Great place for dudes. My boyfriend plays MKX here competitively and I like to go watch. They also have street fighter completions and other popular games for people to play. It's 5 dollars for casuals and they're open until midnight on Fridays! Staff is usually nice, but you're too into the games to really notice them. Downfall is sometimes the video playing room will get because it gets crowded on tournament days. read more

If you were to ask anyone who had been to the Gaming Zone they will all say that is a very chill place. The owners are very friendly and the place is very welcoming. They have old school arcade machines for those nostalgic gamers out there. Best gaming store I've ever been to! The prices for games are fair and they have a crazy selection of games, even some rare JRPG's that I've been looking for. The guys that work here are super friendly and they are open late so you can check it out pretty much anytime. I was suddenly put in charge of putting together a gaming event for the school my girlfriend's kids go to. Suddenly I need games, controllers and consoles. I was searching on Craigslist for games and such. I came across the Gaming Zone ad. I saw that they hold events and even have arcades for 50 cents...say what. Matt and Oscar gave me fantastic ideas on how to run such a gaming event for kids from preschoolers to like 6th grade. I definitely am going to go back to shop for this event. Came here a few months ago to purchase a PS2 for some nostalgic fun. The PS2 is still running strong! This place guarantees its systems for a month, and games for 14 days. Customer service is excellent and the prices are very low compared to online, and other retro gaming stores. They had a gigantic game selection for all systems. I would definitely come back if it wasn't such a long drive but it was worth it for the purchase I wanted to make. read more

Awesome retro shop! Great selection of games, great holiday dales and a knowledgeable staff. The store is kept very clean, and they've taken care of their arcade machines as well. I heard about TGZ through my own local community, as they've hosted quite a few gaming tournaments for us during the last year. Things are only looking better for 2014! Their gaming lounge is a great size, with 8 stations for gaming set ups, and a little spare room for more. Pricing is very reasonable, as usually they host just out of love for the gaming community. They're very willing to support a variety of games, as I've seen them host magic, fighting games of all colors, pokemon and more. If you're looking for a place to extend your gaming community, this is absolutely a place to do it, with a great central location. Even if you just came in for the lounge you'll find yourself wandering their eclectic gaming collection, with a huge variety of classic and modern games to choose from. While it was about an hour drive for me, I loved the store. It's like walking 30 years into the past to find all the games you grew up playing. I for one am starting to collect NES games again so I bought a console for a reasonable price and another game. I traded in an Xbox 360 and Xbox one and got a fair price for both. Much more reasonable than GameStop. Overall I will come here more often even if I have to drive far. If you love retro games or even newer ones this store is the place to get them. The customer service was fantastic, it's fun to talk about old games and both our experiences with them. I have never gone into a store that had this much focus on customer satisfaction. Again I will definitely be coming back! read more
