Amazing. Thankfully we were able to book 10am massages for 2 people the day before. There are plenty of other options such as facials, nails, pedi, different kinds of massages. We weren't able to enjoy other amenities though since they were all booked for a Saturday. The staff were friendly and guided us every step of the way. The whole place is a confusing maze; we'd have been lost without them. We were led to the lockers first. Shoes, robes, and towels, and a locker were given. The lounge has a free snack bar. We were led to the massage rooms and it was heavenly for 50 min. We're led back to the lounge until we were ready to head back. The bathrooms have showers and vanities full of amenities. 2 people for 2 massages estimated a little under $400 - pricey but a nice experience overall. Would recommend and come back.

Had a very nice experience here today with both the staff and clients. My Sis treated me to the 90 minute spa pedicure. This starts with choice of fabulous nail colors. You can upgrade to the fast drying enamels if you want for a fee. Followed bya relaxing soak, scrub , callus removal, 25 minutes of reflexology, and with a delightful Paraffin treatment finished under warm towels. I feel like I have the best painted toe nails ever! My pedicure was done by lovely Kelly. I will definitely return here again it was clean, sanitized and peaceful. The pedicures are done in a separate room from the nail salon. You are given a bottle of water and a couple of mints. A very comfortable massage chair and Zenful music. I totally recommend them!

I really like to come here and get facials and massages very clean and relaxing. Staff is very nice but a little expensive but sometimes us girls are worth it.

Just your typical local spa. Easy access since it's inside of a mall. Park in the lower garage, there's a lot of parking spaces.

I was welcomed in immediately (no reservation on Monday afternoon) and brought to a room where I was given privacy to change and a bin for my belonging, then the massage began. Shi shi (I know I spelled it wrong) was amazing and very professional. She made sure I was covered & comfortable and seemed to know exactly what I needed! The entire place seemed clean including the bathrooms and the lady at the desk was very friendly as well. I couldn't believe a 1 hour Swedish massage was only $65!! (60 if you pay cash) But with all that being said, if you are looking for a "spa" experience then this isnt the place. The massage was one of the best I've had but the place is missing the more upscale amenities. (Hence the difference in price point) For comparison, most spas have a locker room, refreshments, sauna, steam etc. This place is just an amazing straight forward massage. I'd give 4.5 stars if that was an option. I'm deducting a half star because the massage oil they used was unscented and I'm big on aroma therapy. I definitely will be going back at least once a month for the 30 minute massages they offer!

I was really excited to visit King Spa in Palisades Park while I was in the tri-state area. I had…read morebeen to the King Spa in Niles, IL several times and absolutely loved it, so I was expecting a similar relaxing experience. Unfortunately, I left feeling completely disappointed and more stressed than relaxed. I went on a Monday morning hoping to avoid crowds and have a peaceful day. Things started off on the wrong foot almost immediately. While I was simply checking the size of the uniform, holding it up to see if there was a difference in the width, an employee came over and snatched the second pair out of my hand as if I was trying to take something I shouldn't have. It was not a great way to start when I had barely gotten in the door. Next, the layout was also really confusing. The spa is spread across multiple floors with different sections and stairways, but no one explained where anything was or how to navigate the space. I spent a lot of time in the morning trying to figure out where I was and it felt like I was nosing around someone else's house: uncomfortable. The biggest issue, though, was communication. A woman in the locker room offered my niece and me a deal for two massages for $140 ($70 each) and asked me to send the money through Zelle. I sent $170, including what I thought was a generous tip of over 20%. She arranged the appointment, but I didn't confirm what type of massage I wanted. I foolishly assumed they would ask before starting. We had lunch beforehand - the food was delicious and the portion was huge. Unfortunately, they don't offer to-go boxes, so I needed to reschedule our massages in order to finish my meal. Before even finishing my meal, I went to the massage counter to see if we reschedule our appointments. A younger patron helped translate at the massage desk, but she needed my time slot and took it for herself. She told me the woman would help me reschedule and then left. When I tried to figure out my new time, the interaction felt rushed and dismissive. I was given time without being asked if it worked for me, and when I asked about other options, I was told there were none. I would have cancelled but had already paid, so I took the L. When it was finally time for the massage, we were taken back without anyone asking what type of massage we wanted. I realized my mistake because it was a much more intense massage style and is not my preference. At that point though, after so many rushed and uncomfortable interactions, I honestly didn't feel comfortable advocating for myself to tell them I wanted reflexology. The final issue happened while I was changing before leaving. The same woman who arranged the massage came over and told me I hadn't paid enough tip. I was confused because... it was a tip. She told me I owed another $20 and (to add insult to injury) that I couldn't get my license back from the front desk until I paid. That brought the tip to over 35% on a service I didn't choose and didn't enjoy. I came to King Spa looking for rest and relaxation, but instead left feeling like I had spent my hard-earned money somewhere that never quite felt comfortable and certainly not welcomed.

