    Steak Skewer

Mom was in a mood for a good steak & we found it! First time coming to Miga's. Service was attentive and pleasant. Food was tasty and not a long wait. We had the parillada for 1, steak skewer, Entraña (churrasco/flank steak), Russian potato salad. Beers were served in VERY cold glass mugs - a nice touch and very much needed in these Miami summers! My only dislike were the tostones, overcooked and a bit hard, not to my liking. Flan and cheesecake were both delish!

While the flavor had potential, the cake was extremely dry, with a texture that suggested it was not fresh. This significantly took away from the enjoyment.

Found this place near our hotel and I must say it was very good. I got the rib eye, my friends got the New York, and another rib eye, we all loved it. The appetizers were also very good. All for a fairly reasonable price unlike the places i frequent at home (namely California) Steaks were cooked to order, i just wish there was a little more sear to the outside. Also came with chimchiri sauce which was tasty. We finished with several desserts, they tasted like mousse. My favorite was that passion fruit, the kid liked the chocolate. All in all good little spot and I'll definitely be back if im in the area.

Miga's is an amazing place! Yesterday I was there for the first time and I was highly impressed. The Serrano ham was so good that I was still savoring it in my mind during the day today. I can't wait to go back and have be more off it. I want to try their steak and empanadas too. The staff were as professional as you will find. The restaurant is very clean and well organized. They have tables both inside and outside. Miga's has many loyal customers that frequent the restaurant every week. Make sure to check out their desserts too.

A hidden gem in Miramar. This place holds a special place in my heart. I've grown up Miga's since I was in high school and they are my go-to spot for Argentinian empanadas! This is the first place that ever introduced me to chimichurri sauce & I've been addicted ever since! They have a a variety of empanadas from beef to chicken to mushroom. My favorite is the classic ground beef; don't forget to ask for chimichurri & hot sauce, you won't regret it! I used to pick up boxes of these and bring them back with me to UCF. Their empanadas used to be smaller but on a recent visit, I've noticed they are a bit bigger. I kind of miss their smaller size giving the texture and bite to it a bit more flavor, but they are still good nonetheless! Miga's also carries an assortment of meats, wines, and more! Oh, and don't forget about their desserts! This spot is like a mini market and restaurant all in one. I've eaten breakfast here before and from what I can remember, it was good. I'm glad I stopped by recently to remember all they had because I'll definitely be back for a meal sometime soon.

I love the empanadas and coffee late, especially their service at this cute and cozy coffee shop. It's located inside a shopping Center and the parking it's free.

We came here for breakfast and sat outside. They have multiple tables outside with covered umbrellas so you wouldn't be under the Sun. The service was very inconsistent. The person that greeted us behind the counter was very kind and directed us where to sit. The lady who took our drink order and brought us our coffee was very accommodating. The waitress was a bit inattentive. She came to take our orders and I placed my order with the kids. Just as I finished ordering and before my husband can order, she grabbed my menu and the ones on the table and left. She didn't even ask my husband what he wanted. When she brought my and my kids' food was when my husband was able to place his order. My fork was dirty straight out of their prepared packs. The price of the food I thought was a bit pricey, especially for breakfast. My croissant sandwich which was good but nothing special was $12, although it did come with a coffee. They could have at least put a side salad to make it look pretty. The kid's meals were also between $10 which is more expensive than most places for kid's meals. It could've at least come with a drink. My husband ordered a continental breakfast which was suppose to be a ham and cheese omelette. It looked more like a piece of ham and cheese with an egg cooked over it. It was not worth the $15 that we paid. He was quite disappointed and said he wouldn't go back. They do have a lot of options for lunch or dinner and desserts. I would like to give them another try but probably not again for breakfast.

Let me tell you...there is nothing better than stepping into a restaurant where one of the staff sees you and motions you to pick a table. It is crowded so you find a table. The chatter around you doesn't sound familiar because it isn't English. When the waitress appears, there is a sudden feeling of distress because she doesn't speak a lot of English and you certainly can't speak Spanish. No worries! The points and clicks began and I know the word vino, cerveza and nada. The food is delicious. One Yelper said the chimichuri sauce was the best they ever had. I concur! This restaurant is a cross between a deli, restaurant, and wine shop. The music is the undertone to the chatter. They play American 80s and Italian. Go figure. They certainly don't skimped on the wine pour. Max did not like his fish. I tried it and it was good. They were so concerned about his feelings of the fish that they took it off the bill. Talk about classy. I'll be back to pick up some treats from the dessert case. Gracious! See, I know a little more Spanish!

    Milhojas cake

I can only speak for the milhojas cake, which I ordered only 1 day in advance (procrastination am I right?) but best decision EVER! It was baked the morning of and just tasted so incredibly fresh. The crema pastelera was the perfectly sweet and the dough flaked with every bite. Price may seem a bit steep for the price but not when compared to getting multiple smaller pieces of milhojas and since it's being baked the same day, the quality and freshness can't be beat. Can't wait for another birthday so I can order this again!

I ordered four plain bagels with cream cheese and the total came to over $25 before any tip. Looking at the receipt afterward, each bagel with cream cheese worked out to about $6, which feels extremely excessive for such a basic item. The food itself was fine, but nothing about the experience justified that price point. At these prices, I'd expect something exceptional, and this was just a standard bagel with cream cheese. Another issue is the layout of the restaurant. The space is incredibly cramped. Between customers waiting in line, people picking up orders, and limited room to move around, it felt crowded and uncomfortable. If more than a handful of people are inside, navigating the space becomes difficult. Overall, the bagels were okay, but the combination of very high prices and a tight, congested dining area makes it hard for me to recommend. There are plenty of places in South Florida where you can get a comparable bagel experience for significantly less money.
