Hi I've been going to foxy dog for years. It was taken over 2 year by Lucky paws. Every time I go in it's a different price. There's no postings of what they charge. Customer service is important. everyone trying to get by. I've been very taken aback by how I was treated when I questioned the increase in price. My dog is very small. It should not be over $80. To groom her and that's without the tip. I questioned it and I asked for the owner to call me and they didn't. I had to call them.!! I did speak to the manager but to no avail. Apparently inflation has gotten to the point where a normal $50 charge two years ago is now $83. Not sure I'll go back. I'm gonna start looking for a new groomer!! I used to take my dog here all the time... the new owners are disgusting!!!! I picked up my dog and she was covered in urine and they refused to clean her because they said they did prior to cutting her hair. They then told me they don't give dogs water when they're there for hours at a time!!! Terrible customer service and a poor quality haircut on top of it. Please don't take your dog here. read more

I have left many messages to discuss with the supervisor. They say someone will call me back but it has been 10 days . I hope her eyes recover. She is under the care of a vet. . I had my dog groomed and the next day my dogs eyes starting to drip puss. I cleaned it and hoped it would be ok. It wasn't . Turned out both of her eyes had cornea abrasions caused from the grooming. Left worst than the right. Alexis used to groom her but she is no longer at this location. read more

Foxy dog is under new management and they are great! I brought my shin tzu for bath haircut and grooming last week. He was done in just over an hour. They did a beautiful job and were so nice. Very reasonably priced as well. Yesterday I went back with my havanese and had the same experience. Best dog groomers in town! read more

We used Maria for years and she was great, kind and did a great job. Our dog loved going there. The new owners are rubbish and after two visits our dog upon learning he was going there, refused to go. The pricing is 30% more now; our dog's ears and nails are not done or not done properly; and the workers are not kind or considerate to our dog. Just plain terrible. Sad we have to find a new place after all these years but my dog is my adopted son and I will not see him abused like this. read more

I had a great experience with Alexis. My dog is not the easiest when it comes to washing, drying, brushing, and pretty much anything else grooming related. It took them a little while to get him dry enough to start, which was a little annoying, but knowing he's challenging, it was definitely understandable. When I picked him up he looked great and was totally taken care of. I was a little nervous about his hair as he had some slight matting in the back, but Alexis did a great job to take care of it and make it not noticeable. She also took me through options and gave me a run down when I picked him up. Overall, I highly recommend using Alexis for your grooming. read more

I called and made an appointment. I get there and the same lady I spoke to tells me I don't have one. Then proceeds to lie to my face about how I never made the appointment. The groomers are good and this review is not about them. It's about the way they manage their appointments. Do not take your dog here! It is under a new owner and it is called It is called lucky paws. $400 later at the emergency vet and my dog has ulcers in her eyes because they put shampoo in them. My poor dog is in agony. I am so sorry my poor dog went through this. read more

I have been going to this groomer for 10+ years , and I will NOT be taking my dogs here anymore. You would think a dog grooming service would know how to put a harness on a dog properly, but I guess not! I went to pick up my dogs and thought everything was hooked on properly. We left the groomer and one my dogs slipped right out from his harness because they did not properly buckle it on him! My dog ended up running into on coming traffic on Main Street! I ran into the street for minutes trying to catch him, which thank god I finally did! It was unbelievable. I was traumatizes to say the least. I would NOT recommend this place at all! read more

I used the original Foxy Dog for my Bijon and my cockapoo. Marie, the owner, was great. I was never disappointed with any of her cuts. I was sad to see her leave. We now have an 8 month old puppy, a mini goldendoodle, who needed a haircut. We had taken her to a great groomer but decided to try a groomer nearby and give the new 'Foxy Dog' a try. What a MISTAKE!! When I picked her up her ears were sheared!!!!! They said she had mats. I do brush her daily and I never saw any. She looked like a scared lamb. We will never go there again. Traveling the distance to the other groomer is worth it because I know my dog will be treated well and will come back happy. read more

Been going to place for years. I was dropping my dog off today and they left the door open to the grooming area. Out of curiosity, I looked in to see the horror on all the dogs faces inside. One of the groomers carelessly held the hair dryer in a poor dogs face. The dog looked like it couldn't breathe. One of them saw me staring and walked up to close the door in my face. I grabbed my dog and left. Will never be going back there again. read more

This has to be the worst place ever! DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! They do not ask for your pets vaccination records nor do they actually do what you ask/what they're supposed to do when grooming your pet! They don't brush their teeth they don't cut their nails and claim that they cannot cut them any shorter than they are and they do not squeeze your pets anal glands and they don't properly clean their ears my mom was taking our dog here for almost a year and when we took him to the vet for his check up he was not okay - he had an ear infection - horrible anal glands - teeth in the back were bad and his eyes also had an infection - if you care for your animal do not take them there - they could have your pet around sick dogs and they share and use all the same things on each of them I doubt they even clean their equipment read more

HORRIFIC. First I was insulted in front of everyone -- my dogs had been at the dog park and had sand on them -- Marie asked me if they often urinated on themselves(?). Also, some guy who worked there was forcing them into cages. Next, obviously, they do not do westies often there -- my dogs left looking like schnauzers. WORSE AND VERY DANGEROUS TO YOUR DOG: When I got there some woman -- I think she was a groomer (?) left a dog with the noose on its neck on the table alone and was walking around chatting -- the dog started to step off the table -- I had to yell at her 3 times -- what is wrong with you -- you do not leave a dog alone with a noose on a table -- he almost hung himself -- she just laughed. You value your dogs life, appearance and like to be treated professionally -- go somewhere else. read more

Wonderful with dogs. Keeps my long haired babies looking good. They each have different personalities and hair types, Foxy Dog does well with them all. She's been here a long time, always busy, always nice, prices are reasonable. Dogs aren't cut or shaved too close as with others in the area.! read more

We've been boarding our small dog here for years at the recommendation of a friend. They've always taken great care of her and it's so much more personal than a cage at the vet. Everyone we've dealt with there has always been very nice and accomodating. It's obvious they care about dogs. read more
