Been here before with my husband. The people are nice. This time I came in the morning wanting a French toast. I did get it and French toast was not that impressive. With the toast has eggs and two little sausage with the prize of over $20. The place still looks the same and since it was the morning it was not busy. Do I recommend it? First of all let me say those stuff hashbrowns are amazing!! I would probably share with someone since it is a larger dish and it doesn't reheat well. The pancakes were kinda bland despite being super fluffy. The batter just needed a dash of vanilla or almond extract and it would have been a knock out of the park. First time here based on other good Yelp reviews. Saturday breakfast, 9 am- ish. Not too busy. We ordered Hangover II, and the Collage Special The PROS: Really big portions. Coffee was good. Pet friendly patio. Hollandaise sauce is nice, eggs were cooked perfectly. Pancakes had a nice vanilla flavor. To-go boxes were a must. The CONS: Most notably, the food was warm, but not hot. Not cold, but it was a bit odd, seeing how they were not that busy. The restaurant itself is comfortable, but could benefit from some touch- up and a little scrubbing, but it was by no means run-down. Same with the rest rooms. Clean, but a few items were missing. BOTTOM LINE: Pleasant and attentive staff. A fine local restaurant. If you are in the area, your tummy will not be disappointed. We love our weekend meal outings and try to look for another go to we can frequent. Sad to say though the service from our waitress was spectacular, they really do need the extra hands to provide timely service. Seems like your basic neighborhood breakfast spot. We came on a Sunday morning and they were short staffed. They had, adorably, set out a tray of cookies as a 'sorry'/'thank you'. Thankfully I stumbled across this restaurant one day because it was across the street from me. It was such a great experience that I just keep going back now even though I've moved. First, when you walk in you're greeted with fresh baked cookies on the counter (for free!) and there usually isn't ever a wait. The seating is comfortable and servers have all been incredibly nice. Everything I've ordered is a hit and they all come in great portion sizes so if you aren't a big eater you can share a plate or take home some leftovers! Parking is good, service was good and prompt to come take our orders. Food portions was VERY hearty and def more than enough to take home. The food was good, just wish it had some more seasoning, however it was still good and i just settled with adding salt and pepper. Nice local place. Over the last six years, I have visited here maybe five times. I did not live in the area until this year; but my daughter did. We met different times of the day and even reserved the patio for my daughter's baby shower one fine day five years ago. Each time has been a positive experience. The food is tasty and served pleasantly. Yesterday, I tried out their To Go (the only option during our covid shutdown phase). All went well for each online ordering and pick up. Ordered a veggie omelette with no onions or peppers, hash browns, and an English muffin. Pick up was smooth; just go in, give name, get order, and go. I was driving somewhere and did not get to eat for about 20 minutes. Surprisingly, my food was well packaged as it was still warm. Except for a desire for maybe half the spinach, I really enjoyed the omelette. Hash browns can be a risk with some places for being too dry but it here. They were browned, it not burned or cook so thin that they could lose their moisture. When we are able to sit out on the patio or inside the restaurant again, one will find it a relaxing place with friendly staff. A homey vibe what is inviting. The service was still quick and efficient. They offer basic American breakfasts as well as some custom menu items like stuffed hash browns with bacon, sausage and cheese. The basic breakfast was good! Sausage was cooked well, eggs cooked soft scrambled as asked and the has browns were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Only downside was the biscuits and gravy were pretty plain- we added bacon on top to add more flavor. And everything was served on paper and plastic as if we were eating in a cafeteria. I've been here a few times over the past decade or so but this time around I ordered the Breakfast Club which was with a side of hash browns. The food was very good but the prices have definitely skyrocketed the past few years. 20$ for a sandwich and sides stop the 5 stars. They also changed the format so you order at the front and pay instead of restaurant style where you pay at the end which I didn't mind. I believe it was $18.50 for the omelette they came with a side of potatoes or hash browns and toast or pancakes. The food was so bland. How do you mess up pancakes? They were so dense they were hard to cut. They didn't taste like anything. The omelette had no flavor or even salt. Even after adding some condiments it just didn't taste good. In addition, it took so long to get our food. I noticed a few other patrons left their plates nearly full. The image attached was my dads plate.