~Best Day Spa in NJ~…read more No other spa in the Tri-State offers the services, amenities, hospitality, and atmosphere that BRC Day Spa does. Highly recommend if you enjoy or want to try a true Russian banya experience. This spa is absolutely beautiful, extremely clean, the vibes are friendly, very relaxed. I am in love with this place, and plan to come on a regular basis! It's really that awesome! The service and hospitality are wonderful. Upon arrival, you will check in at the front desk. If you have forgotten your swimsuit, robe, slippers for the pool. BRC spa has men's swim shorts to rent and female suits for purchase to whomever may need one. Which is an excellent service. Love that they have slippers for the entire spa experience. Really appreciate, towels and slippers are provided with the admission cost. Robes can be rented from the front desk for customer convenience, if you don't want to bring your own. I prefer to rent theirs, the robes are very nice. Admission grants access to the facility's aroma, wet, and dry saunas, steam room, ice cold plunge, lap pool, jacuzzi, relaxation room, and the mud/scrub room. WiFi is free and available throughout the entire spa. The spa features a lovely cafe that prepares healthy meals, fruit bowls, that has a bar wherein alcoholic beverages can be ordered. The spa has other amazing add on's that are extra which include cryotherapy, salt room, float pod, massage therapy, and a VIP room. Highly recommend cryotherapy if you have any inflammation in your body. Cryotherapy is a game changer. Excited to try the float pod, cryotherapy, infrared sauna,on my next visit. As well as the salt room eventually. My overall favorite feature of the spa was the ice cold plunge. It was truly an amazing experience, that gave me immediate benefits. Never thought I could ever do an ice cold plunge especially when the weather outside is already very frigid. Thanks to other members sharing their experience. I built up the courage to the plunge. It was an awesome, euphoric, pain relieving experience. I will be taking the ice cold plunge or ice baths on a daily or weekly basis for the amazing health benefits. My other favorites were the regulars that visit the spa frequently. They were absolutely the best, and I enjoyed each and every patron I encountered. This place is pure positive bliss. When I left this spa all of my body aches, muscle tension, chronic pain, and stress were gone. If you fly into Teterboro, visit Meadowlands, the NJ/NYC area, this is THE BEST SPA IN THE TRI STATE! Thank me later...

When you think of spa receptionist you think face of the spa, bubbly, and well kept/put together. Hate to say this but the face of your spa needs to be someone inviting! It's a true Shame because Terri is great, but this could be a major turn off for potential clients! I know the phone call interactions and the in person interactions with the receptionist tainted my overall experience. As long as I've seen this spa, I have been holding onto a couple of gift cards for Spa Week and Spa Finder. Every place I frequent isn't a business that honors them, but when surfing the list of businesses that do, I saw Serenity on the list. Before booking an appointment I called the business to confirm the cards were accepted - yay, they take them (both)! Or so she said. I booked a manicure appointment for mom and I. Day of arrival we parked on the street (at a meter), not knowing the business has a parking lot behind the building for customers (manicurist shared with us during appt). That might have been worth mentioning Ms. Receptionist. The space looks small from the outside but inside is very spacious but dated; the Manicure Room is cute, but could use some updates as well. The nail color selection is limited and flat (none of the new stuff). The manicurist were great - took their time and polished well. Upon check out I presented both cards, one for my mom to use and one for myself. The reception said they didn't take Spa Week, I told her when I called the receptionist said they did. Whatevs, but I know what I was told. On my second visit (2 weeks later), I booked a mani and pedi, but the manicurist I booked with was no longer employed there, so I was very surprised because I wasn't notified. The new girl was good too, so I was satisfied, but normally a call with the option to keep or cancel appointment is my practice. The business sends frequent email blasts that let you know about specials and pricing, which the prices have spiked, as of April. A regular manicure will now cost $30, color gel mani $55, basic pedi $55. These new prices will determine the frequency of my visits.

To whom it may concern, I've been receiving regular massages for the last 10+ years. I wasn't feeling my best so I booked a 90 min deep tissue massage. No issues at time of check in or at least so I thought until the "service" had ended. The "therapist" brought me to the room and when I would normally expect intake to happen there was no where for me to sit or put my things down. There was a large plastic container on the chair for the client and instead of the "therapist" removing it for me she went and made herself comfortable in her chair leaning on the counter. I explained I slept funny and my upper back and neck needed attention as did my lower back. I explained that I preferred a deep tissue. She then asked me to confirm three times that I wanted full body deep tissue. Asking if I wasn't sure that I wanted a firm Swedish instead. I should've know better at this point she was not comfortable with the request. When she started the massage she didn't bother wasting as time warming up my muscles she just went for it. Throwing her entire body weight into her forearm and elbow running down my spine. Shame on me for not telling her to stop. She ran into my spine multiple times so forcefully she said "Ouch". Stabbing my hip bones with her elbow it's impossible to believe she could tell the difference between a knot and a bone. If your "therapists" are unable to provide service they should not be assigned. This went on for 45mins and while I knew my time was cut short I was grateful the tournament was over. My 90 min "massage" was 30 mins short because she did not have the time for the appointment. At no point was the communicated to me that I would not be receiving the service I scheduled. At check out I explained my dissatisfaction and was still asked to pay $170 for 60 mins of pain. I refused and was still charged $120 for what I'm not sure. I'm in agonizing pain today and will have to seek medical attention to ensure she didn't injure myself. A spa is a place for self care and relaxation. This was anything but. Please consider the service you provide and if your employees are capable of delivering. From the front desk to the "therapists" there's dramatic room for improvement.
