Since I have a sweet tooth, I have been going to dentists ever since I was in elementary school. Now that I'm a senior citizen, I have gone to numerous dentists. Everyone at this office went over and beyond with their initial greetings. It was definitely very welcoming to have the doctor come into the reception area to greet us. I have only had 2 other dentists do this, but I believe it is because they were related to me. The dental assistant was training someone, and both of them were very pleasant. I felt horrible when the trainee was taking x-rays, because I kept moving. She kept apologizing. She might have thought she was causing pain, but my right foot was cramping. When she completed the x-rays, I told her that she did great. I informed her that it was difficult for me to sit still, because my right foot was cramping. She and I had a good laugh about it, and she even offered to give me water to help resolve my issue with my foot that was still in pain. When Dr. Juarez entered the room, he had such an upbeat outlook with life. I liked how he said that he's happy to be able to wake up in the morning. By looking at him, I would have never known that he was older than I. He is very kind and patient. He took his time examining my teeth and gums. In fact, he is the only dentist that told me about something that was on the roof of my mouth. I would definitely recommend Dr. Juarez. It was very nice that Mrs. Juarez gave me a print out of what my future services would cost, and how much my insurance would pay for the services listed. Fortunately, I would not have any out of pocket expense thanks to the insurance company that I chose. By the way, there's a nice amount of parking in the back of the building. I am 68 years old and have been to many dentists in my life. Dr. Juarez is one of the absolute best treatments and personal experiences. The Dr is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and a pleasant human being. My grandmother and I have been coming here for years! Dr. Efren is extremely kind and always willing to accommodate us with appointments. I call in yesterday afternoon because I was having a problem with my permanent retainer that was poking at me and it was extremely painful. I've been coming to Dr. Juarez now for about 5 years. The dentist is the absolute worst place for me to go and my least favorite check-up appointment, but Dr. Juarez has made all my check-ups so enjoyable and he truly does care for all his patients. He's taught me proper dental hygiene and I've had no cavities for the last 4 years! He is very gentle when it comes to giving numbing shots and my dental cleanings have been painless as well. My teeth have bothered me for a long time. Small cavities need feeling and big holes need crowns. Looking for a dental office is not easy because I think not only the insurance, but also the dentist I could trust. Good thing takes time, eventually I found Efren Juarez DDS, whom my insurance (Anthem Blue) has contract with. Once I tried his office, I decided to stay with them. The dentist is caring. I am sensitive to the pain. Dr. Efren is very gentle and did the best to make me not feel the treatment. Dr. Efren is super low key person. He listens to patients need. He even did root canals for my back teeth after I pleased him because I feel worry free and want to put all my teeth work on his hands. One of their merits is that they don't cheat patients. They charge the lowest price for the crowns. I will only pay small portion after insurance covers the fee, really affordable. I'd like to start by saying I haven't always been a fearful dental patient. I have developed into one after one bad experience. I was searching for a dentist with patience, one who would believe me when i would say I felt pain during treatment. Dr JUAREZ is indeed the answer to my prayers. I never felt rushed during my appointment and is sensitive to my gestures of discomfort and increasing sedation without me asking. I'll start saying Dr Juarez is a down to earth guy you can talk to. He really cares about his patients. He even gives you his home and cell number to call him just in case (anytime any day). I found this GENTLE DENTIST after a week asking for referrals for an HONEST dentist (something it seams to be extinct). I was desperate 'cause I had visited another dentist in Beverly Hills (90211) and he told me I had 2 big cavities that for sure will need root canals (I must say I'm worst than a little kid with needles and dental procedures) so he freaked me out. For the record, before that visit I've never had in my life more than 3 fillings. So I sought a second opinion and that's how I met Dr Juarez (THANKS God). From my arrival to departure the service was excellent (Anna-front desk- is so kind and also Manuela-doctor's assistant). Seen right on time, no waiting around. Felt like I was at a spa...relaxing music, comforting environment, very courteous staff. The best thing: he took his own x-rays and told me in his experience I won't need the RC but he confirm once he start his job there... and guess what!? I didn't need them!!! He saved my 2 molars working calm and meticulously. Cant beat the quality of his work and his prices!! (I don't have dental insurance). I drove 22 miles just to see him and will do it again! This is the only place in town if you are looking for a caring, consciousness and well meaning doctor and staff. My first experience with Dr Juarez was super amazing he offered to open his practice during his off hours because of my situation and gave me his cell so we could stay in touch until he was able to manage my infection and pain. Not sure how many dentist do this because this is my first experience with any dentist where I get his cell phone number. Since then I have had routine work, cleaning and a tooth removed and it is always a great experience to walk into his office. The staff is super friendly and caring always offering you something to drink.
