Everything was outstanding. The flounder and shrimp were fried to perfection--crispy on the outside, light and flaky on the inside, and not greasy at all. The sides were just as memorable. The collard greens were tender and full of flavor, and the mac & cheese was rich, creamy, and cheesy--exactly what you'd hope to find at a great church potluck. However they were out of lemon which made it a small bummer as that affected both the tea and the fish we ordered. So those were the mildly annoying issues we encountered, but the food itself, not to mention outstanding service, was the saving grace. My daughter and I both ordered the flounder catch of the week. We were given huge portions and actually had to box some of it up. I also had onion rings and they were super crispy and not greasy at all. I had some collards, too, and they seemed super fresh. Finally we got some hush puppies. You know hush puppies are awesome when bite into one and you involuntarily say "yum."
