Meh. Watched a friend's son play here and decided to eat while watching his team. I had a traditional chef's salad which didn't have much corned beef or roast reef & was overpriced at $14. Not something I would recommend or order again. My friend had the Kennett Burger which he enjoyed but with generic frozen fries which were nothing special. He has eaten here a few times before and said that as long as you order a burger/sandwich you generally can't go wrong. Waitress was a young girl and her service left a lot to be desired. Slow, didn't come back to ask how our food was after she brought it over, and took a while to get a drink refill. There is a clear difference in whatever is happening at the goal line pub lately. The food has improved tremendously!!! Service is better too. We had salads, chicken cooked perfectly , the Brussels sprouts app is delish, sweet potato fries are the best I've ever had. We've been coming here for 5 years while one of our kids was at West Chester University playing hockey. It's a great place to watch the games. The food has gone downhill. It used to be really authentic Italian sauce in the pizza with garlic and spices. I got it tonight and it had plain canned tomato paste on it. No sauce. You need more flavors on pizza! The service is usually great. They have a good beer selection. If you want to watch the games they have 4 TVs over the bar. read more

If you like extremely slow service, warm food served cold a completely inattentive staff that disappears for long periods of time then this is your place. Three people at a 4 top, no one ever brought us menus, we tracked them down from another patron all we ordered was 3 apps. Only got 2 of the three, both served cold. No drink refill offered and no explanation or apology for failing to bring out complete order. Check amount was wrong and missing a soft drink. We intended to order dinner but after 1 hr and 20 minutes- we left money on the table and left. Corrected check was never brought back so we left what we believed the correct amount. Eat at the snack bar on the lower level and bring the food into the rink to watch a game. You have been warned. read more

My husband and I have been here probably four times since it opened in September.Each time we've been,we've hoped it would have improved. We really want it to do well because it is so convenient to go to before a game.The two good things about the Goal Line Pub is the beer selection AND the wine selection.I am a Pino Grigio person and they have the best Pino for a mid range bar ever!Santa Margarita!The food is so-so and the staff needs much improvement on customer service.We have had to go hunting the staff down just to pay our check. Great spot for a different setting for a meal! The menu has some great selections, and pretty sure there is something for everyone! Fun to sit and watch hockey practice or a game with family and friends! Our server was a little rushed and aggressive in his manner, and the hostess was down right rude to our party of 4. I had made an online reservation for 630 and we were there at 620. Instead of politely welcoming us, maybe even suggesting waiting at the bar til 630, she just looked at me and said "you are too early". I asked what would she like us to do and she walked away from me, turning to say "well I guess I have to find you a place". She just kept walking so we didn't know what to do, and assumed to follow her. She turned around and said " stop, I am finding you a table, damn (under her breath ). My cousin brother and I decided to try out a new spot and had the worst experience ever. We were in there for over 2 hours and waited for over 30 minutes for someone to take are order. With the restaurant not being busy the service slow and terrible. Food was over cooked and my cousin's burger was cold. I do not recommend this place to anyone. read more

Pretty nice to have a spot to get something other than snacks at the rink but the food is below par, especially for West Chester. And I wouldn't complain unless you want to be told you're wrong and the food is excellent. I guess since it's an ice rink a dry hockey puck burger is what they think you want. It went bad enough I told my kids I'd drive them all the way out to Chester Springs to skate next time. read more

The small things mean everything since remembered. Great view of ice rink 1. I was happy to sit right at the overlooking window counter. A belly up to bar type seat. All good. Place looked nice. Pretty quiet Monday time at 1pm at the end of the second quarter. Noticed no napkins. Regular tables behind me had set ups, but nothing here. Well dressed nice waitress came by and I asked what was on tap. She wasn't sure of all that was available. Came back with the Guinness @ $7 but no napkin, ordered the French dip sandwich @ $13, kept the menu in case I wanted more, and asked a bit extra napkins so I just didn't get one. Sandwich and fries came out. She went back for the dip. Generic fries were hot which is good. Sandwich bread was great and toasted well. Meat was cool in the center, not warm, only flash heated to partially melt the cheese topping, should have been warm to hot. Dipped it. Dip was cool. Ok, so now I considered them both not done. Never drained the onions out so the bottom third of the dip cup was onions so less dip. Cooks know to remove the onions and heat food. They just dipped it out of the French onion soup container. I think a hot item should be hot, as it would have tasted great, but... So, ok I'll eat the onions, but wait, still no silverware. I reached behind me to take some off the unoccupied table behind me and sure they noticed. Onions were cold. Decided not to order any more items. Kitchen help then comes out and starts to put a plate in front of me, but it wasn't mine, I was already eating. He then asked if I ordered this? Folks down the row spoke up. Waitress left the check. I had to go so I was looking for her, so I just left the cash on the check, 16% tip, not my 20 or more. Nice view, nice place. Staff should know what's on tap. Should have napkins. Hot Food should be hot. Should get silverware. Should know where orders go. Management should always be aware that all of these things are done correctly, so from the reviews, I see this is not new. If I go back to the rink, I may go back in there because its warm and has a great view and beer. read more
