What a fun night hanging out with the comedians after their show! Great food and service. Seems to be the favorite hang out spot for the comedians. Looking forward to coming back.

Rating this venue 4 stars strictly for their burger and beverage HH special. For $14, you can get a burger, fries and a beer/soda! I opted for sweet potato fries and a diet coke. The food came out super fast and the service was phenomenal. Crowd tends to be working professionals on weekdays which I prefer. Volume is a bit loud but I didn't stay long. I highly recommend.

4.2/5 Naughty&Nice -- lightly fruity and refreshing! 3.8/5 The Perfect Matcha -- matcha flavor initially on the palate but ends in an earthier nutmeg note 4/5 Gin and Tonic -- very standard! Would consider returning for their weekday specials! Also as other reviewers have noted, the music here is very loud -- even diffcult to hear the person next to you for a conversation.

Came in around 5:30pm Wednesday for the Happy Hour $14 Burger & Beer special. Liam was attending the bar and started off with the beer question of Light or Dark? Dark arrived as an amber lager- mild with nice character- in a frosted mug to keep it cold. Sweet Potato or Regular Fries? Sweet potato is an option?! Yes please! When the burger basket arrived I noticed it wasn't just a burger, but a cheese burger, bonus! This may be the best burger & beer deal in the city. The bun was the kind that squishes flat when you need it to, but still absorbs the ketchup mayo dressing and lettuce juices from hitting your hand. The sweet potato fries, perfectly crisp outside and squishy inside. The burger itself, nicely seasoned with a hit of pepper. Liam was on top of the next potential refill before I could even look up. The bar company was a mix of professionals and contractors. The QR code menu also revealed some nice Vegan friendly options like Vegan Chili and Veggie Burger. A great Nomad/Flatiron neighborhood Pub option after work!

Wow! So so good! Ryan the bartender was wonderful, makes a mean spicy marg. Highly recommend curry cheese fries, fish and chips, and Guinness! 10/10 Will be coming back!! Also perfect proximity to Gramercy Theater!!

This bar had some cool moments but the music was wayyyy too loud ! I stopped here after having dinner next door because I thought it would be more of a chill old school bar. It definitely was with the design and moments through out (exposed brick walls, carved wood moments and solid bar, details of things), but they definitely made it more "hip" with the music. I ordered a cider and they only had one option which is on par with a lot of bars these days. I enjoyed it though. The bartenders don't talk to you too much which I was actually glad of because the music was so loud ! It seemed like it was primarily groups of people here having a good time or kicking off their Saturday night shenanigans. Overall the volume of the music really defined my experience and I personally wouldn't come back here... maybe that means I'm getting old

Drinks 2/5 Food 2/5 The problem was the ingredients in the food and the technique in the drinks Service 4/5 Servers and guests were chill and fun Price 2/5 Expensive even if it was good but it was not Music 2/5 Cleanliness 4/5 The bathroom was not as tidy and it was very small in comparison to how big the venue is BIG space is the saving grace plus dim lighting does not hurt We got 3 El Jefe cocktails, 1 nacho, 1 sweet potato fries, and 1 veggie burger Cocktails were not stirred well and bland when it's supposed to have jalapeño The jalapeño in the nachos made up for the absence in the drinks and not in a good way Probably the blandest veggie burger I have had You didn't think they can mess up sweet potato fries or nachos but..... Total was $93 before tax and tip We went on a Wednesday night and had the back side of the restaurant all to ourselves for a date

What a wonderful bar this is. Staff is extremely friendly. Very courteous and kind. Especially Jen and Regina. I had a very big party here with 150 people and they were accommodating to us all. The food is out of this world, I recommend the buffalo wings. Wow! I find myself licking my lips for more. The ambiance is very cool. This bar has been around since the 1800s and it feels very old timey. It's a bar you'd love to have a nice pint of Guinness and think about life. I thought about not writing this because I want to gatekeep this bar from the TikTok fiends, but it's too hard to keep it in,

Large space with three bar areas a block from The Gramercy Theatre. Stopped in here for some pre show libations. Beers were relatively cheap for Manhattan. Round of six beers was $43.00. Must have been Friday Happy Hour. They lost a star because they have a credit card surcharge.

5 stars happy hour! I went to The Globe with a group of friends. One of my friends made a reservation, and it was nice arriving and seeing we had two tables at the back. The service was on point, and everyone ordered separately at the bar at their best convenience. I ordered one of the happy hour specials - a burger and a soda ($14). The burger was juicy and tasty. The bar was not crowded or loud. There was plenty of space to move around, get a seat, or stand up. I would recommend this spot for large groups and grab a bite and drinks. I know I will be back sometime soon.

Servers seemed a bit annoyed to have to deal with us shortly before close as I think they were hoping to usher people out and close down maybe a little early. It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. Since we had cocktails at dinner, we only stayed for one round. Service was good, and overall I enjoyed my time at Patent Pending. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu.
