My air conditioner was working intermittently. They said check for leak and added Freon charged over $400. The air conditioner was still working intermittently and went back to repair second day. They said replaced the sensor added Freon and charged me over $500. They said the compressor was working ok . The same day went back as the air conditioner was still working intermittently. Now they said the compressor is not working properly. I will need a new compressor. They replaced parts but could not figure out the problem. I asked if they would give me a discount as they did not fix the first time but said no. They just lost a future customer. read more

I'm being generous with 3 stars, but there are some good points here- easy to get to location and comfortable waiting room to name a couple. I went in for a scheduled oil change and tire rotation, at which time the mechanic pointed out two rear tires in need of replacement. I ws told they could be ordered and installed that day, but the delivery truck was late. The next day came, and when I showed up to pick my car up, the guy behind the desk told me he ordered the wrong size, and they were going to drive up to Ft Myers and get the right tire and still have them installed before close, but the call never came. So here is day 3, and I finally got my car back but it turned out the guy had transposed the numbers for my phone and kept calling the wrong number with updates. Here's the thing- I could have let it all go, which I did, but they were so unapologetic- not one sorry for the inconvenience, nothing. Keep in my I'm on vacation and lost almost three days. I Brought in my BMW to have a tire replaced, after getting back home and taking a closer look i noticed 4 large scratches on the wheel that were definitely not there before, they also did not return the valve cap. The biggest issue they mounted the tire reversed, inside side is facing out it is clearly printed on the tire. Either the tech has no clue or maybe he did it on purpose. If i could give them a 0 star rating i would. These people have had my grandmother's car for months, claiming it would be fixed soon countless times. After spending thousands of dollars in repairs, the car was taken home after they said it was tested and safe to drive. After taking it home it was clearly not safe and it was taken back to the shop, under a warranty given by their company. Now they are requesting over a thousand more dollars of my poor grandmas money when they claimed they were going to fix the mistake they obviously caused. My grandma was in disbelief when they asked for a thousand MORE dollars and said she didn't have that to give him. His response? I brought my car into the Golden Gate location for a simple tire rotation and wheel balance. I had an 8:30 appointment. I dropped it off and picked it up at 11:00. As soon as I left I heard noise coming from the wheels. Brought it back right away and a tech said I needed brakes including rotors. I knew this was not true because they were done less than 3k miles ago. I spoke with the manager and he went and looked; he said the issue was that they put the wrong size weights on and they were hitting my calipers. He said it would be fixed quickly, but couldn't explain why the tech said I needed brakes. As soon as I took the car back out again, I still heard the noise. Went back a third time and they said the tech put the wrong weights on all of the wheels. Back into the shop; I didn't leave the shop until 2:30pm. Total waste of my time. The only explanation was that the tech is new. Would not count on them for any serious issues. read more

As a small business owner I always try to right a wrong with the business before writing a negative review. I just had my first and last oil change with this establishment. My husband is a mechanic and usually services our vehicles but due to health issues is not able to. The service includes tire rotation so I marked the tires to be sure they were rotated. They were not. When questioned I was told that if the wear is the same it's not necessary. Total B.S. My owner's manual also went missing from my glove box. I had read another review saying this happened to her so i was sure to look when i dropped it off. I should've taken a picture. When questioned I was assured the technician never went in my glove box. I called total B.S. because it was there when i dropped it off! Then I was told to buy a new one, bring in the invoice and they'll reimburse me. . I was hoping this would be a reputable place, no such luck. I had received a coupon in the mail for an oil change with filter, tire rotation, and any and all fluids to be checked and topped off. I had a friend who told me how he never trusts the services of garages to not try to up charge on this service. He continued to tell me how so many times the garages will do the least that they can to get away with spending more time than they have to. I wanted to prove him wrong; and put nail polish on a letter center in my tire. I came home and we went to inspect the job..I was shocked and so saddened that my tires were not rotated and the fluids (especially my window washer fluid) were as low as they could be. I called and the owner was very cordial (actually called me back from a weekend away after he heard my message after hours). We planned on my bringing the car back 4 days later (my next day off) to rotate my tires and add the appropriate fluids. Yes..the tires did get rotated; the fluids DID NOT get filled AND WHAT REALLY MADE ME WRITE THIS YELP WAS THE FACT THAT THE BRAND NEW OWNERS MANUAL FOR MY BRAND NEW CAR HAD BEEN TAKEN FROM MY GLOVE BOX! I needed to check something and when I went to get it out.it was gone. Again, my friend, told me that this is quite a common occurrence. That manuals appear on eBay and such to be sold!!!! I cannot prove that the manual was taken by the mechanics at this garage; just too much of a coincidence for me. It is sad that I could not have developed a business relationship with this company. Despite good google reviews, these are not the guys to go to. They're also not on Angies list... for a good reason. The only good thing about these guys is that their labor charges are absurdly low. Of course, they're probably just not paying their mechanics very much. They overcharge on the parts by about 90%. They will try to tell you that it's the local auto parts store who is charging a 40% premium, but that's a load of hooey. Two local auto parts stores list their items ON THE SHELF at nearly half what these guys are charging. So if you use these guys, make sure they'll use the parts you bring in and then see if they'll do their absurdly low labor charges. read more

