This has a very home feel to it. Was greated right away with a big smile. I started with the fresh made pita and humus, I was so glad to see the pita was not out of a bag like so many places and the humus was spiced just right. I had the chicken plate for my main dish and everything tasted fresh, I'm not really a fan of tomatoes but here they where good. I lurched a spinach pie to take home and am looking foward to that. Best Lebanese/Mediterranean food I have ever had! Try the garden platter, which has gyro, lamb and chicken kabobs, and chicken shawarma.

I have had this as take out once before and this time ate in. When I ordered I got the spinach pie and grape leaves. The pie had good flavor but a little too much spinach. I would have liked more of the phyllo pastry. I enjoyed the grape leaves. Today, my friend had the lamb gyro wrap, which was tasty, a smaller version of some gyros I've seen but filling and tasty. I wanted the mezza but for me, it was too big, I was set to order something else. The woman at the front (owner? I'm not sure) came over to talk and I had suggested they put a smaller version on the lunch menu, she showed me a vegetarian version that was smaller on the dinner menu, and offered it to me. It was quite tasty. It came with tabuleh, hummus, falafel, and baba ghanoush. The baba was so tasty and garlicky, the tabuleh was fresh and crunchy and the flatbread as soft and chewy. Everything was tasty. I will definitely be back to try more off the menu. read more

A nice din and friendly servers create a decent ambience. They have plenty of veg*n options which I appreciate. I probably wouldn't run the AC at 65F but that's preference I guess. I suspect whatever success this restaurant has earned over the past few years has led to laziness in the kitchen, though. Almost every dish we had was problematic, all stemming from laziness. The hummus seemingly incorporates raw garlic, completely overpowering everything else. Who uses raw garlic? Roasted/fried garlic is so wonderful, why would you beat someone over the head with such an overpowering flavor? I woke up this morning with garlic on my breath, which reminded me to write this review. The fries were undercooked and appeared to just be frozen off the shelf. Some of the pieces were rotten. We ordered a fatoush salad, whose signature feature is the crispy fried pitas on top. Instead, they were out of fried pita crisps so they excluded it hoping we wouldn't notice. We complained, so they made us a few crisps that we're anything but crispy -- they we're soggy instead. Dude, the oil obviously isn't hot enough. Tabbouli is usually a light, crunchy salad. Instead it was plated drowned in some kind of sauce, all of which was pooling at the bottom. The cous cous was soggy from soaking it up and it was very unappealing. I'm confused how this dish should be difficult to execute correctly. Finally, the soup. I can only describe their Moroccan carrot soup as having a burned, astringent quality combined with the aftertaste of a nursing home. It's very over the top with seemingly cinnamon and nutmeg, maybe? I asked if the server had tried it, and she said people come in all the time just for the soup. Hmm, I somehow doubt that. I've had carrot soup before, in Morocco in fact, and it's nothing like this. In fact I've never really had anything like this. Finally, the falafel. It's decent, I think they make it in house. Why you'd plate it over a very thin film of tahini is beyond me but whatever. Just drizzle it on top or put it on the side next time. Ultimately I think their success has bred a laziness in execution and kitchen management. I don't review restaurants much but I felt like it needed to be called out. read more

This is by far the best middle eastern restaurant I have ever been too, it's small but has a homey feeling , it's all 100% authentic with that at Home taste, the last time I had middle eastern food this good was from my grandmother god test her soul , everything is so good , tha zatar is cooked to a beautiful crisp on bread , , The falafel are amazing , and so is the humus , it just needs a littl olive oil, And you have to try the cheese bread as well as the chicken on rice I live 30min away and the cherry on top is they said they would deliver , what else could u possibly want? I have been to this establishment four times already and it never disappoints. I love the kibbeh wrap, the cheese bread, the grape-leaves, the gyro, the falafel, the baklava, and the baklava. What a wonderful surprise. We were at Sky zone in Pittston and decided to make the drive over. What a good decision!! We sat outside and everything that came to the table was delicious. The owners also were delightful. The hummus appetizer with the most incredible flaky hot bread was great. Then everyone's meals was very good. The food could not have been better! From the Shwarma to the Gyro (organic lamb!) to the hummus (the garlic was perfect....I don't know what a reviewer was talking about)....everything was great. Including the pita....clearly not store bought but quite homemade. The Garden is beyond excellent in dining service and of course amazing Lebanese Cuisine! We visited from out of town yesterday with my family of eight and were taken care of with the freshest, most delicious food I have ever experienced! We started with the Garden Mesa and were blown away and excited by the beautiful arrangement and freshness of this traditional Lebanese sampler. My first time having Za'atar bread and our family went crazy for it!! oh my lucky stars. We all had something different including the Vegan delight, (also pitch perfect btw) the Fresh wild salmon salad , (my husband said it was the seriously freshest, best cooked salmon he had ever had), filet mignon that was the size of a FAT ribeye, and more at our table. The atmosphere was delightful and welcoming, the owner, servers and hostess laughed and talked with us and made us feel like good friends. My 5 year old little boy DEVOURED all the delicious food. I highly, (cannot stress this enough) HIGHLY recommend this place for lunch and dinner. It is awesome!! Im literally eating my take home extras of Baba ghanouj while writing this. I took my best friend and my gram here. There are many different options and they were delicious. Everything was fresh and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, though I'm sure the staff consisted of only one man. My friend got the lamb gyro that she enjoyed, my gram, who isn't keen on new things, ordered baba ghannouj which looked unsightly to her, but she also enjoyed her meal.
