasted more like Sriracha mixed with something sweet. Even with the sauce, the dish was disappointing. The prices are affordable, but in this case, you get what you pay for. The food tasted cheap and lacked the quality we were hoping for. Unfortunately, this was my first visit and will also be my last. read more

Great affordable breakfast. Dine in area is small, they do have an outdoor patio. The door at this place didn't stop swinging. From folks ordering breakfast to picking up burgers and phillys for lunch. The service is fast and friendly. Definitely a mom and pops shop. A hidden gem for sure. The first time I came here it was about two years ago and I had a burger that I remember was great. I'm not sure why I haven't came back. Anyways I was in the area and was hungry and then I thought to myself oh wait the food junction is nearby. I came in around 9 o'clock, and there was just one other person in there. This was good due to the parking situation here they are limited in the amount of parking spaces they have. Anyways, I walked in and was greeted by the woman at the front counter, I took a quick glance at the menu and the breakfast special combo caught my eye, but I wasn't craving pancakes so I ended up getting the number two which is two eggs, sausage, hashbrowns, and toast. I also got a coffee on the side. The prices did go up a bit since the last time I've came, but not anything horrible.This place still has amazing prices compared to other diners. They have six tables inside and also some tables outside as well. Apart from their normal breakfast, they also have a variety of cold sandwiches and hot sandwiches. They also have burgers and beer! The food was great warm and everything tasted fresh. I think I'll be coming by more often. read more

This spot is so fabulous I hesitate to attempt to describe it. This was my third time here with my girlfriend. The people working there are always the same. I don't know where they're from, but they are to the point and kind. We were seated quickly, served by the same woman serving everyone else in the spot, and fed fast also. This was my first time straying from the delicious breakfast combo, which is comprised of two sausage links, two strips of bacon, two eggs, two pancakes, and hashbrowns, all for 11.99. Every single item on the two plates (one for the pancakes) is tasty, fresh, and classic. The coffee is a delicious dark roast, and the ice water is served with lemon slices inside. Everything comes hot. My omelet was phenomenal. A nice layer of egg and shredded cheese over griddled vegetable, sausage and bacon. The mildly caramelized onion, tomato and pepper all get to share some of that bacon and sausage fat under their blanket, and lend themselves wonderfully to the starchy, well seasoned, hashbrown accompaniment. There's even outdoor seating shaded by jasmine plants. The seating is a bit crowded (which I personally love), which has meant that each time I come I get to chat with somebody new. Been here a handful of times now and we keep coming back to this junction. When the service is nice and polite, the food is consistent and the prices are unbeatable. They win with the triple hit. The parking lot holds about 8 spots or so, but there is some Parking down the side street at least on one side(i used it). They have inside and outside tables depending on your preference. They have a good lineup of food from breakfast to lunch items. The burger is good, and i added an egg and made it a breakfast burger. The breakfast special comes with 2 ea - bacon, sausage, eggs and pancakes with a side of hash browns for 9.99 (current as of june 2023). I was in town overnight for work. Even though I live nearby, I don't spend a lot of time eating out in Sac. After a couple of frustrating misses trying to find some place that didn't have a "food scene" line out the door on a Friday morning, I headed over here. This is EXACTLY the kind of old Sacramento restaurant my coworkers talk about (not to be confused with Old Sacramento.) When Sac was a sleepy farm town with a rail station and some government buildings, this is the kind of working class diner you could find without too much hassle. As the reviews state, the food is affordable and the staff is very kind. While the building looks small from the outside, there is ample seating inside and an indoor patio. I had the breakfast sandwich and it was to die for. I would get it with extra cheese next time because I am an American cheesaholic. This is exactly the kind of hot, crusty bread and meaty egg sandwich that I was craving, what I would describe as "hangover food." I've lived In the neighborhood for over 15 years and never made it to this place. I found myself close by with the need for a quick bite and stopped in this little gem. Good service, decent food, and a fair price. What else could you want these days? I got the corn beef hash and eggs while W got the juevis ranchers. The crust on the corn beef hash was crispy and perfect. The eggs were cooked exactly like I ordered and the hash browns were crispy and tasty. W's juevos rancheros came with a side of avocados and onions, a nice touch. All in all a great little place to grab a quick bite. We will be back to try some of the other menu options. read more

I've driven past this place for over 25 years, and have never stopped. Today, I was doing businesses with one of the car dealerships in the area, and so I finally decided to stop in. I call this place a "blue collar greasy spoon", and I say that as a compliment. Their clientele is primarily the people who work in the many used car dealerships, auto shops, etc... in the area. I walked in right at noon, and the place had only one other customer. Within 15 minutes, there was a long line of people waiting to order food. Every table in the small dining area was about to fill up. The menu is simple... It says right on the sign in front of the restaurant. Breakfast, Lunch, and beer. :) I ordered the patty melt with fries, and a large soda. The sandwich was excellent. I liked the onions, the burger was a decent size, and not over or undercooked. I normally don't care for white american cheese, but with this sandwich, it worked. Neither the sandwich nor the fries were greasy at all. A very good simple meal. For a good meal and a soda, I only paid about $9 out the door, plus a small tip. You can really get great meals at the little places just sitting alongside the road. Thanks!! read more

Simple BLT and fries. That's what made this so good that it was just a simple bacon lettuce and tomatoes sandwich. No special sauce or twist to it, every bite had all 3 ingredients.
