    Hummus Plate

Sitting outside on a gorgeous Friday afternoon at a perfect spot to enjoy a libation. If you're looking for a place to wind down on a Friday after a long week of work, this just might be your answer. You can sit inside or outside. If you sit outside, I might suggest sitting at the bar as the folks there are both friendly and offer excellent drink suggestions. You can eat outside too. both appetizers and dinners. The hummus plate is an excellent choice if you're looking for something not too filling, but yet satisfying. It comes with carrots, lettuce, hummus, of course, two other toppings and pita bread.

The Gavel is a local classic. Great vibe and ambience, a cozy local tavern. The live band tonight was great, and the outdoor seating was awesome! Our dinners were all to die for, and service was good too! Everything was top notch for a local pub, and we couldn't have been happier! The pepperoni and ricotta pizza pictured here was phenomenal, with hot honey drizzle to top it off and make it fantastic!

Get the nachos! I am always looking for good nachos. We were in Wrentham for a day of shopping and stopped here for a quick bite. The nachos were AMAZING! Cooked in a cast iron skillet delivered to our table. Not a single soggy chip, crunch on evey bite absolutely delicious! Nice outside seating and terrific specialty margaritas! The service was great too!

If I could leave zero stars I would- I just experienced the worst of worst- Don't ever order a margarita here- you will receive a small glass full of ice, lime juice, and I didn't even taste a hint of tequila... then the ahi tuna tacos- nearly made me vomit, and that was just looking at the fish when it arrived... The oriental salad had no hint of oriental in it other than a few slithers of crunchy noodles- the chili based dressing burnt my mouth off and I had to drink 2 full glasses of water... dont ever order the French onion soup; I've never drunk dishwater but this tasteless, watery, thin bouilion soup with anemic sloppy cheese on-top deserved to be poured down the toilet. Service was awful too.

Good spot, gets crowded. Food is a bit pricey but decent. Bar area has a fun vibe. Will be back.

Honestly, this is refreshing as corporations understaff and stress their employees. This local owner know what we the patrons want, we want people who are happy with their jobs and that's done by great staffing. This is my go to for any gift. Yes, you're paying more for a book than you would on Amazon but this is the opposite of a greedy corporation who screws everyone. This is truly local and I'm lucky to live 20 mins away.

My friend and I went on a weekday night, about 2 hours before closing so it was pretty quiet. I initially thought the bookstore was only on the first floor of the building but turns out it's a multi-story experience. There is a parking lot at the back where I parked and I was able to enter through the back door (not sure if this is the main entrance). On the first floor, they have some books, bathrooms, a check out desk, nick nacks (hats, stationery, puzzles, etc.), and most importantly, a coffee shop. The coffee shop was closing up around the time we got there so plan accordingly and do some research on their hours. as they are not the same as the bookstore. The books are clearly labeled by genre. After taking a stroll, we decided to check out the second floor which was supposed to have a little market, a stage where they host events, and some very comfortable couches along with tables and chairs. I mostly came to see if a book spoke to me, but also to get some reading in from the book I brought along with me. The lighting is good, although I sometimes prefer to have a dimmer setting for a cozier feel. We spent about 1.25 hours here, but we could have easily spent a longer time if it weren't so close to closing.

I have Celiac Disease so finding a place that is competent regarding allergies is difficult. I felt comfortable in the amount of questions they asked regarding cross contamination and how my food can be prepared. They were kind and knowledgeable about their products, including their coffee syrups. Inside the cafe there's a pick up area for mobile orders as well as a good amount of seating! It's such a cute cafe to sit and chat with friends or just grab a quick drink. I even saw some people working on their laptops. I got a bacon egg and cheese on a gluten free roll and an Irish crème latte. Both were so so good. I would definitely return for another drink and meal! The only thing I would mention is that the parking is a bit tricky. It's all street parking and the recent pile ups of snow doesn't make it any easier to access a parking spot.

I ordered "The American" breakfast wrap, also offered in a bowl and I almost wish I got the bowl. It was by no means a bad wrap but I'm picky with my wraps so I think this was a wheat wrap which made it a little more grainy. They packed it full with egg and sausage so that was great. However, I do wish there was more scram sauce to taste because that is what made it different from the others. I also ordered the Iced cinnamon roll coffee and that was amazing! Definitely recommend.

I walked up to the counter and found the coffee straightforward. The line moved at a reasonable pace even when it got busy, which mattered when I was trying to keep a shopping day moving. Staff were generally friendly and the service had an easygoing quality to it that made the interaction pleasant enough. The coffee itself was decent but not something I would go out of my way for. It hit the mark for a grab and go order without doing anything particularly memorable. I found the espresso drinks to be the more reliable option over some of the other menu items, and sticking to the basics yielded better results than venturing too far into the specialty drink territory. The one thing worth knowing before I went is that this location does not have indoor seating. The space has room but no tables or chairs, which makes it purely a take away stop. If I had been planning to sit down and take a break from shopping, this would not have been the place for that. It worked fine as a pickup and keep moving kind of stop. For a chain coffee option inside an outlet mall, it is a reasonable choice when I need something quick. There are better coffee destinations in the Boston area worth seeking out, but as a convenience stop while already at Wrentham, it does the job.