I recently moved to Naples and after a move one of my biggest concerns is finding a mechanic. Where I came from I had a great one, so I was concerned about starting over. My car is a 2008 and runs great but it does have issues from time to time. This place had great reviews between here and a local Naples Facebook group so I tried them with an oil change. Since I liked the staff then I went back a week or so later when my AC gave out. Again, another successful visit and the repairs needed were not nearly as bad as I suspected. They had no problem using the pads I brought in. Most places won't use parts a consumer brings in. I was so pleased with how professional they all were. First let me say that Nelson was excellent and he was very helpful and the owner was very nice. Dave was a complete jerk and the mechanic I dealt with was a complete jerk. When I brought my car there it was running horrible when they brought it out to me two hours later it was running horrible. When I brought it back eight minutes later the mechanic walks out and says what's the problem I said it's running like shit ,his response to me was with a bad attitude, it was running like shit when you brought it here wasn't it? The second trip they replace the two fouled spark plugs that was making it run like shit. Why wasn't it done the first time ?,because he never drove it up the street after fixing it so how could he know it's running like shit right? Then I looked under the hood when I got home to see my brand new spark plug wires and this is what my brand new spark plug wires look like. Dave's response was the engine was very dirty that's why the spark plug wires are dirty. Really? Every inch of the brand new wires is covered in grease?Oh and here's the real kicker for absolute horrible laziness and being cheap on product and robbing a customer,they didn't even replace the lost coolant with coolant they filled it with water! I called him back Dave was very aggressive very rude and was saying that I wasn't pleasant at all! I'm calling the owner tomorrow and letting him know this about his useless employees. I have been in Naples full time for 4 years. I have tried several auto repair shops. I accidently found this shop two weeks ago while out car shopping for my daughter. I explained that I had a appointment gave my name. He still stared at the computer never looking up to see and proceeded to type on computer for another 4 min. I walked out. Big Blue Auto. What else can I say but if your thinking of bringing your car here for repairs.... Run as fast as you can! I brought my Maxima in for a Power steering problem and after being given the quote, I told them to proceed. The car had a new pump and racks replaced for $1,800. A week later, I needed to put more fluid in and discovered the cap for the reservoir missing. What kind of mechanic leaves a cap off?? So they replaced the cap. After another week, I still had to add fluid. So I bring it back for the 3rd time for the same problem. They called me to say the high pressure hose has a leak and needs to be replaced. Hmm. Maybe it was the hose to start off with? And they said to fix it, they need to remove the belt that goes around all the pulleys. But there's a problem with the tensioner pulley and it needs to be replaced because the tensioner pulley won't loosen and allow them to remove the belt! So now I'm out another thousand bucks. They called me to say that the car is working and sounded great and that it's ready to be picked up. When my wife picked up the car she immediately called me and said that it sounded awful and was running terribly!! I drove it and it was misfiring. It was sputtering like it had no gas. I took it back. They didn't even diagnose what the problem was! Instead they called me to say the bearings in the front wheel are bad and that they need to replace for another $450. Enough is enough!!! I have to bring the car to someone else. Three times to get the power steering fixed and in the process they messed something else up! When I finally get the car fixed, as it should have been done the first time, I will let you know what the second mechanic says but as far as I am concerned, Big Blue stinks!! Maybe they are good at oil changes but Anything else is beyond their comprehension!!! read more
