It's a good Jersey Mike's I like the one in Freeport better cuz it's older, the Oceanside team seems to forget a few things every now and then but overall definitely good. Working right now at 430pm on 7/8/25 the two ladies that helped me were amazing. Great customer service but the guy that is working there on cutting up the meats has a huge attitude problem with throwing condiments bottles around and saying inappropriate comments under his breath. Nice and clean space with easy to order menu - very friendly and helpful staff - sandwich making is organized well - fountain and bottled drinks available - ordered some fresh tasting good quality sandwiches perfect for lunch. You can also order off menu. Went in for lunch - people were dining there and also picking up to go. My #5 super sub with vinegar and oil tasted phenomenal and hit the spot. Husband ordered the Philly cheesecake #56 and he stated it was pretty good. So happy my daughter chose Jersey Mike's to come to for lunch. read more

Every time I go to this location they forget to put the bacon on the sandwich that comes with the sandwich. The kid made me a sandwich tonight and asked if there was anything else I want on it and I said yes the bacon that comes with the sandwich. This place is so filthy I cannot believe anyone eats here. This location owes me $10 for the lunch I paid for and then threw out on my way out the door. Countertops are dirty. Employee gloves are dirty. They do not change gloves and touch absolutely everything. They do not wipe the counters. They slid my sandwich across the filthy counter. The toppings containers are all cross contaminated. The so called manager who kept saying she was a manager does nothing to keep this place sanitary. The reviews are correct...this Jersey Mikes is the pits.. I'm a fan of Jersey Mike's but this branch is an embarrassment. Placed an order at 5:15 PM for a 6:56 pickup. When I get there order has not even been started. After waiting 15 minutes the order is given to me and I returned home. Upon opening it ..well disappointing...wrong bread (also stale), missing some toppings, just thrown together...This branch is doing damage to the Jersey Mike's name....I hope someone from corporate checks these feedback...These guys should have their franchise revoked... read more

Stopped here because I was really in need of a good sub. Training of new staff was happening when I entered and the staff didn't seem too pressed to pause to take my order. Nor did they address me to say just one minute, It was like they didn't see me standing there at all. The customers who enter after me got near immediately service as one of the staff members paused the training to take their order. The one plus about my visit was that the young lady who rang me up was extremely pleasant and even asked how my day was but everyone else seemed to really not care. I've been holding off on this sending this review for quite a while. However one thing has been consistent when this one individual is taking order. It's awful. The service when Connick ( not sure if it's the correct spelling)but he's the gentleman with the mustache and beard is horrendous. The gentleman does not even acknowledge you your existence. This happens with the same person through a period I would say of at least six months or more. It might be close to a year. I'm not sure if he's the lead person, manager or supervisor. But when he's around it takes forever just to get an order in. This person cannot multitask. I'm aware if he might be in the middle of an order but it literally takes seconds to take down your order number. Or at least acknowledge your existence. Say hello, I'll be with you in a moment. You get nothing. Like you're not even there. The order self takes some time to fulfill. But at least get the order started to so the customer is not waiting what appears to be forever to get your order down and then wait for the order itself. The only thing consistent here is that the same thing happens when this person is in. I'm giving it a one star rating but it should be a zero star rating. You really can't blame the others workers because they're waiting for the order to come in so he's the gate keeper to get the process going. However I do have to mention that the other members under this person seem to be listless Even though they do seem polite when you communicate with them. On the positive side when I visit this location and there's another team leader taking down orders the place seems to be run well. They acknowledge you when you walk in and your order is taken promptly. The order still takes a bit but at least you know the order is in and they're working on it. You're greeted with a smile the order is completed within a reasonable time. This team leader (That does NOT have Connick) and this crew would get at least four stars in my book. Note to franchise owner or corporate. There has been other sandwich shops in the neighborhood in the past and they have failed. This neighborhood is a family-based neighborhood. And most families buy deli meat at the deli or supermarket because if it's more cost-effective to feed a family of let's say 4 than for them to spend $50 plus on a sandwich shop meal. No one wants a businesses to fail but service is the key to winning over customers . That and perceived value and taste. This location need to address this person (Connick)and they might have a chance. Customer service is key to success . read more

I was given a card with that was for $2 donation. It was given to me when I went to get a sandwich and they hadn't opened yet. Long story short, the card expired the day before and the guy who was at the register named Zach said it was no good. He was very Rude. Then when I went back to ask his name he said I was going to give you a discount but I walked out. He was rude from when I asked about heating up the gluten bread. I understand his reason for not doing it it was just how rude he was. Great customer service. He said what do I want him to do run out after me to give me a discount. The worst. You can't go wrong with sandwiches and the Original Italian and Philly cheesesteak sandwiches were very good. The bread isn't so great but that's what you expect from a fast food place as opposed to an actual deli. Unfortunately, the staff including the manager at the Oceanside location, were so very rude. They do not respond when spoken to, there are NO smiles and absolutely no pleasantries. I watched the interaction of the customer in front of me online as she attempted to get a positive reaction from the server at the condiment station (lettuce etc). This guy would not look at her, did not reply looked like he hated every minute of being there ... just watched TV; then it was my turn. I told him NOT to cut the sandwich ... it was already "mini" in size but he didn't care and did what he wanted. There are so many options for sandwiches which are fresher and better elsewhere why would I return. Yet if the service were friendly and pleasant this would be a reason to return. The service can make or break a place like this! I won't be back; unless I hear thru the grapevine of my community (Oceanside) that there has been a change in management and service workers for the better. It's a tough economy, so many of us work hard to make ends meet and I don't need to pay for a server to disrespect me through their rudeness when I choose enter the shop.
