Stopped in on a Saturday night to hear music and had a fabulous dinner and evening. The band was "Seeing Red", an 80s rock and disco throwback band. Excellent! Everybody was dancing. The crowd was fun. We started off with the mussels in a white wine broth, which were plump and delicious. For entrées, we ordered a pasta dish with asparagus and peas, and a vodka sauce, and a bacon cheeseburger minus the bun with a salad. The pasta was excellent, homemade and perfect. The burger was juicy and delicious and hit the spot. Drinks were really tasty and we tried some blueberry lemonade, martinis and margaritas. Our waitress was awesome, really friendly and fun. overall, a great night!

You'd never know this place existed without word-of-mouth and I'm not sure why not but the bartender was amazing. Serve me great cocktail. Great little parking area and they had a great band OMG. The singer was everything the music, the tone not cheap not extremely pricey but a good time I really did go early. It was a last-minute decision to go but well worth it be aware that it was an older crowd not youngsters but if you're in your 40s 50s six and 70s this is a place to go.

Went to see a friend's band. Great atmosphere and great food! I had the PEI mussels and Sesame Crusted Tuna, my wife had freshly made Pappardele. All was terrific. For a drink I had the Smoked Old Fashioned. Actually I had two! My wife had the Lavender Drop. I thought on the expensive side but it was worth it. Good service for a busy place.

Fun night of great food, great food, great drinks, and effing amazing friends.

OMG the atmosphere. The food. The drinks. The style. I'm still sitting at my table on a Saturday night and typing this. THAT should tell you how good it is. My friend and I shared the surf n turf special. At a table of almost our usual 6, we'd usually share. It was so good we were all silent and no one offered to share until we'd had our fill. The drinks were too good NOT to share openly. Passing my phone around the table to see if they agree. Count how many type APPROVE. I APPROVE APPROVED APPROVE APPROVE APPROVE

Regretfully have to post this review. When this place first opened the food was excellent. The portion was a good size and the quality was perfect for a go to spot. Within the last few weeks it's has gotten bad. I ordered chicken sandwich to go from here and you couldn't see the chicken. I mean the chicken was so small that the bun and everything else overtook it. The chicken was the size of say the top of a soda can. It was good so I didn't say anything and figured I'd give them another chance. I ordered a beet salad and that was the nail in the coffin for me. I was in the restaurant business for over 25 years and would never not ever seen a place sell something like this. The arugula was old and tough definitely something you would never serve. Look at pic and let me know if you think this is $20.00. Head over to other places nearby as you defiantly don't get the quality for the price here anymore !

Guys, guys, guys- I know.....if you ever ate at the original Gordo's with its 1970s old timey feel- like I have, you'd be addicted too. But "claustrophobic atmosphere"? "Rotten food"? Where? I'm still confused with all the negative write ups here. To ease your mind, Gordo's North is actually the complete opposite in every sense of the word- but in a good way. Still run by the same owners, Gordo's North is tucked on the left side of a Thornwood strip mall. This place is dominated by a top-to-bottom chic design, a handful of two-top tables, huge bar, regular tables along with a Bistro-ish menu. By the way- there's a private dining room- not sure about size. Our server Herb(v?) was very accommodating to my many requests : no mustard, no cheese, etc...Thank you! Plus he was so freaking pleasant! I really don't know what's good here- but hubs' medium rare NY Strip was cooked to his liking. I initially wanted a Veggie Burger- but Gordo's North slacked on it. I mean...who doesn't offer at least a Veggie Burger nowadays? Shishito starter was good and my Salmon-topped Kale Salad was good too- I was just hoping it was the curly kale instead of the flat leaf. Plus eating from a bowl was awkward. Listen...all in all- for our late Sunday lunch, Gordo's N. packed on the flavors nicely.

Now there isn't any view and it's first come first serve so if you're looking for vibes sit inside lol but no complaints from me because we got a seat quick and our server was super nice. Had 2 cocktails and my girl had 2 mocktails, the apps were delish and fresh, we order a dozen raw oyster (6 east & 6 west) both were great, also had the shrimp ceviche on a tostada, we scooped everything off and crunched up the tostada to use a scoops. In still drooling. I ordered the fettuccini and clams for my entree she had a classic burger which came with her fave shoe string fries cooked to perfection. We really enjoyed our Sunday dinner out. Will be back again for sure.

