I've been surviving on food stamps and have to be very careful with my cash. The first call, the woman who answered the phone did not know what the cost would be and asked me to call back in 5 minutes, which I did. I explained that I only wanted broth and noodles, no seafood, no meat, no veggies. I was told that it would be $2.75, which I thought was fair, and so I went there and bought exactly that for $2.75, and it was very good! So, yesterday, Monday 10/20/25, I was close to the buffet again and decided to get another broth and noodles for $2.75. I get the same thing again, it is the same cashier as last Friday. She puts the soup in a bag and ties it up, and then attempts to charge me $4.98!!! WTF? I said no, you charged me $2.75 for the same thing three days before. It is ONLY broth and noodles. She had a "take it or leave it" attitude about it, and I left the soup there and left the building, maybe to never return again after that experience. And it was there lost because they aren't going to separate the broth from the noodles and put it back in the pot, so it was wasted. What a shame! I got home and had an avocado for dinner last night.
