She provided excellent customer service, took our order, cooked all of the food herself, and still made time to check on us throughout our meal to make sure we had everything we needed. If this is common, you need patience because the wait is a little longer. The drink station is self-serve, which made it easy to refill our beverages. The restaurant has a quiet, relaxed atmosphere with only a couple of other customers dining, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal and have a conversation. The food was good, fresh, and generously portioned. I ordered the BLT on sourdough with no tomato and pickles instead, and the bacon was cooked perfectly with the crispy crunch I love. We also ordered the chicken teriyaki plate and the beef teriyaki plate, and both were packed with flavor and loaded with fresh vegetables. Kinda shocked at many of the reviews Firstly we've been eating at this teeny hole in the wall for over a decade I will admit the tables and ambience isn't remotely appealing, but we don't go there for the chairs tables and decor. If you don't mind profanity, heavy metal music, and staff that's a little rough around the edges, the burgers are decent. There was one cook and one assistant which looked like they were backed up. Customers who been there before us were going on 30 mins of waiting for their food, so I knew it was going to be awhile. We sat and lounged waiting and I witnessed some of the Customers getting irritated as the wait grew longer. After 35 mins of waiting we finally got our food and I wasn't upset as I understand i only see the 2 of them working as hard as they can. But when we got home one of our items were missing. We called them and they apologized, had us drive bk to get our missing item and didn't compensate anything else for the inconvenience. That to me was a few stars taken off. I stopped here on an impulse. It was a week day and it was noonish, and I was looking for a solid lunch option. I saw that their Thursday BLT lunch special included a fountain beverage and fresh-cut fries. I don't usually order BLTs, but I wanted to take advantage of of the special pricing and decided to try it Wow...this was one of the better BLT sandwiches I've had. Better than at sit-down cages. The bacon used was thick-cut and cooked perfectly. The other ingredients were fresh and tasted good! The fries were thick, steak-cut, and wonderful! I've been back again for the BLT. The service was horrible. The guy working clearly had no business being in a customer service position. He had no patience with my sister as she looked at the menu and asked questions. She misread something and he had to correct her, but he did it in a very rude way. It sounded like he said 'rice' but he actually said 'fries.' And when he correct her he said it in such a sarcastic way that it caused me...the person who never says anything...to ask him if he was okay, and let him know he seemed bothered and impatient. This place used to be a reliable source of good, reliable, fried seafood and burgers. I don't know about the burgers, now, but the latest management can't fry food to save its life. I ordered fish, fries, calamari, and onion rings. The good news is that the calamari were perfect, The calamari batter was cooked through, with a good, soft, bite, and the flesh was delicious and not overcooked. The fries were good, though they had a dry finish without the flavorful fried potato flavor I look for. But the fish had a bizarre, thin, batter with hard, crunchy parts sticking out, yet the batter was raw next to the fish. It was edible, if you peeled off the batter.But the onion rings are the worst I've had in 60 years. They had weird, thin batter, with super hard. tooth-breaking points sticking out. It didn't even properly coat the onions, which may be why they were badly overcooked, and completely inedible. A waste of $6. read more

We came here because we were in the mood for fish and chips. We planned on eating there because fish and chips rarely keep after a car ride. I've only ever had to return food one other time in my life (diff restaurant and was too spicy) so I explained how hard the fish was and was asked if I wanted it remade to which I said yes please. As we waited for my new order, the music got stranger and stranger and honestly I wouldn't even call it music. Like it just felt like we were on another planet (and not in a good way). Also during this time I used the bathroom and it was so filthy which was concerning and made me think about how the rest of the restaurant was cleaned. Eventually my new order was ready and he even remade the fries which was not needed but very nice. I am upset I had to give this place 1 star. my partner and I entered the restaurant 20 minutes before closing. As we walk to the register to place our order the cook came to the register. What does gloves on and let us know. We only have five minutes to order. I told Cookie that it was 20 minutes till closing time as stated on the Internet and he stated he closes up in five minutes. We waited 15 minutes for our food and when we received it, it was poor quality. Our fries have been refried and leaked oil. Our fish was fried hard as it was refried. My partner had chicken and each piece was a different color. I also ordered hush puppies and they were raw in the inside. Not only would I consider contacting the health department for the food safety of other customers. I have also reached out to the company in hopes of speaking to a manager, and I spoke to the same cook that gave us such poor service and poor quality food. I came here for lunch with my cousin. I ordered the superb burger to see what this place is all about. It was $12.99 and came with a double patty, pastrami, egg, pickles, onion, tomato, lettuce, and thousand island. The pastrami provides a unique texture to the burger. I can do without the egg. It's a good burger, but I'm not sure about a superb burger. The cashier was friendly and welcoming. There were flies in the dining room, but luckily I took my food to go. Overall the place is clean. However the service of TAE HEE could have been a whole lot better. I understand he was working by himself so that could have been why he was frustrated. I wasn't pleased with his remarks and how he handled food. He doesn't wear a hairnet or a face covering (considering he has a face and head full of hair) or even wear gloves( finger nails looked dirty) . There use to be more people working behind the counter. Sadly, when I arrived to pick up my order there was only one person, an older Korean lady, taking orders and preparing food as well. When I asked about my order she said she didn't receive it and when I showed her my receipt she didn't care and went back to preparing food. Unsurprisingly, she didn't even prepare the correct items for the family that was already waiting for their order. I mean how do you confuse 'hot dog' with 'hamburger' when you took the order and it's written on the prep tag? On top of that, she didn't know how to change an order. The people in front of me wanted to remove a burger and add chicken strips, but she didn't know how to do that so the family ended up paying for both even though they only wanted one of those items. I believe this shop is trying to save money in these difficult times and given the new $20 minimum wage it's hard for me not think the salary hike had something to do with why this lady was the only person manning the register and making the food at 5pm on a weekday. Unfortunately for them, I will not be coming back here again since this service was unacceptable. In the past year I've ordered from this restaurant close to 20 times.