My parents and I had just left the Jacob Burns Film Center and decided to go to Pubstreet for dinner. We got there around 6:30 and asked how long the wait would be. The hostess told us about 25 minutes. No problem. We were happy to wait. My father is 85 years old and his mobility has gotten worse recently, so he was in a wheelchair. After about 25 minutes had passed, my mother asked why we were still waiting. That is when we found out there were actually tables available toward the back of the restaurant. Apparently, the restaurant had decided that because my father was in a wheelchair, they wanted to wait for one of the tables closest to the front door to become available. They told us it was because the restaurant was crowded and they felt it would be safer for him. I explained that we had been there before and that getting my father to one of the tables in the back would not be a problem. We might have to ask someone to move for literally a few seconds so we could get the wheelchair past, but that was it. We weren't asking anyone to give up their table. We weren't asking to skip the line. We weren't asking the restaurant to rearrange the dining room. We just wanted to sit at an available table and have dinner. What bothered me the most was that nobody else had a problem with my father being in a wheelchair. The restaurant did. We have taken my father to many restaurants in his wheelchair and people have always been incredibly considerate. If someone needs to move a chair or stand up for a few seconds to let him through, they do. Nobody makes a big deal out of it. I tried one final time to explain this to the manager. I told her that we were completely comfortable taking one of the available tables and that we could get my father there without a problem. She basically shut the conversation down. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name, but I'm sure she knows who she is and remembers the three of us. At that point, we just said never mind and left. We put my 85 year old father back in the car and drove home hungry and disappointed. That's the part that really bothers me. My father wasn't asking for special treatment because he's in a wheelchair. He wasn't asking to go ahead of anyone. He wasn't asking anyone to give up a table for him. He just wanted to have dinner with his wife and son. We waited our turn. There were tables available. We told the restaurant we could safely get him to one of those tables. They still wouldn't seat us. I understand wanting to keep a customer safe, and if there had actually been some physical reason why we couldn't get his wheelchair to the table, I would completely understand. But we were standing there telling them that we could. Instead, the decision was made for him because he was in a wheelchair. That doesn't feel like accommodating someone with limited mobility. It feels like the exact opposite. We have eaten at Pubstreet before and never had an issue, which honestly makes this even more disappointing. After tonight, I don't see us going back. I really hope the owners read this and think about how this was handled, because an 85 year old man in a wheelchair should be made to feel welcome in a restaurant, not like his wheelchair is an inconvenience.

While I was initially looking forward to the Impossible burger which can be made vegan by omitting the cheese, I was informed that this location no longer carries Impossible meat since they now share the space with ihop. Thankfully, there were many more options! I went with the triple dipper with pretzel sticks, fried pickle, and fries. With the exception of the fries, the food was hot and tasted freshly made. Staff were decently attentive and the restaurant was well maintained. Definitely a great place to stop while traveling with a group as I did.

He was funny, friendly, and super personable. We ended up chatting about our kids and he made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. He mentioned the entire place was recently renovated, including the kitchen, and it shows. The space is clean, bright, and even smells new. The concept is pretty unique. The restaurant is split down the middle with IHOP on one side and Applebee's on the other, but now it operates as one combined menu. You can order anything from either side no matter where you sit. Breakfast all day, even at the bar, which is a fun twist. We started with the Ultimate Appetizer Trio with mozzarella sticks, chicken quesadillas, and chicken wontons. You get to pick three sauces, which is a great touch. The mozzarella sticks and quesadillas were very good, especially paired with the sauces. The chicken wontons missed for me. The Sweet Asian chile sauce and coleslaw did not work and the chicken texture was mushy. For drinks, I tried an Irish coffee since the espresso machine was down. It was not great. Very light on whiskey and came off watery with no real creaminess. The hot chocolate was just okay. The Bourbon Street Steak had good flavor, but the cut is now top sirloin instead of ribeye and it shows. Still enjoyable, but not as strong as it used to be. The fries that came with it were solid. The highlight for me was the Ultimate Breakfast Burger. It had a lot going on with a beef patty, hash browns, American cheese, bacon, a fried egg, and poblano hollandaise on a brioche bun. I swapped the egg to fried hard. Messy, falling apart, but somehow it all worked and tasted great. I also took advantage of the 2 for $25 deal with some upgrades and tried the 3 Cheese Chicken Penne and the Bourbon Street Chicken and Shrimp. Both were good and added even more value to the visit. Overall, this was a great experience. Strong service, a clean and updated space, and a fun concept that gives you the best of both worlds with grill, bar, and breakfast all in one place. I would definitely come back and try more items like the O M Cheese burger, quesadilla burger, bacon cheddar chicken sandwich, loaded buffalo chicken omelette, brownie bite, and the sizzling butter pecan blondie.
