Stopped here for the night in order to get a few hours of rest before heading to the Bay Area. I would not choose this location to stop again. It was 40 degrees and men were on bikes going inside the truck park areas and looking in vehicles. Inside the truckers parking area, there are homeless encampments with piece of chairs, mattresses, junk and other items thrown everywhere. The lighting was good. The bathrooms were filthy, blood on the walls and feces looked like it exploded inside and out of the toilet. Thankful I brought sandals and my own towel so I could shower the next morning. The showers were not as bad as the bathrooms but there were still used razors in the bathroom. The management needs to consider assisting customers in the order they arrive, but the man behind the counter had no sense of direction. It was strange that he would speak English impeccably at times and then others act like he couldn't even understand the questions I would ask. Be careful as you walk into the gas station, it looks like someone just opened all of the deliveries, stocked the shelves and then threw the trash out the front door. It's an accident waiting to happen, so tread carefully. The place has tons of potential, just need the right person running the place. read more

It's just a regular small store with a few garlic products (pricey), a little ice cream shop, a togos (sandwich shop) and all the regular liquor store/gas stations items. All at the bottom of a motel between 2 gas stations. Caters to Lots of truckers & travelers read more

This is a great place to stop on Highway 101 if you need to get gas or if you need Togo's or if you need a Baskin-Robbins fix! The clerks are really nice and helpful. There's a lot of truckers that go there so that is what it is. They sell garlic braids and some garlic products. They also have a large convenience store selection. They also sell area maps and some shirts with area logos on them. The gas is not that cheap but it's not that expensive either. They don't close the store for cleaning at night. That's a plus because the major gas station across the street closes for two hours I will let you know matter what! You can get gas... Pay... And get out quickly... That's what I like! My husband & I stopped by to dump our RV's tank. $5. Kind of a sketchy area at night but nothing major. Couldn't find the potable water, I read online somewhere that they have it but we were in a hurry so we just left without filling up. The Bay Area & surrounding places have very little options for RV dumps and most cost $20 or more so for us, we were satisfied! read more

If your stopping to put gas this review probably won't apply to you. But for all the truckers out there you have been warned. This place is a dump and unsafe. The parking area is full of trash, bums have tents pitched along the rail road tracks just feet away. Transients are walking around everywhere and you can tell they are on meth. Walking around all hours of the night, talking right outside your window not allowing you to sleep out of fear for the safety of yourself and truck. Had a guy knock on my door asking if I could pay him to wash my rims and tires. Not to mention the rats and stray cats everywhere. Dispatch forced me to get closer to my drop which I was not happy about because I knew this would be the place I would have to stop for the night. Next time I get told to get closer to my drop I will refuse and tell them to get screwed if I have to stay in an unsafe location as this. The inside of the stores was nasty the restrooms and showers are outdated and dirty. Like I said if your putting gas and picking up a Red Bull, sure. But if your stopping for the night (out of hours) plan to stay inside the truck for your 10 hour break. read more

Review for the hotel! Not a bad hotel actually, much better than what I thought it would be. It's weird to check-in between two gas stations and it's weird to be between two gas stations, but the hotel itself was very comfortable. There was a microwave, a refrigerator, a TV; the bathroom was all connected so nobody could use the sink while someone else used the toilet/shower, but that's okay. It wasn't super clean but it was passable. There was also internet! Such a random place to have internet, I couldn't believe it. It was slow sometimes, but it did work. Not a bad price too - one bed $74 per night. It's not super duper, but I'd say it's 3.5 stars! read more

I really like the guy who works there; he's really friendly =) The poodle puppies (they're enormous) are so chill! I love dogs, and they're the store mascots as far as I'm concerned. GET THE GARLIC CHIPS; there's no dairy in them and they're STILL bomb (and lactose intolerant people friendly). I got some garlic salsa with a tad bit of habenero in it and it was pretty bomb :D. It's definitely a cute little local place worth visiting and giving business to. If you live in San Jose, get your garlic here n_n Parking is AWESOME (plenty of spaces). read more

Ew. $55/night is too much for this place. NASTY! The fact that you check into the hotel in the same place that you pay for gas says it all.. Go across the street to Motel 6, if you're looking for a cheap place to stay. It was $65/night there and it was very clean. read more

I'm a truck driver, we came in late at night to park and sleep. It was close to our pick up the next day. Didn't really see the place until the next morning. We went in to use the restroom. Gross! Looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in 2 months. I'm surprised the Health Department hasn't shut them down, there was bagged trash by the front of the store as you walked in. The outside parking lot is trash everywhere. Homeless people live in tents out back by the railroad tracks. Stray cats running around and people living in old run down campers that look as if they are not road worthy so they just left them where they broke down. We got out in the parking lot and the smell was overwhelming of urine. Not kidding ... like a large toilet! Rodent of some sort scurrying by the building made me jump first thing in the morning. I never thought this filth existed in our country with Health inspectors. Horrible place, I would rather park on side of highway. I rate this place with -0 stars. read more

Lots of secondary 18 wheeler parking, easy to get to via 101 and lots of good options, authentic Mexican tacos via the taco truck on the AM. $6 fast food options are great pass on KFC to slow and under staffed under stocked. read more

Single seat bathroom in the store, or 2 more seats on the other side of the store with an entrance outside... Not the cleanest bathrooms, but they work. Awkward parking areas, but quite a few spots. The only other plus side is the Baskin Robins has one flavor of no-sugar-added ice cream!! read more
