    Property "Management? " What do they do, exactly? They don't…read morerespond to texts or phone calls, and send all emails in "no-reply" format to avoid engagement. They won't communicate, and then try to bully and extort you with threats to sully your rental history and credit score . You never see them on the property. Then they refuse to do a walk through of the property with you, so they can attach a series of bogus repairs that you can't contest. Fortunately I took videos and documented all of my no response contact attempts. Included are paint touchups, which are exempt after 4 years of residency . Not only do they keep the deposit, they lie to you and say you're getting it back, and instead try to make you pay them for their laziness. Lazy is the best all-encompassing word for this "management" company. There is a mass exodus of long term tenants, all of whom verify these statements. Nobody has anything good to say about them. If they do, they are a paid plant from Fowler Mgmt. Liars who shy away from any confrontation or resolution, preferring to hide behind their corporate structure, and saddle you with BS claims. Hundreds of management companies exist in the DFW area- if you are considering renting from Fowler Management, one word: DON'T. Run far far away. They took over the property I was at a year ago , removed the sign on the building and never replaced it. They simply do not care . They offer zero amenities and yet continue to price their properties as if they are some modern luxury homes. They don't market their properties- they are either preparing to sell them or it's a money laundering operation. If you want maintenance, be prepared to wait several days. In summary, I'm not sure "management" should be in their titles Yelp offers 1 to 5 stars as a rating scale. Zero is the only applicable score here. There is no excuse for this sort of lazy, unprofessional, apathetic incompetence.

    Let me preface this with saying I am not one to leave a negative review for anything…read more Sam Woods , operator at the Dallas Luxury Realty Proprety Management Group is worth reviewing. Sam has a couple of hardworking , knowledgeable members of his team which I infer is the reason they currently have a high rating. However, Sam is far from this. During our stay at one of his groups property's , Sam attempted to bully, intimidated and belittle us. Never in my life have I worked with someone who showed the lack of respect that Mr. Woods displayed. Upon move in the home was infested with Bugs, broken appliances , poor carpet quality and old paint. After months of deliberation and weeks to fix the issue we finally were able to recoup some of the costs that were associated with their lack of property management. Upon move out Sam gave us a laundry list of charges that were not associated with our occupancy and attempted to bully us into paying them out of our security deposit. Sam is not someone I would recommend to anyone and I am hopeful that just one person is able to read this and make a decision to hire his company/ not stay at one of his proprieties. Updating review to respond to Sams comment: I agree that reviews are important , both good and bad. I hope you are able to take this review and improve your services. There are multiple inconsistencies in your response to my review. We indeed did begin our lease in mid August 2022 but did not move into the property until the end of August. Upon move in all carpeted areas were covered in fleas. I have attached a picture to make sure that we are both able to show proof to let the public decide. This was reported multiple times and was not taken care of for about a month. Regarding the appliances. Please check the dates, upon move in there was neither a functioning dishwasher nor refrigerator. The dishwasher was promptly fixed however the refrigerator was not replaced for approx 30 days. Please check dates again, Sam. Regarding the carpet, the carpet was in below average condition upon move in and was very similar upon move out. At no point did a pet enter the home as we do not have one and have an allergy to pets. I maintain that Sam was dismissive and threatening in the process of receiving our security deposit. Sometimes the truth hurts but public forums like yelp give renters the ability to share their experiences.

My property had been…read moresitting vacant with very little activity, and after switching to Westrom, they secured a qualified 2-year tenant in about ONE WEEK, at a HIGHER rent than I previously had. I would never have thought I could get that number. I was absolutely blown away. Jon Westrom, the owner, even met me on a Sunday to walk through the property and talk strategy. That level of dedication is rare. His entire team works with real fire, fast, motivated, and incredibly effective. They communicate clearly, take action immediately, and truly go above and beyond. I'm beyond impressed and extremely grateful. If you're looking for the best property management company in DFW, Westrom Group is it. Highly, highly recommend.

The back spicket is broken and you can't connect a hose to it plus it's coming out of the siding. My fence is rotting to death. We don't use the pool anymore because adults aren't allowed to have fun. Ridiculous. I'm not talking be inappropriate. We should be able to bring a noodle? As a renter I pay for all of this. We pay over $2200 a month for 1600 square feet and that includes the garage. They care more about the land lord than the tenants. When the lease is up we are out. I recommend everyone do research before you rent. Rent is always negotiatable if you're dealing with honest people! I will not attack anyone 1 person. I feel that both renter and landlord should be happy not just 1 sided. Jon I have discussed these problems with you months ago and I texted you today around 11:50am and it's 5:00pm. You are the one who made the rules and said that the privacy fence is a privilege and your office says it too. In fact you have it in your hand book. I respect honest people. You aren't being honest. This relationship will end on the last date of the lease and I will take care of everything you need from me to get out of here.     I posted this on Google reviews, so I'm gonna go ahead and copy and paste…read more The ceiling collapsed and there was black mold and rotted old wood. The other apartments also experienced this issue or at the very least wet/damaged walls. I had to document a LOT of other damage when I moved in so as not to be held responsible for it but that was the worst part of living here, specifically because maintenance didn't get on it for a month, and my calls were not answered or returned during this time. I called the city health inspector. They came out to address the one issue of a collapsed ceiling I reported, but also, without my prompting, noticed various other problems - a gap underneath the front door, sunken floor, etc. Our gate lock was broken also at some point. They did REMOVE the lock, but it was never replaced as far as I know (I'd moved out soon after that). There were mice, cockroaches, despite my cleanliness. I saw pest control come by once (which I guess might be normal?) and they did a kind of half-assed job, which isn't the apartments fault, but I feel they could have been vetted more. The trash cans had maggots and were absolutely disgusting and smelled, and the front yard for the building was covered in holes and trash. Myself and my neighbors asked a couple times for new cans or some maintenance outside (the most we got was tree trimming, it seemed). The person we were talking to appeared to have quit or been fired soon after that, though. Then it was hard to contact their replacement... ever. I would say just don't move specifically onto the street I was on, but these are just unhelpful and careless people. We were suffering. And YES, they do a raffle monthly where you will be rewarded for a good review. Residents are desperate enough already, so these good reviews are all BS. Also attached notes from the city health inspector, only one of which was addressed. Sorry for the rant.

Hot water over responsive; and a bevy of other complaints. I contacted the team and worked with them to not only address intra apartment "to-do's" and felt like I was part of a team. They went the extra mile. The Waller Group was keen to see the property upgraded and returned to a chic, Oak Lawn boutique community. It's exciting to see an old charm brought into a new life. Let's hope Team Waller works magic with a 're-fab' of the rest of the block. Great job and Five Star all the way.
