I went to this restaurant after it coming up highly recommended in the Murfreesboro area. Myself, my cousin and two young children attended the restaurant. The ambience was really nice. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and the food was definitely memorable! For appetizer we had boneless wings And drunken shrimp. Both of which were hand breaded and came out very crispy. There's nothing worse than having a soggy piece of chicken or shrimp! For dinner, the kids shared a flatbread pizza which came out great both myself and cousins entrées came out great as well. Food was amazing as always. The fried pickles were some of the best I've had. Our server, Edward, had great customer service.

Food was especially delicious. Drinks were good but slightly pricey. Service was excellent. Great atmosphere but usually pretty busy so its loud and expect a wait time. Mine was only 30 minutes. All in all, a great visit. Would eat there again when in Murfreesboro. read more

I moved into the apartments close by the GOAT. I have not had a bad food item yet. My favorite is the "devil on goatback" pizza​ with pork belly, caramelized onions and Sriracha sauce. The drunk is my favorite appetizer. They have a variety of creative drinks. Zac is a great server/ bartender who is attentive to his clients has an abundance of energy. There is a pool table, few video games and a lot of TVs to keep your attention. I definitely recommend the GOAT. read more

Had a great brunch after making am runs. I ordered the shrimp appetizer. Was ok the sauce was alittle sweet for my taste. The loaded fries my gbaby enjoyed. The waitress was so helpful by offering to put all the toppings on the side for travel purposes. The best part was the waitress she was so nice it was a chilly day being from Az but the set reminded me of home. Gorgeous view from any seat in the house. Very open high ceilings. Casual fun place to eat with friends. I would love to go back for trivia on Mondays I believe! Pub type food that is not bad but not incredible either. The fries are a bit out of the freezer. Burger was really good though and the family said the rest of the food was good! Bar is nice and serves local beers rotating taps. Service was good very nice waitress. All in all a very refreshing alternative to some of our other haunts on the avenue. I've been here a few times while vising Murfreesboro for work. The Goat has a very nice large space with a large "L" shaped bar and lots of seating through out the rest of the space. The space is very nice with exposed wooden rafters and windows looking out on the pool and volleyball court. There is also a nice area of outside seating with fire pits. The last time I was in I had the "Devil on Goatback" pizza, and it was quite good. They also have a very nice beer selection that has several local and regional offerings, both on tap and in bottles/cans. The bartender was great, and very helpful. Very welcoming and engaging. Overall, the Goat is a great place to stop by for dinner or drinks, and is nice place to hang by the pool or volleyball court as well. read more
