Dr. Henriod is a master at his craft. The office is pristine, the staff is friendly and the appointments are honored in a timely manner. The Star Trek style high tech gadgets are cool too. In all honesty, after three extractions, bone grafts and implants, I hope I don't have to go back, but if I do, I know the experience will be much more pleasant than I could anticipate.

I specifically asked before booking, at check-in, and again after the appointment. The visit itself lasted about 1-2 minutes. The dentist performed a brief visual exam and told me everything looked fine. No periodontal probing, charting, or treatment planning was done. The office initially billed my insurance under a comprehensive periodontal evaluation code, which did not reflect the services performed. After I questioned it, they resubmitted the claim under a limited exam code, which was then denied due to frequency limitations. I was ultimately required to pay $50 to avoid collections. What disappointed me most was not just the billing issue, but the lack of empathy when I raised concerns to "Rafi". There was no acknowledgment of the miscommunication or incorrect initial coding .. just a firm statement that it was "my responsibility." Clear communication about coverage and better billing transparency would have prevented this situation. I hope the office improves this process for future patients. very disappointed.

I've actively changed insurance companies to make sure I'm a patient. Staff is amazing. Cleanest facilities. Care quality through the roof. I have been…read moregoing to Dr. Vick for a handful of years now and I have to say, he is very gentle and competent. Never does he try to upsell me on unnecessary procedures or items like "mouth guards", "deep cleaning" and all the other crap that dental offices are notorious for. Some years ago, when I developed some cavities, he administered the most pain-free shots I have ever had. I had gone through a lot of trauma with other dental offices, both in procedures as well as financial abuse. So I was very skeptical and afraid when seeing him. He took his time explaining and slowly eased the shots into my mouth after taking his time to wait for the numbing gel to take effect. He treated me in a dignified manner, explaining as he was very slowly and gently easing the shots into my flesh. It felt like a slight pinch, but there was absolutely NO PAIN. I couldn't believe it. So I knew he was my long-term dentist. Now, I just come in for basic cleanings every six months. However, I do follow his directions in brushing my teeth at least 2 times a day and flossing once or twice a day. I also watch my diet, and keep an eye on sweets and alcohol, which can definitely cause cavities to form much easier. The dental tech, I believe his name is James Joseph or Joseph James is a nice guy too. (I cannot speak on the other dental techs and I'm not sure they are as gentle so just ask for Joeseph James when you decide to go to Dr. Vick's office.) Very gentle with my mouth and teeth when he does the cleanings and no one ever tries to upsell me on anything. Ever. (A lot of dental outfits try to rip you off and will put you through all kinds of torture procedures just to pad the bill and line their pockets. This is especially the case with commercial dental chains) Dr. Vick is a locally owned business. And that's really the key to finding the right dentist. A dentist who depends on his reputation will be more motivated to do right by you than a commercial dental chain. (The worst of the worst are Premier Care Dental and Liberty in my experience.) Ladies, if you are looking for a qualified and compassionate dentist for you and your children & family, take a look at Dr. Vick. My experience has proven to be very positive. The gentle and compassionate way he treated me leaves no doubt that he is definitely going to help the little ones be at ease when they come for their dental health. I can completely relax in the dental chair when I get there. In fact, I see it as part of my self-care program and have come to enjoy going to the dentist. I'd never in a million years thought that I would say that I like going to the dentist. Unheard of. But it's true in my case. Guys, if you're afraid of going to the dentist and you've held off going for a long time, like I have in years before, check out Dr. Vick's office. (I held off going to any dentists for decades, because of past trauma with dental offices.) I know we guys secretly are much less courageous than the women in our lives about taking care of ourselves, especially when it comes to certain medical/health procedures like dental health, but I do highly recommend Dr. Vick. You have to get it done, so why not go to a dentist that will be kind and gentle, and has integrity? PS. If you have to pay out of pocket for something, Dr Vick's office lets you do payment plans that can work for you. I have done that once and they were very nice and helpful in letting me do a payment plan that was a win-win.

He is very caring and compassionate. He is a very knowledgeable dentist, occasionally he is training dental assistant. But he is always making sure they do the right thing for the patient. If you search for all dentists around the area, It is not as bad as this place. Meaning that you have plenty to choose from. What so bad about this place? Well, I can't trust them, and THAT is about it. Ignore that User name Bob s. giving this place 5 stars. He's probably a friend of the owner. If you check his reviews, seem like he is leaving good reviews to his fellow colleague in the same field. (3 views total). As for me, I won't be coming here again. The dentist was nice at first, he gives smile face, I felt like I could trust him. I told him my situation that I am not very wealthy. I clearly told him, I only want to do basic cleaning and anything that my insurance could cover. He sounds like he is doing what is good for me. But everytime he talks, I felt like he is trying to chain me down into debts. He even tries to sign me up for some credit card to make a payment to his office. I did felt like just because I'm young, he thinks I'm an ignorant to be taken advantage of. This happened after the cleaning. First time at his office, I agreed to the cleaning, because I just met the Dentist. He seem trustworthy. I had went to other dentist before, they gave the same impression, so I thought, i have nothing to worry about. I came here, because it is local. They took my xray ahead of time. I sat down, ready to be cleaned. I thought the Dentist itself will be doing the cleaning. No, an unknown assistant, who also is handling the administrative works will be cleaning me. Ok fine, if she is good, what's the big deal right? I'm seeing her going back and forth, I do wonder if they clean their equipment properly after each used. I was very concern about the water vacuum that is put in my mouth. Before me, I saw another patient just walk out of that room. If you have the chance, question it next time. Her glove, I see her touching everywhere without changing it. Her cleaning was not as gentle as the place I used to go to. The cleaning felt kind of painful. Did she purposely go rough on the cleaning to cause a bleeding? Because they want to give me antibiotic shot on the next appointment that I was schedule to. Before you let anyone touch your teeth, check to see if they have a certificate (permit to even clean your teeth.) Maybe I'm just bias or misunderstood them. But I'm left with too many questions that I know I will not have the answer to. Did they really try to take advantage of me or they are doing what is best for me. Cause it's strange, I went back to my old dentist by san gabriel and valley, That dentist told me, I didn't need no $500 dollars per shot antibiotic, 3 treatments total too. He told me just rinse your mouth with some salt and mouth wash. hmmm.. At the end of the day, if I can't trust my dentist, I won't go to him. You can smile all you want and say nice things all you want. You can't stop me from getting a second opinion. Before you let him try to up sale you, find your way to get out of the office and get a second opinion. This dentist tries to put me in a debt commitment with such treatment, a treatment maybe I don't need. I experience it first hand on how he tries to convince me, and tries to seal the deal on the spot. Additional note: The place is not very busy, I don't see the point of appointment when I still have to wait. They made me sign some agreements about appointment. (Here is where I begin to lose my trust. They so eager to schedule you for an appointment. I felt like every each appointment, they want to give your healthy teeth something to do. If you don't keep you appointment, they will penalize you!) Can you smell green in the air? lol Goodluck. By the way, the things he said, it is not necessary not true. The real question is, do you need it? Just like company doing bug works at your house, you think you have termite, but really you don't. If there is a job for the company, I'm sure they would not say no. How many would tell you the truth, right? You have to eat, fine, but not by messing with my teeth.
