I went here nearly daily for years. Their day pass is a really good value, and the people that run the spot are insnanely nice. It's cool place to run into and meet people you probably never would be otherwise who likely play the same stuff as you. There's snacks for purchase inside, a subway in the other part of the building, a convenient store that has everything on the other side.. so really there is everything you could ever need. The lighting on the inside is cool, and the computers run everything, are in good condition. The only downside I ever ran into was that sometimes you need to hunt around for a working headset, but other than that . 10/10 read more

Genuinely just not a space for anything besides casual gameplay, the first thing I noticed immediately were these plastic bumpers between each desk. Understandably they're there to keep everyone within their designated ~42 inch square but realistically there's no way to aim here, you will absolutely smack your mouse into the bumper if your normal sens exceeds 15cm/180. That math might sound kinda funky but they have a full 100% keyboard with a numpad, so you lose all that space in practice unless you curl up in a wildly unnatural position and rest the keyboard on the plastic bumpers but nothing I did even remotely made this place comfortable. It's as if they've never had anyone play a shooter here, or everyone who ever has had an eDPi of 12000 or higher. They aren't really equipped for MMOs either, every mouse in sight was a Razer Deathadder Essential, no Nagas or Scimitars or even a knockoff 12 button, so unless you're clicking your buttons or reaching to the = key naturally on a full sized keyboard you're crippled. I picked up a 5 hour session off the rip because my buddies in town and I only have one PC in my place, I couldn't even survive 30 minutes here before just giving up and deciding to watch him play, but even a guy who never gets to play, who really wants to play, couldn't survive more than an hour and a half of his five hours. Side note, we pushed in our chair to make space to walk through the aisle and the light rattle of the desk sent a PC for a whole bootloop back to BIOS. If you aren't desperate it's something, but don't come here for Overwatch or Valorant or CSGO or really any shooter. read more

Also seemed like the fridge was kind of low in stock in terms of snacks/beverages, but it was my first time there so not sure how maintenance works for the joint. Also, I know it's AZ and AC isn't the cheapest thing, BUT when you have a decent amount of people giving off natural heat in an area plus the heat emitting from the PCs, having it run at 82+ F inside the building isn't the most comfortable when staying for long periods of time. Staff were very informative and inviting and patient. I think his name was Kas or something close. Super nice and catering gentleman. Told my friends and colleagues about Level Up Gaming and we will be visiting again! Just hope the AC situation will be a little bit better. PCs provided exactly what I needed for the games I enjoy (League of legends). While doing the casual/nosey 'look-around', it seems like other people play as well, so if your solo or looking to join a game, you'll probly have a good chance and meeting most of your 'League' needs. read more

Everything is always great except for when you play on controller and there is no staff in the building to give access to the room with them. Came cross their fliers in a boba shop, and decided to check this place out since I've never experienced gaming at a PC Bang (cafe) before. It's located in the same plaza as republic ramen. The logo isn't very clear during the night time but you can see the inside space clearly as it's lit up by the PCs and blue light decors. There's about 30 to 40 stations equipped with high spec PCs, so you won't have any issues with running any of the games there. Plus WiFi is fast! See picture below for a list of their games. They also sell snacks and drinks here to satisfy your gaming munch. The pricing is by hour. The overall amount is reduced if you purchase more upfront. For example if you ask for 1-2 hours, it's $5 an hour. But if you get 3-4 hours, it's $4.50 an hour. I recommend getting more as it gets recorded to your account. Next time you come in the time you didn't use will rollforward. Overall really good experience. Will definitely keep coming back. Also you get one free hour if you bring a friend before 8/31. read more

Being a PC gamer it's hard to want to go to lan centers anymore because there's always something lacking when it comes to their equipment or setup. NOT this place though, Level Up blows any lan center I've ever been to in the last 20 years out of the water. Top of the line computers and monitors, adequate desk space, good peripherals, gaming chairs, friendly staff and great pricing. Front desk guy, Asian with long hair in a pony tail and a mustache/goatee combo, was just rude and unpleasant. He didn't say hi when I came in. I stood there for 2 minutes while he just quietly played Call of Duty. Once he didn't he said "What's up?" in a cold tone. I said that I would like to get an hour to play and asked about the first time free hour thing so I could get a total of two hours. He said "Yeah. That expired over a year ago." Even though I saw a review on Google maps that said that you get an hour free for your first time just 2 months ago. Guy played video games instead of checking multiple different people in that came in. It was also 5 dollars for an hour instead of 3.50 like what other people said. I would much rather just go to Pure Esports in Gilbert. Better computers. Better peripherals. Friendlier staff. And MUCH better chairs. For just two bucks more. Edit: I can only assume that's the owner, his family member or some other thing for him to not be fired yet. The place has multiple different bad reviews because of him on Google maps. read more

Employees will annoy you by talking about politics. One of them didn't know what "book/booking" meant. Something was wrong with steam cloud sync so the progress I made in the game was lost and I didn't feel like risking it so I just asked for my money back. Only good thing I can say about the employees is that they understand the software at a basic level, however they are extremely fake people. The employee was talking bad about me over her personal phone while I had headphones on thinking I couldn't hear her. Checked this place out a couple times in the last week. Prices are great with discounts in bulk. The atmosphere is nice and the computers are on point. The chairs could be better, they aren't the most comfortable. Nice selection of drinks, but wish there was more diet options. Was unable to login to my Origin account on either day at different computers, so it seems that is an issue they need to address (I was able to login to my account on my phone, so I know the account is OK). Being a gaming lounge, you expect it to be noisy when more than a couple people are in playing games, however the one obnoxious dude in the front playing Overwatch on October 18th was shouting and being toxic AF over voice chat. My second visit on October 22nd was much better. Overall, I will be back assuming the Origin login issue is resolved. read more

The place is spectacular! I have a crappy computer and internet at home so I frequently go to PC gaming cafes in the valley and California, one a month. The set up and equipment is top of the line. It is beautiful inside. Every thing is kept in order and clean at the desk. They have chargers for iPhones, micro USB and USB C, that was really convenient. The chairs were decently comfortable. Definitely the cleanest place I've been to... At the desk. Here's the -1 star.. Now, the bathroom was a different story. The toilet seat was left up (no biggie, grew up with brothers) and there was dried and wet pee all over the bottom seat, literally covered in it. Totally gross. Having to put the toilet seat down, I almost threw up in my mouth. The bathroom should be checked on more frequently and kept clean. Additionally, the guy at the front desk was not customer service friendly. I didn't get greeted when I walked in nor did he ask how he could help. I mentioned it was my first time here and he just asked how many hours. He took my card to charge it without further instruction. I didn't know where to register (at front desk or computer - every where is different). I figured it out though. Not sure if it was a bad day for him or that's just how he is, nonetheless, there should be some customer service. Otherwise, just make it self-service, to be frank. If it wasn't for the fact that I was dropped off, I would have went up the street to another center. I watched people come in and assume they turn away because he wasn't very welcoming or helpful at all. Overall, the place is 4 star location. Having great equipment and good interior doesn't make up for lack of customer service and a disgusting bathroom. I have been to places not as good looking on the interior but with excellent customer service. A simple hello and willingness to help goes a long way. read more
